Like a friend of mine once said about not following "rules of engagement": "i rather my mom visit me in prison than bringing flowers to my grave!"
Your friend wasn't exactly Einstein, was he?
@UC8_WY3NZ6kDDVVzd3xjfQ_w says someone who obviously has never been in a situation like this if you have youd know how bullshit rules of engagement can be where its you and your buddies dying meanwhile guys like this get away and fo it again and dont get caught because some fucknut whos not there is calling the shots and thinks he knows everything
So true
@@TheSaltyAdmiral no
He’s was a survivor
There a lot of situation where these "Rules of Engagement" is like gambling with your life.
I hated how they translated Benicio's first words as "with Peace" he's actually saying "Compas" which is equivalent to "homies" or "buddies" in Spanish.
true! 👍
What does pisanos mean? It it meant to be a insult like "hick" because Guillermo is from big city and these guys are from the country?
@@Latinos4Trump not quite. The literal definition/translation is something like “fellow countrymen” but the way “paisano” is used in Mexican-American relations has different connotations. Basically, he’s calling them southerners, not Mexican-Americans, and also addressing that they’re gang/cartel-affiliated
@@Latinos4Trump It's not an insult. It's what you call someone who is also Mexican as a term of endearment. Almost like "brother".
@@djknucklez1 Now I'm really confused, those dudes looked Mexican or even Salvadorian, hitmen from guy they are transporting(Hell in Yankee land blowjob guy and Guillermo is Colombian in movie so they are not countrymen) Anyway I look forward to the part 3.👍
Glasses straight up two shots everyone in the car..epic scene!
He used to be a spy after all.
That double tap ...
The thing about that is he didn’t just spray around, he took like 2 shots each and onto the heads

Too bad Jeffrey Donovan didn’t have a bigger role in this movie
This scene never fails to amaze me no matter how many times I watch it.
its crap . you think that huge crowd of commuters would just sit in their cars ? hell no, there would be people scrambling everywhere
What's the title of this movie?
@@al-fajrprasetyo481 Sicario 1
I didn’t realize it was Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) until I rewatched this scene because it was so good.
I like to think after the end of burn notice he comes back to do work for the Government in this movie
Haha yeah he goes back to being CIA. He is pretty badass n under utilized in the movie.
Its scary how you can be 1 second off from death in shootings
I know. I always think about that when watching firefights in movies and online. One wrong movement and that's it. Alot of it is chance I think
@@thomasgreen1557 agreed. Chance and anticipation. You can read body language an if someone makes a slight movement, that’s all you need to act first.
1 second off from death...and straight to paradise.
It pays to be proactive and aggressive in those situations. Like how they immediately wanted to set a perimeter and get out of the truck. Sitting in that truck only put them at a disadvantage. They knew whoever got out first was going to have the edge.
Another thing is that I have came close to death many times before but saved because my parents. Now imagine if they were busy or gone. I wouldn't be here. Same with others.
This scene is definitely the best scene in the cinematic universe! It should have received an Oscar!
3:25 Boom Headshot !
That have to be the calmest traffic ever if i was near of any of those car I could be hiting my pedal full speed lmfao
Welcome to el paso, this is called tuesday for them
Lol. I’d be shitting my pants
This is what shows the sad reality down the border. Violence and crime is part of daily life
😂😂😂
That scene alone is worth watching the whole movie. Definitely one of the year's best!
The guy with the black glasses would be a perfect match for a movie “Half Life - Gordon Freeman”.
But no suit
Dude is one of my favorite secondary characters. Love when he was a part of the CIA crew that 'cleaned up' the gang at the end of Sicario 2.
You talking at bottles? From shot caller.
That's the guy from Burn Notice. A show that was on for like 6 years on USA. Hes like Jason Bourne but remembers everything. It was pretty good.

"So Boss we picked some guys for that thing at the border."
"Those with all the face tattoos that you can identify as cartel from 300m away?"
"Yeah those, exactly."
"Perfect! It will hit them out of nowhere!"
that's actually proabable. the real sicario was the one kate shot who was wearing police uniform. the guys with tattoos were just decoys to lure the guys away from the car.
Thats literally what was intended. They were supposed to be a diversion so the sicario could kill Emily Blunt. The thugs knew they were going to die. Either get lit up by them or go back to the cartel and get their heads chopped off.
@@z43u What reason did they have to kill emily? I think he was on the way to shoot the prisoner and emily was in the way. but idk she was in the last car in the column and he had no way to reach the prisoner in time
@@oddursigurdsson9637 the purpose to kill emily is because CIA cannot operate inside US Land without local(FBI) attached to the operation.
1:40 He flagged her with his barrel which shows how little he cared for her in the beginning.
Prob an oversight they forgot bout it
@@LoQOpa they way she looks at the barrel pointed right passed her and looks at him for a second after like “wtf he just pointed it right passed me” maybe they meant to put that in.

The tension on this scene is really incredible
I love how Benicio really emphasizes the, "Do you want to die?" or QUIEREN MORIR?
Bro I thought I was the only one
Brilliant scene, the way the Delta Force operators expend only enough ammo to complete the job is perfect. Another Hollywood film would have a stupid gunfight with hundreds of rounds spraying about!
The way THANOS was chilling at @4:05 , was badass, like he knows he dont need to worry about anything, his boys will take care of things
I rank this as one of the best action scenes ever.
All of a sudden Blunt grows a conscious..Being in SWAT I guess is like planting flowers.

Jeffery Donovan is the most under-rated actor of all. His ability to be versatile, his adaptation for any character, and his way of holding himself when acting is unparalleled.
The gunplay in this movie is brilliant, they got some real grade A military advisors for this, I mean its so cool to see them moving around cars and setting perimeters, and the guys jumping into the trunk to cover the rear, brilliant stuff
I like the fact that they put their car windows down in case some bullets are fired premature, so that glass won't harm/distract you
Not only that, but your chances of going deaf go down significantly.
Also so they can fire out if necy
Producer sad this. In the end, they have to pay broken windows to THe car rental, so this way save some money.

2:44 Alejandro is aiming with a MP5 handguard picatinny and comes back in 3:54 with another MP5, this time without a picatinny rail, with other silencer and a different red dot sight, a detail that doesn't detract from the perfection of the scene. :D
