Love y’all’s channel. Not overdone with a bunch of meaningless narration or unnecessary music. Just the sights and sounds of nature. Looks like y’all really enjoy being out there together. Love the park. Love watching these before I settle down for the night. Reminds me of my trips to the ADK and Algonquin. Keep up the great content.
Thank you so much for the kind words ♥️ we very much enjoy being out there, and sharing our time there with others who like to come along on the trips ☺️
Making this same loop in September (except we’re going down through White Birch and Waterclear at the beginning, instead of Mink) After watching the series, we’re looking forward to it even more. We really enjoy your videos . Thanks for taking us along.
That’s exciting Vicki! We also love watching camp videos before one of ours to get all excited. Even better when it’s a similar route. Have an awesome trip! September is our fav time to camp
Glad your back. Emma is so cute. She will learn, our golden learned to sail very quickly. So.... no cans.... I guess bottles and broken glass is better. Your getting better at the videos. Be safe!
Thanks Debbie! We're so impressed with her improvement so far - we literally could not keep her in the canoe at all the first time haha. Sailing must be so fun! I bet your golden loves it. The rules are a bummer, but no glass allowed either, technically cans and bottles are banned; any single use, non burnable container. We usually just bring some whisky and/or wine in a re-usable bladder or plastic bottle. The key really is not to leave anything behind, but I guess some folks need more strict rules to drive the point home. Takes some planning but it usually works out :D
@@TwoPacksandaPup I also bring cans. It's all about litter. Pack out what you pack in and there's no problem. I also used to be a park warden. Unfortunately, some idiots just don't get it.
Loved this! What awesome weather to start the trip and such a happy pup! I love that Emma will just go for a swim whenever, haha! Thanks for sharing the food hanging trick. Keep it up!
I take an old ridge rest for the dogs too works great for the bottom of the canoe and in the tent. I cut mine in half will fit one large dog. If I bring two dogs bring both halves 👍
from the kiosk to little mink portage, turn left when you cross the old rail bed. it bypasses little mink and goes directly to mink. flat, straight easy walk and saves you a load/unload for the tiny pond that is little mink.
i also had two goldens at once a male named bronson and a female named dixie dixie would make her own beech by removing every rock in the area and bronson would swim under the water and i learned from them that all water belongs to goldens retrieviers lol
Thanks for the nice trip guys! Enjoyed seeing you folks and Emma having fun in the wild. By the way, how do you like your Keewaydin? I’m thinking of getting a new canoe and am checking various canoe brands and models. Also curious of your camera gear used here. Thanks, Todd
Thanks for watching Herve! We love our Keewaydin Swift canoe! It’s fast, stable and tracks well at speed with lots of space for the three of us. We could fit another bag if needed. We keep it simple with camera gear, as not to pull too much focus from our trip, also find that the best camera is the one in your hand! Most filming for this video is on the iPhone 12 pro, and some footage on the iPhone 10. Previous videos are mostly on iPhone 8, and some on iPhone 10. We have a little jobi tripod we mount to the front of the canoe sometimes too 😊
@@TwoPacksandaPup Thanks for your reply. I was surprised at the apparent stability of that canoe with your big wet dog being hauled into it from the water and it didn’t seem to be tippy. I’m torn between Keewaydin 16 or 17 and the Prospector 16. Also, I was quite impressed with a lot of the footage in that video. Looks like the newer iPhones have good IBIS. I assume your not using a gimbal? Can you hike with it and have good stability? I have an iPhone 8plus and it takes nice video but it is jerky to walk around with. Fine for stills. Thanks again for your help!
@@hervedelnorte7928 we were also torn between the Prospector and Keewaydin. We had rented both styles in the past and preferred the Keewaydin. The prospector could probably haul a little extra gear and add some stability, especially in rivers and creeks when you’re winding around at slower speeds. On the big lakes the Keewaydin really shines due to its asymmetrical shape. 16’ is more than enough for us but we pack minimally. We found the staff over at Swift really helpful, so worth a visit or a phone call to chat about your needs. The iPhone 12 Pro is outstanding. It would be really hard for us to justify bringing mirrorless camera over the iPhone because it slips right into our pocket when not in use. We don’t use a gimbal, the built in image stabilization works really well.
Emma's swimming style is always hilarious! 😂

My family always had golden retrievers so I can definitely relate to her personality lol
Aren’t goldens just THE best?! Hilarious sweethearts.

Oh yes, Emma is especially happy and inspired to swim at the drop of a hat at the beginning of a trip.. she slowly tires out as we go 😂
Thank you!
🥰
So far so good. Thanks 🇨🇦👍
Great video! We hope to explore that part of the park someday soon!
It pretty great 😀 thanks for watching!

We wish Emma would lay on that in the canoe instead of the packs 🙄 Ah well. Still good for her bed.
Congrats on your engagement Guys ! I noticed your ring during the video.
Ah thank you Jeffrey! We’ve been engaged for a few years now but I usually leave the ring at home 😅 totally forgot this time, but it survived! ♥️
