I did this too! word of warning to anyone doing this in the future; put your boost gauge further from you. This is because of the length of the boost cable being kind of short, and if you put the gauge closer to you, you won't make it into the engine bay. AFR is fine.
So.just installed AEM boost guage on driver side and it stays on even when the car is off? I tapped cigarette socket, fuse box for stereo and tried accessories but for some reason, it stays illuminated even when car is locked. Never have I seen this with anything in my life and it's my first AEM guage. Any ideas?
Bro so I did the same exact steps.. and my cigarette lighter plug 12v stopped working.. fuse is not blown as well and the connection behind the plug isn’t loose.. please help
Funny that you just commented. I actually fixed that issue last night! Add another 15 fuse to that tap in port. Fixed mine, just use one of the extra fuses provided from under ther hood fuse box
Hey man sorry if you’ve shared this in another video but what did you end up doing with that t bit. I’ll be doing this install soon and the more stuff I need before the better!
@@TheSnyds do you have the grimspeed boost controller by any chance? I’m trying to figure out if I’m supposed to hook up my bov to it. Thanks in advance
Vacuum should be around 20hg at idle, 10psia. it seems the ralliart likes to idle around 17-19hg (at least mine does) which to me seems low, but it's most likely the tune profile for the cams that is making the vacuum lower than the average vehicle.

Hey man what app were you using for that elm adapter I can’t find one that connects to mine on ios
what exhaust kit are you running
Ultimate Racing Catback. Resonated midpipe
@@TheSnyds do you recommend cobb accessport or no?
From everything I've heard I would say no. Not for our cars at least.
What does that 3rd fuse you used for? And does it matter what amp?
What radio head unit are you running?
My boost gauge randomly started reading max boost at 7psi but the car is def hitting full boost by the feel. Any idea why?
so how is that afr gauge and sensor working out for you in the long run quality wise?
Hey bro which blow off valve u have
How did you set the torque pro app to read the boost properly? Mine seems to be all over the place.
Def check all your lines man. It should be accurate
@@TheSnyds I'm talking about the OBDII version. Any idea how to make that accurate?
Yo, so I in my Ralliart, im running atock with an evo x bov, my gauge is reading -20 on startup, is this normal?
Don't know if you found you answer but yes, that's normal
How did you get the top to not pull the oem a pillar down from the weight? I got mad sag (piece is tight against oem)
I didn't have to go anything for the oem side. Guess I got lucky?
I am actually having a hell of a time with my oem pillar not snapping in. Was hoping to see him have the same problem
@@johnryan8985 I ended up having to cut holes in the OEM one and 3m taping them together. It won't sit flush unless wires come from under a pillar

Hey bro so im doing this on my evo 8, i have 3 aem gauges though, can i connect all 3 power and ground to one fuse tap?
You should be able to. If it don't work you may need a bigger fuse
Do I needa aftermarket bov to Install boost Guage??
No you don't
What diffuser you using man?
Stock Ralliart diffuser
Do any of these steps Have to do with having the digital gauges ?
These are digital
@@TheSnyds this is true haha I meant on the infotainment center
@@Erkkremlinklum oh nope. Two separate things man. Infotainment is Bluetooth to an obd2 reader
Okay cool, awesome video btw. Making it 10x easier for someone that’s never done it before👍🏻

Man I love that t-shirt. Do you know where there are more ?
Same man. I need a larger size now lol
@@TheSnyds don't know where to get one?
Na man. I got this for free at the Mod18 event
tip for anyone doing this do not use zip ties for the boost gauge mine popped off not it
Will you do a oil pressure gauge?
Yesir eventually lol
I got 18 gauge wire to extend oil pressure wire and it’s definitely larger wire and instructions say it’s 22-26 awg wire
Couldn't you have gone thru the firewall 🤷🏽♂️?
Vaccum should be at 10 on idle
I've seen ppl say it fluctuates between 19-24 so idk lol. You got an answer for me!?
