Hi everyone, hope you enjoy the vid! Just a quick note - the 360° video mentioned will be up in a few days. Also, Julia wanted to say that she used grocery store naan bread in the recipe to help make the crust crispy. And as always, you can enjoy the video in up to its full 4K res in Google’s Chrome browser if you'd like. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend! :)
My daughter and I were camping on Big Thunder in late September and had just got into the tent for the night when straight off of the point from the campsite a whole pack of wolves began howling across the lake. They were only about 150 meters away and the entire pack was howling, even the young ones were yipping. We got out of the tent, but it was dark, and we couldn't see them, but we just sat there and enjoyed the serenade. It was magical! I did notice that you never go down Maple Creek to Kioskokkokwi. The portages are not bad and there is a really nice section that will remind you of the Nippissing River. Your videos let us reminisce and bring back such great memories. Thank you!
Love your videos as I love my beloved Algonquin! Have enjoyed several Algonquin interior trips with family and now our Grandson has joined us. Love Julia’s kitchen. You are both so inspiring Keep your videos coming.
I have to say that within the first 20 seconds of this video I found myself slightly smiling , there's a calmness in your videos as well as the wilderness that seems to find me in even my stressful moments in life. I thank you both for that , best regards from Lloyd.
Over twenty years ago, I canoed that same route. Looks just the same. When we entered Club Lake from that little stream, we had to canoe past a moose feeding on lily pads. Thanks for bringing back those memories.
The high definition of video with great shooting skill really did make your Vlog stand out! Especially after a long day working, holding a coffee and just enjoy the views.....not only it feels relaxing but also a good way to let out the pressure from daily work. Thanks again Chris
Joe Robinet sent me here. ...& I'm so glad he did. I'm still getting through your video but the camera handling and editing is EXCELLENT! Great work and great quality so far. Thank you, Chris.
Well done, outstanding work with the adventure, the filming and the editing. Its always worth watching, you create a unique atmosphere that is so captivating. I'm compelled to binge watch all of your previous work again. But I'm saving that for an ugly day that needs some beauty in it.
You have some beautiful country to enjoy there Ladies. I admire your serious Canoe skills I always seem to notice in your videos. Little things yes, but it shows your level of experience. Well Done , Happy Trails
Watching your adventures makes me want to go and explore our beautiful British countryside, though why does work always get in the way, thank you ladies brilliant video again x
Stumbled across your videos. Must say I really enjoy the humour, practical tips and excellent camera work. I've done some of the same routes with my daughter - always nice to revisit them. Keep up the good work!
You are certainly far more ambitious than I am when it comes to your food. Obviously, it's part of your enjoyment but for me, I would fail miserably. Kudos to your abilities to carry all that and prepare it while out there.
I just discovered your channel and have to tell you I love you two! The cinematography is beautiful. Your relationship is so beautiful. Thank for sharing such a beautiful life!!!❤️❤️❤️
I can't give you enough to thumbs up for that pie!! It looked amazing! Expecting a cookbook soon. :-) You two take an incredible amount of fresh foods with you for as remote as you get. Backwoods KUDOS!! I don't know how you got in that water Julia, it had to be freeeeeeezing. Thanks again for another great vid glimpse into your beautiful Algonquin park!!!
Perfect timing, I'm making my grocery list tomorrow for my 6 night stay in Algonquin for next week. Now I know what 1 of my meals will be for sure. Perfect music to a fantastic video, as always!
Great video as are all of your works. Thanks for sharing. We are off to Algonquin for much of this summer and your video's inspire us to explore further out than the Hwy 60 corridor :)
Thanks for another beautiful film, really enjoyed it. Thought for sure you were going to stumble into the water when cutting wood. That would totally happen to me. Pizza looked downright dreamy.
I love your camera work. it's all beauty. Dang I bet that water was cold, your lips are blue! Julia's kitchen was pretty darn funny too, I was crackin up. You two are silly.
Love the canoe used. Appears to have really good balance and directional control plus it’s just a beauty and the two of you move it with such pleasure. Wonder what time of year you all go? Looks like late season, some colors, no bugs, cool to warm and doesn’t appear you see other campers? Thanks again for packing us in...such a sweet delight to be looking over your shoulder at all that you see.
I just shared to my Facebook , hopefully you will get a few more subscribers because I believe everyone I know should experience what it is that myself and many more people get out of your channel. Thanks once again.
Another great video, loved that sunset! Thanks for sharing, I love watching your videos to get me in the mood for planning/prepping for another trip into the park. Any tips from Julia's kitchen on some Keto diet friendly meals?
Hey Ladies, great vlog as always! Tried the Aero Press and I wasn't that impressed. Now that I see you using it upside down I may give it another try. I threw the stand, funnel and scoop in the recycle because it was too much to carry. I put the filters in a Zip bag now. Do you guys still like it and carry the full kit?
OK.... wait - can I just be you? LOL... just found your videos via a link on twitter from my buddy Nature Bound.... Wow - gotta say, I love your work. #goals
