Thank you for the quick tutorial. I was to lazy to go find the box with the Manual so this helped. Only thing that sucks is you can only assign buttons for that side joycons. I can't assign the back button on the left joycon to B it I want 😢
Any idea why I cannot get the assign or turbo lights to come on? I tried disassembling and checking connections and reassembling, usual buttons all work fine but Turbo and Assign just don't light up
So I bought one of these the other day and I thought it was faulty. Am I correct in thinking, you can only assign buttons depending on which joycon... I.e. I can't have B on the left assign and A on the right, I would have to use only buttons from the left side?
Yes, you are right. The left joycon is for the buttons on the left side and vice versa. And yes, you can only have one button assigned to each feature at once. It would have been cool for that sort of customization but I think the price would have been increased. Thanks!
Trying to use this to harvest sparkling spots in DQ11. Any idea how I'm supposed to get "A" to press by itself? U said something about pressing turbo and "Y" but all that's doing is rapidly opening and closing my map.
I honestly don't know but the assign button in back can act like a normal button press. So if you have 'a' assigned to turbo, then the assign button in rear can be used normal. Also, it really depends on the games programming; it may not allow for this configuration. You may try custom button mapping in game but I don't think that dragon quest 11 has that. If it does then try to change the button layout. Other than that I'm sorry don't know what else to say.
Yes, I still have it and haven't had any issues with it. The only thing that I wish it had was the wake-up feature. Other than that I really enjoy it! :)
How do you get them working from a locked screen? Super annoying everytime I play I have to use the top lock button before they will work is there a way around this?
@@LightForGod7 I’m pretty sure you know the problem because they all have it lol. If your switch is locked and has been locked for a while, you can’t just hit the home button on the switch pad pros to unlock it you have to hit the switch’s lock button first. They only work if you just recently locked it like within a minute
@@shinyhntr4878 super late but it's not always charging and only connects when the console is on so no there's not a way to turn it on without the lock button which is pretty annoying
Hey thank you for your comment! You hold the Assign button and press the button in the back of the controller. That will turn it off. If that doesn't work then take controller off the Switch and that will disconnect it. Hope that helps! :)
Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure how to use these or what assign meant. These have now gone from great controllers to exceptional ones!

I'm not sure what the problem is there. I haven't run into that problem or know anything about it. Let us know if you figure that out!

Hey thank you for your comment. I'm not sure, I believe you have turn it off and it won't turn off automatically.
Mine those that, u ever fix it?
i found out that if you unplug the power then the turbo turns off :) otherwise it will stay on all night
Ah so there’s way to have A button on the left paddle handle huh?
Can u get banned if you use it on fortnight
Does it work on Minecraft
Honestly, I don't know but it should work. It kinda just depends on the game. Sorry I don't have a definite answer.
@@LightForGod7 thanks anyways
You're welcome!
It does
How u turn em off
For Turbo: you press Turbo and the + or - button. For Assign: press Assign and the button on the back of the controller. Hope that helps!
