I personally love all the Slavic countries without any exception, but the country I love the most (except my home Slovakia) is the country of a thousand lakes, metal, winter, saunas and ice hockey, Finland. I'm planning to go there and stay for a month or two and maybe some day I will even move there.

As a Chinese who studied in Bratislava for one year, I must to say that to live in BA is a quite good choice, not too big, but you can find almost everything you needed, wanted to visited it again after the pandemic. Greeting from CN!
Very interesting how its possible? No China food there, no local food in city center not to many nice places, even foreign food not tasty... Many empty places with comunistic architecture... Its a ,,mistake-city" not much to search there... :(
@@Gogorogok there's a lot of Chinese and good foreign restaurants in Bratislava, so are restaurants with local and national cuisine, and Bratislava is full of nice places. Sorry about your bad experience, you could've used a good guide it seems
@@Gogorogok Hey, Gogorogok, I think it depends on what you really needed. Regarding to the food, yes, it is not that tasty. Halusky for me is too sour and also I am not a big fan of beer(but I really like kofola). However, you can find nice shops, such as book store, cafe. and shopping mall, cinema, IKEA, airport with low-cost airlines and the renovated river bank, you can jog there (this is a big plus!). People I met there is also very nice, I used to visit the National Gallery regularly in 2014, and it's free for the whole year.
@@jakubondrus6064 thanks Jakub. The Chinese food is really so so in BA, and if someone really want to try, maybe they can go to Budapest. However, I am not go to BA for Chinese food, right? I think BA and other parts of SK attracked me for its beautiful nature, nice people and low cost living for life. I hope one day I can come back to the Visegrad states for spending my retired life.
@@luda5034 I can imagine it isn't really close to the actual authentic Chinese food haha, but non-European restaurants will always be adjusted to Europeans' tastes a bit at least, I guess that's just how it is anywhere in the world. Bryndzové halušky is one of those dishes that you either love or hate, nothing in between haha. As a born Bratislavan, I'm glad to hear you liked the city and the country! I live abroad nowadays but also want to return there in the future.

Weird-as a Czech, I think I would not even think of mentioning I love Slovakia the most in such a survey. As it simply goes without saying on this side of the border.
I never had a chance to visit the Nordic countries but seen videos on them on RUclips. I particularly, like Sweden and Norway. I like the culture, languages, love of nature, and mountains. Overall, I like, how the Nordic countries care for the welfare of their people like, people have more work life balance. Also, saying, "welfare" seems to imply some good where, in North America it has more bad associations with the term like, "laziness, government handouts, you are poor."

During my waiting for departure at Busan airport i forgot my notebook at bench directly in front of main gate for over 30 minutes. When i realized that my notebook is missing i went to full panic mode - i had zero hope that i am gonna see it ever again....couldnt believe my own eyes - notebook was laying where i left him, nobody stole it! ♥️🇸🇰

@@cryptochartist1482last summer we arrived to Bourgas airport, took taxi to Sveti Vlas where we had booked the hotel (which was perfect, really. Pools, tobogans/water slides and directly at the beach and cheap). We went to day trip to Nessebar and Sunny Beach. It was really good, nice country, polite people, safe.
Few years ago we stayed in Primorsko and went to Sozopol, Bourgas and Nesebar too :) I am not sure but maybe even this year we will go to Bulgaria, we will see.
As a Frenchman, I really like Slovakia a lot.
I didn’t spend as much time as I wanted there but the people are pretty laid back, the nature is gorgeous, the countryside and villages have a wonderful atmosphere/architecture, I find the language really cool too.
If I were to set sails to another country after my many travels around the world, I’d probably choose Slovakia.
Positively surprised that i've heard my country (Portugal) a few times ^^ .
This summer I went to Slovakian trip (I'm czech) and I was thinking it will looks like little bit poorer czechia with mountins, and bruh, I was so wrong :D Like it has the vibe,mostly in the city centres, but outside cities it is magical. They have a lot old wooden houses in the villages, In Czechia it is too, but only in some locations, plus there are a lot farm animals in the country side, that numbers I could only find in the most eastern czechia . Also slovak cousine is nice, ofc we have some shared foods, but their cheese is everywhere and was the best. :D
Ofc I don't have to talk about beautiful Tatras.
But also I find out in Žilina that we still can find old non reconstructed communist train station in the County Seat, which was very surprising, I just found these in cz in villages or small cities :D
And the people there are bit different too, more the eastern european vibe + a lot more gypsies. But still they are our brothers, and I love how they accepted me more cuz I am not from Prague but from historic part of Moravia, which have a lot of things in common with slovakia :D
Also my bf's mom is from eastern slovakia, from Rusyn minority, and the people here, wooden churches and culture is magical and awesome.
PS: I love the two girls in the end, one is biologicly from China and wants to visit china and the other one wants to visit taiwan. And still they are friends and this wouldn't happen there :D

I'm from Germany and I like Slovakia 😂 to be honest why pay several times the price in Vienna if you can have a more exotic visit 50 km further east in Bratislava? Bratislava really has many different accents of Europe's most beautiful cities combined. But just a bit smaller and cleaner. Bratislava and Kosice are really worth visiting. The atmosphere is so beautiful compared to German cities. The best thing that happened to me is that I studied there . I didn't want to study in Germany after.
