"Blue skies, large caliber weapons...."
Spot on.
😂
And he found out😂
Man, Sicario I and II are some of my favorite movies for straight up action .
First one barely had any action. It’s an amazing movie but not an action movie. It’s more of a thriller with a couple very small shootouts. So many better choices out there if you want your action fix.
@@uome20bukzhow are you gonna tell him how he feels about a movie?
I mean he’s right . Sicario 1 is a very low action scene .
@@CLS_7301 whether or not a movie is an action movie doesn’t come down to how you “feel.”
Sicario isn’t an action movie.
This scene is pretty sweet.
I really really want them to make a third Sicario movie, they were so good, especially with Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro, Emily Blunt, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Donovan...I could keep going, but you get my point, amazing cast!
I think they should leave it as it is, it’ll lose it’s magic if you know none of the main characters are going to die because of plot armor, kinda like john wick.
@@user-cs8iz8xy7u who said that non of them die in a potential third movie though?
They could also just switch up the cast, Emily Blunt and Jon Bernthal for example weren’t even in the second movie, so they could also just bring in new faces for a third one.
I think the potential for a third instalment is definitely there.
Emily Blunt sucks ass
Well done you named the main cast
@@Pooki2024 yes, pointing out the great cast was the point of my comment, what's the problem with that?
Can we just acknowledge that everyone looks comfortable in that HUMVEE? I mean that's the most unrealistic part of this movie
Danger everywhere. They portray professionals.
An uncomfrotable vehicle can be comfortable when you get used to it or right at the begining when you know its just temporary so its not worth thinking about it too much and just ignore the discomfort.
@@enriquecabrera2137 You've never actually been deployed on combat vehicles, huh?
@@clintonoh3108No, I haven't.Well, not lately. How does an M113 in Ft. Hood strike you?
@@clintonoh3108 I get it, you want to be one of the cool kids who talk shit about terribly uncomfortable accomodations because someone didn't tell you that a combat vehicle is uncomfortable on purpose and not made for taking naps. We get it Mr 300 confirmed kills, you're one of the cool ones.
6:10 "We are the Federales."
"If you're the Federales, where are your badges?"
"Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!"
its a shame so many wont understand the reference lol

I like how Matt is telling the UAV operator that he doesn't see anything when he's trying to tell him he's in ambush. Like, ofcourse not! You can barely see 5 feet in front of you
Thermals work differently, they can see through some things and not see through other things your eyes can.
What I am the most surprised by is how it took way too long for the UAV squad to forward info about an ambush.
Since he claimed 360 visibility of 10 miles.
It's easy to fool thermals and cartels know how to fool thermals.
I mean... they HAVE to be able to fool all the tricks the U.S. employees to try and stop them.
This scene never gets old.
I like how he always has Michael Westen by his side on missions 😅😅
Legendary show❤
If I’m not mistaken, Westen based his character on an actual secret service member. Pretty bad ass
@@fernandocabanillas8133you mean Mike Vining…of ASOC, Delta Force, etc etc?
@@ihateloggingon I don’t think it was Sergeant Major Vining, Going to do a little research to see if I can find that guy.

"Beautiful day; blue skies, large caliber weapons"
If they have birds eye, they should see the threats far away.
Cool story
not if they come out of an underground tunnel
It’s Hollywood my man
@@fernandocabanillas8133🤣😁😂
@@Pancakes741Or wearing blankets to cover their thermal signatures, especially in Mexico where high surface temperatures would mess with thermals anyways.
I've seen this clip a few times but honestly it's just outclassed by action scenes from the first Sicario movie
All two of them?
Love how visibility was 10x10x10. All clear.
Completely missed the fucking Silverado in the middle of Bumfuck Nowhere, Mexico.
With an RPG.
Whoops🤷🏾
Drone operator was the cousin of the Clone Trooper Scout from the Battlefront 2 trailer. Didn't see Darth Maul standing 30 feet in front of him.
In other words, a very accurate depiction of LE operations in mexico.
And then managed to miss the guy carrying a dead guy, walking over to the truck, and speeding off in it. 😂
6:10
"We are the Federal Police!!"
"If you're the Federal Police, where are your badges?"
That killed me 😂
I don't understand how the UAV overhead can't find the girl on thermals in like 5 seconds. She can't have got far on foot in that span of time. They should have spotted her the second she started moving away from the convoy!
wouldnt be much of a movie if they would have found her in 5 secs.
Plot hole
Plot convenience.
a UAV dropping ordnance in a country its not supposed to be in is going to get out of there as soon as it drops its weapons
Exactly I hate how Hollywood never thinks of the little things
Brolin rocking the Daniel Defense M4A1
Thermal doesn't work though glass.
And thats why he had no vision
Love how they were talking inside like it was an Escalade.
"Go ahead and finish your meal".
He said "left side 100 meters." And they blew up something to his right
Part 3 please 😊
Somebody did it. But they cast Danny Trejo. Don't bother.
Why is he holding the wheel for the driver instead of getting the thermals for the driver?
Thanks is nobody’s go-fer.
Probable he was observing the area and needed to be on comms I donno
He is the boss, You don't order your boss to get your stuff. He also doesn't know exactly where that thing is.
Thermals don't work through glass either. Glass is a solid thermal mass to a flir camera.
because
that is how we were raised to do it 👍
....its a generation thing
“ Blue Skies …large Caliber Weapons! “ - nice day for a drive 😊
Super film 👍
I love how calm these guys are in the Humvee. Just calm as a cucumber.
I always liked the guy from "Burn Notice"
Jeffrey Donovan, he's great.
Best supporting character
Comedy is subjective for sure 🤮
@@MichaelF-cc8riwhat are you on about
Those vehicles are way too close to each other for a proper convoy.
Womp womp
IT'S FICTION
I KNOW its a movie. But can front windahields take those impacts? That was from a m60?
Level 5 bulletproof glass can take .308 rounds. (And it was an M240, not an M60, but caliber's the same)
Yes, at level 5 they can. Easily. Witnessed one stop a 50cal round miraculously. It shouldn't have but did.
Level 5 glass is crazy. Can some times stop bullets it’s not rated for. Scary when they do
Movies usually pretend ballistic armor doesn't exist.
En donde puedo ver la 2 😢
I like how they basically had the mc's surrounded yet the federales in the back just hit pause while their buddies were being mopped up and then patiently waited till it was their turn lol
It is a sad day when one cannot trust the federal police.
The least realistic part of this scene, is that they aren't shouting to be heard over the engine, and road noise.
soy de mexico y puedo desir que la realidad supera la ficcion
Everyone commenting on whats not reality in this movie...Now the Fast and Furious franchise...that shit is real!
Family. Family is real.
Yeah let me cover my ears from the gun fire and then leave to hear more gun fire lol
FYI. That humvee should have been able to get out of that small trench.
This movie was great, everyone stop bitching at each other in the comments.
What’s a good franchise w/o fans that disagree on everything
who are you loser to tell anyone to do anything. Just continue being a nobody.
No.
Nein. Genuine criticism and trolling is the nature of the internet.
plot armor ahh movies
Supposedly the third one is in the works, "Sicario: Capos" according to the wiki page for this one.
The vehicles in that convoy are way too close together
Before this scene Brolin command the IT at base to successfully locate and track the phone location of Isabel’s father team, but nothing connected to that scene after that?
How come air couldn't track the girl?
Pop Quiz: can thermals ever see through a pane of glass... NOPE!
2:15
"I got no vis"
I would think so considering that thermals just gonna see a flat blank area. The glass
That is an effective way to escape an L ambush.
03:42 how's that humvee stuck? Does that have only 2wd with an open diff or something?
Engine failure at wrong moment and they don't have time to restart it all over and over again.
3:57 you can actually see people in the desert shooting at the convoy, before i had assumed it was a single rocket launcher but it looks like a couple dozen guys shooting.
"I'm good, it caught the plate"......
Drone pilot needs to be fired. He said he can see 10 miles in every direction.
Hang on how did the dust magically teleport inside the humvee like there was no windscreen...
Never driven in Mexico huh? This shit is so fine it gets inside water bottles
Why didn't they pick uparmored humvees again? Hardshell only offers protection from the elements. not bullets
She didn't shut the door properly?
How did they get ambushed when the drone has clear visibility for miles. I get they would probably he hiding or camouflaged but don't thise things have thermal?
¿Por qué la mayoría de los comentarios en inglés son tan amargos? Y no sólo en este video.
es porque estos estadounidenses están obsesionados con la política mexicana y los cárteles al sur de la frontera. no pueden simplemente ver una película para entretenerse.

😂😂😂
Damn
2:10 this moment killed the immersion for me in the theater. For those that don't know, Thermal Imaging devices can't look through glass because glass blocks the infrared radiation from reaching the TI's concentrating lens. So of course the driver can't Ducking see anything.
so if it was accurate that he couldn't see how was your immersion killed
@@BigPapiLoc the operator would have known that he can't see through the Hummer's bulletproof windshield with the thermal, and would have never even bothered to get it out in the first place... Duh.
If that one little thing killed your immersion, then I don't understand how you can get immersed in any movie
Tell me if you're immersed.. 👍🏼
@@robbiesobotka5778 well Autism sucks in that regard, hard to invoke my suspension of disbelief.
In the desert, you can remember your name.
Couldn’t they have contacted the drone to see where the girl was?

😂Poor taxpayers. Their billions is are toys in this game. Nothing changes the drugs and problems are STILL there.
Great movie though.
It's called Job security
The plot contrivances regarding the girl and the inaccuracies kind of ruin this scene. A calculated and somewhat soulless attempt to recapture the absolute magic that was the first movie.
Dirt roads make him nervous? He must be from the south 😂
Or the Rocky Mountain west/ South West... lived in that region most of my life. Dry dirt roads always made me nervous. Now I live in sub tropical south, dirt roads out here don't kick up nearly the dust as to what I grew up with.
lol is this before closed borders . Can you imagine what is going on right now?
Really liked the first one, was this as good as the OG? Never got the chance to see it.
Nope, totally unnecessary, not as good in direction, characters, script, cinematography, anything tbh
Damn they got smoked 🫡

No hace falta viajar hasta Afganistán: tienen el peligro ellos mismos jajajaj
Had to interrupt the video 4 times in the middle of action for ads? downvote.
I might be misunderstanding, but what happens at 3:20 ? They setup their team? Faking that there is contact from the right to engage friendly fire?
1:30 she understood that kidnap might be a roose
is that "Alverez" from HALO?
looks like san bernardino
The girls ruined the entire scene. The fact that the Federally fired one shot and at the plate carrier is ridiculous and none of the others got a shot off is ridiculous. This movie was not very good in comparison to the original.
Maybe im special.
sicario 1 superb movie, sicario 2 an interesting re-make but no more
That young actress does an amazing job

All that gear and no helmets ?
But, helmets would mess up the hair.
Helmets are for cannon fodder.
the girl is pretty dumb, like ya i get she scared, but she litery jumped out of the safest place, even i know you just stay where you are cuz its safe
How are you allowed to just repost KinoCheck's whole clips on your own channel?
probably a sister channel...movie clip channels get shut down often, so some have backups.. But also if you feel it's actual thievery, report it to kino and they may be able to get RUclips to step in.
Isn't kinochecks reposting this movie?

This scene has always bothered me: why would only ONE Mexican Federale fire? It makes no tactical sense - in an ambush, you want to lay down all your fire at the same time, no?
6:28 Real face of America
The UMP is the most underrated badass weapon ever.
in Alejandros hand for sure. the way he exited the ambushed vehicle, used the armored door for cover, fired aimed shots through the door gap, legendary
That's going to anger some people
From an uninitiated and non-expert point of view.... they probably shouldn't ga e come out of their armored cars, what if they'd had snipers nearby??🤔
In the real world the cartel would have won.
What happened to the guys shooting the RPGs? They just take out two Humvees and then leave while their boys lost a shootout?
5:07 Silly little girl. Getting out of the bullet-proof vehicle into the line of fire.
So in this scene is that real Mexican police or fake cartels? If yes, is the Mexico authority man before this scene worked for cartels?
Keep calm and pew pew pew
This just doesn't feel the same as the convoy scene from Sicario. The tension, and intensity, the sense of danger, the feel.....this just doesn't do it. Whereas the first film feels real, this just feels like an scene from an action movie.
This is a complete mess divided into parts - everyone sits in their cars when they are fired upon and do not try to protect themselves from the bullets... The column of Hamers is fired upon from the right side, not a single car tries to leave the column, to make an evasive maneuver, everyone stands and waits, I don't understand why. As the repulse of the attack begins, BRLA finally remembers that it has weapons and fires. Now the sexians in unarmored Fords sit calmly with their backs to the line of fire and wait for them all to be killed. "This is exactly how people behave under fire - 100%!"
The Hummers don't look up-armored. Some of those rounds would have to have gotten through.
Nothing about this entire scene made sense. Fromcthe bullets pattering the ground when the girl escapes, to their sudden realization that the rest of the convoy still exists to whats-his-face aiming 3 feet above everyone's head with his stupid reflex site to then executing all those police, who were absolutely useless throughout the entire debacle
I agree. It was poorly shot.
Why don't they just fly helos across border?
it wouldn't be as badass
Sicario I is a masterpiece, Sicario II is shit, bad writing full of plot holes. The best thing about it is the score.
