Love this clip! I have to say Derek “Tricky” is my Favourite fellow😊♥️🐶 However, I’ve enjoyed watching Callum since seeing him on the show “The Durrells”. As “Tristan” on All Creatures Great and Small, his smile makes you smile and he brings a naughty side to his character (in the best way!)😄 You’re all wonderful on the show, lots of love to you! 🇨🇦

I love this show and I bought The James Harriot books. Way back in the 1970s. Read his books Love them. Would like to visit yorkshire one of these days 😊
Did not know the remake existed, as it wasn't shown here in Australia. Have the original boxset, which I love. Just ordered Season 1 and 2 of the remake which will arrive today. Looking forward to it, and binge watching it tomorrow Saturday here.
The casting director is often the true star.

Thank you so very much for all of your beautiful work & talent each & everyone responsible for bringing this show to millions of viewers such as myself. It is so entertaining, kind & extremely funny. Tricki Woo is especially one of the true loves & stars of the show. Your cast of actors & actresses, & animals are absolutely delightful & truly make you believe that you are watching reality with a beautiful lesson from each & every show. Please continue this story.Thank you for giving me hope & happiness by watching this show.

I didn’t watch the original series until after seeing the new series (binged multiple times). The stories/acting/etc in both are wonderful, but the “styles” are different. I like the most recent version best-including the modern Siegfried, Tristan, James, Audrey, Helen, Trickie-Woo. For whatever reason, the modern version seems more “natural”, while the older version seems more like a stage play/performance.
Am enjoying this sooo much.
I do hope that Tristan and Maggie end up together-good chemistry!
He really does try to survive on sweetness and almost never taking responsibility. He is not guileless, though, as he figures out how to do as he damn well pleases and not bother to try to stop the bleeding once there's harm that needs handling. Let someone else slip & fall thus figuring out they must fix whatever it is. He is one of those men who depends purely upon being seen as a "hail fellow, well met" and does not see how Siegfried earned respect or Mrs. Hall or even James, as a newcomer.
Just NOT the same. Can't get over it.
what was this - not one piece of good writing in this entire sample - can't hold a candle to original - I can't bear to watch this remake.

Actually as a mega fan of the original series, this new one has really grown in me. I thought season 2 was particularly good and I prefer the new series now.
@@carokat1111 I think they can make it grown on you but I still think it is a travesty - no offense to any of the actors - I just think it was the way it was written and packaged.
Woodhouses's WAY over the top "gee ain't I larger-than-life" acting is far and away the weakest of the show - on a par with whomever is responsible for the fake snow. For my money a spinoff The Alderson's would showcase the 3 best actors. All told though, ACGS is still a great show.
