if you was not sensored its could be great just suggestion ;)
Algonquin Park should hire you for advertising. This is some of the most beautiful calm lake views I've ever seen. Looks like it was totally fun. Especially decoding where to camp. You two are taking true advantage of enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Chris and Julia,
Thanks so much for doing the Far North series! I'm a single dad, and my kids and I started watching your channel last summer. Living in the North, we started to get interested in doing some camping in that part of the park. We are actually heading in tomorrow for a quick 2 nights.
Just wanted to say thanks for your videos, I hope you understand the impact you two have had on me - and wanting for my kids to get an experience like this. I can't explain how excited they are for this trip, I can hear them in thier rooms awake because they can't sleep :)
And that is in large part you two. My kids see how much fun you both have, together. They see beauty of nature through not only your lenses, but also through your story telling. But they also see two supportive, caring and strong women.
I think you are both excellent role models for my kids, something I wish there were more of on RUclips these days.
So congrats of this videos hitting over a million views!
We hope we run into in the park someday in the future, and don't worry we promise not to go all fan-family (instead of fan-boy) on you - would just be nice to say thanks in person.
Hope you are both well, keep up the great videos. Love from North Bay, ON
Awe! Thanks so much for your kind words David - they mean a lot to us! Julia and I hope you and the kids have a wonderful trip, and create lots of great memories out there! Someday we'll hold a meet-up in the park to say hi. By the way, the next video in the series will be up Thursday afternoon / evening, so it'll be waiting for you and the family when you come out of the park. Until then, have fun exploring Algonquin! :)
Hey Chris and Julia, our trip was an experience, and one that the kids and I will not forget for a long time... Here is a little video we did, that pales in comparison to yours, but thought I would share in case you were interested.

So I am new to the minimalist nomad lifestyle and watching your videos makes me so happy I have chosen this life. You guys are happy cheerful and both beautiful makes for a great video and calming experience. Live free !
1.5 million views. noice. Wonder if the thumbnail had anything to do with that lol🤔 That upside down shot was mint
Obsessed with the way you shoot your story! Way to set the bar!
I enjoyed watching your videos thus far. You are a inspiration to my wife . Thank you.
You are sharing so much joy and happiness! You remind us of ourselves, just 40 years younger than we are 😅 This year we have had to skin dip a lot of times, because it has been soooo hot weather 🌞
Greetings from Tove and Kaja in Norway
This motivated me to skinny dip on my last canoe trip, even though I haven't since I was a kid! Nothing like camping in the woods! ALSO the camera shots specifically during the portage while carrying the boat when it pans down looking forward then pans up looking backwards, SO GOOD! I re watched that soo many times, haha I want to try something like that!
This is such a treat every time. Video therapy at it's best.
That water, so calm. Holy moly. Gorgeous video.
Chris and Julia Gone Wild. :D
I love it when the lake is so calm you can see the wake of a swimming loon for a long long way, and you can hear the sounds of creatures on and around the lake from the still of the wind and the bounce off the lake. It makes you want to put your day planner away, the instincts of life are all that matter there.
I did not realize until you uploaded day 6 that this video got 1.4million views!! Congratulations Chris😁 well deserved with all the quality content you and Julia put out!
Thanks so much Sanka! That video's path was a bit of a wild ride, haha :)
Great team work ladies! Nothing but good vibes in this video! 😊
Love the video, can't believe how calm it was.
I have anxiety and watching the scenes of you guys just paddling, with no background music, is SOOOOOOO relaxing. Thanks
Glad to hear you're enjoying them Tom! Thanks for watching and hope all's well :)
This one was so realistic on the trail, on the water and when you jumped into the lake I actually got wet. Nothing better than kindred spirits in the backcountry.
Gorgeous. That sequence from 7:16 to 7:38 is impressive. It's like being in a dream!
Joe sent me. Fantastic channel you have. Thanks for sharing!
man i hope i can go to those lakes next year. they are so beautiful
Chris, you're the magic maker. Thanks for taking us along.
You really capture what is the essence of wilderness canoeing. I became so engrossed in the calmness, and peaceful solitude at the beginning of the video that I completely forgot about skipping ahead to the skinny dip scene.
When i watch your videos i can relax. I stay tense but this helps me to relax. Beautiful scenery and the upside down part was cool. Didn’t even look up side down. You lades are amazing
Glad I found the thumbnail. I subscribed
Joe was right, really nice felling in your vids ,nice to subscribe, thanks 🙂
I leave for this exact trip on August 12th. We are doing it in 4 days 3 nights though. Since it's a fire ban we are pushing for longer paddling days. Super excited and the fact I get to see a preview of the route ahead of time is great. Awesome video.
Was nice to see Manitou and a little bit of North Tea lake. Used to go in from the Amable du fond. Thanks
I love how you put in the squiggly lines from island to island. Very cool!
Looks so peaceful, brings back memories canoeing .Friends had a huge canoe.Use to go to Manitoba as a kid but always cut thru states ,quicker camping along the way. With a 3 bunk pop trailer. From southern Ontario.
Thumbs up for the DJ Quads guys. Adds fun to the fun.
Love the shots with the bow of the canoe cutting through that dark calm lake.
Love the unique music!
Nice adventure. 4k was great. That water is the smoother I have ever seen!! Beautiful.
What a lovely morning surprise. Beautiful reflections.
the calm in this vlog is flat out amazing !!!!! I'm inspired !!! thanks !!!
That Sunset just after 11:00 is breathtaking!
Your video was a suggested by RUclips while watching another outdoors one. Glad I found it. Excellent cinematography. And you can't go wrong with Algonquin. Subscribing.
Your films are a much needed respite. 👑
Love it! I've been to Algonquin a total of like 20 days this summer already, it's awesome! Can't get enough! You are way better at doing video of it though hah, I'm still learning
Sometimes the voyage isn't about the destination but how you get there. Love the video as always.
So true 😊 Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much Dustin! Glad to hear you're enjoying them :)
Great video !! 👏I got inspired to make a trip like that
It's crazy the stuff you come across on RUclips. I've spent many nights on that 1st sandy beach campsite. In 1995 me and a few friends were awarded a contract to rehab all the sites on Manitou and Kiosk. Best fall ever.
Olight has some headlamps you might be interested in.
I’m amazed.

In 3 years watching more then a thousend videos
I sub your channel especially
Keep it up 👍
Awe! Thanks so much! :)
I was about to ask about the canoe. But I took a chance to look in the description and found out it was the park that provided it. Great video. I really like how you worked together on carrying the canoe.
Tressa Zimmerman Algonquin Outfitters is a business that serves the park; the provincial park itself didn't supply the boat (just to be clear!)
You got a new sub!! Great video
Still and quiet, isn't it. Been their with my lady some 39 years ago for 11 days. Beautiful, scenery too. Best
Missed you guys , work & life got in the way but really happy to see you again.

Loved the upside down shot. It really messed with my mind for a moment.

Really awesome! I love Algonquin park. But in your videos, it is 100x better. Really good edits and videography! love your work.
Aww! Thanks so much Sandy! :)
What time of year do you mostly do your canoe trips? I do notice that you really don't have many bugs. I have done this trip that you're on 3 times and been to Rat Trap lake once but usually I would head down the creek back to Kiosk. I would like to do a spring trip but never have. All of my trips have been between Aug. 8 and Nov. 8. Looks like you had a great trip and a lot of fun.
BTW, since we are always coming from the states, we consider these trips our vacations since we can't get into the park for just weekends. Our trips are slow, enjoyable and stress free. Our trips are usually 35-60 miles in length and we usually take 7 - 12 days to do the trips. We are never rushed and can take a lay-over day just about anytime.
This place is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Can't get enough of your vids! Amazing!
Thanks so much! Already working on the next one :)
Great video. Well shot, well edited. Very good paddling technique, too; not always seen in camping videos.
Thank you! :)
My dream Place...thanks for bring it to me....
Another fantastic video! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. :)
My partner introduced me to Manitou for early September camp and fish. Amazing sites. Amazing water. Amazing experience. Every year. How often do you guys get to the north?
Very very romantic place , the view is wonderful ...
So glad Joe Robinet pointed me here 👍. Sub!
I absolutely love you videos.
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching Erich :)
I love the calm lake...
Watching your video was fun...!!!
best part the kids did not see a thing, as always inspiring
you 2 are just awesome.
Ah sorry Chris totally missed that you uploaded this episode. Will watch it right now! :) Your use of the handheld gimbal/camera is excellent when portaging. Very cool to watch. Great beach/camping location 8:24. Is there pre-cut firewood at MOST of the pre-determined campsites in Algonquin??! That is convinient! There is right now a nationwide firehazard (due to extreme warm weather) in Sweden right now, so I have to wait til fall to make any hiking/camping videos with steak grilling and stuff :-( ...I really enjoyed watching your video, thank you for sharing. Thumbs up from Sweden!
Soooo many dislikes, and idk why. Was there any shit youtube controversy? i find this video very good in itself. Thank you Chris.
*stupid EU person here, might have some grammer faults*
You ladies are super cute and I love the camping content....
화질 예술이다 꼭내가 찍은듯한.굿!
Simply beautiful and so quiet there.
Thanks Christopher! :)
another great video! and what an awesome weather day that was! It seems like you guys never see moose?
