Thanks Sue! Yes a lovely podcast - I love watching them both and they always have such great comfort choices, just what I needed this month. Have a lovely weekend, sending love 💕
Hi Emma, what brand of circular needles are you using? I find my metal needles too fast, I’m not sure this is the right description. Bamboo needles are slower, warmer and more tactile, I like all of that. I have purchased some cheap bamboo circular needles from Amazon, but the cord is very thick and the yarn sticks to it, it doesn’t slide along as I knit, I find it very frustrating. I like the needles you are using at the beginning of this video, the short bamboo circular needles that would be very useful for knitting hats. I’d also need a linger circular with a longer cord for jumpers. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
Hello, they are knit pro 7mm 40cm fixed circulars in Birch which I bought from Wool Warehouse - I’m not sure if they do longer cords though you’d have to look in to it xx
You have such an eye for beautiful vistas, I really must visit Barrington Court; not least because my friend is head gardener there. I think you may have done an accidental yarn over that made that hole in your knitting. It’s something I used to do a lot when I was learning how to use DPNs. If you get stuck with anything I’d be really happy to help you. Message me on IG and I can do mini videos for you like I do for my bestie in London when she finds a mistake in her knitting. Xxx
Oohh thank you Gayna that’s a very kind offer and I may well take you up on it as I just can’t seem to find videos that show what I’m doing wrong but I did suspect my yarn placement may have something to do with it! I think I’ll have another go working with dpns with some non fluffy yarn as now I’m working the ribbing I’m struggling to see the stitches too 🤣 and there was me thinking I was doing so well! Lots of love xxx
Hello Emma, another lovely vlog thank you - I may or may not be Gayna's friend who works at Barrington 😉 and it is so lovely to see it captured on film so beautifully. You must come back later in the year when the borders are in full flow 😊
@@sarah1daisy Hello - thank you so much! What a wonderful place to work! You can see the care that goes into the gardens. it’s so beautiful I honestly had to severely edit the footage I was so inspired! We will definitely be back for another visit later in the year & look forward to seeing it in bloom! Xx 💕
I always enjoy your daily living vlogs. So relaxing watching you prepare meals. Beautiful flowers and buildings. And your crochet patchwork blanket is so pretty. Take Care.
Hi, Emma… It’s so nice to see you podcasting again. I really missed you during your hiatus. I think the person who wrote the Jane Austen cookbook has a podcast where her husband hunts and fishes to provide meat, and she raises chickens for eggs. She cooks Using recipes from the era, and is strict about following the instructions to be sure they’re made in the exact same way they would’ve been made all those years ago. If I can find the podcast, I will be sure to send you a link so that you can enjoy it, too ❤
Hi Christine, I’m back! I’m actually working with some cotton aran at the moment. I think a lot of them are quite splitty but I gravitate towards the paintbox cotton aran. Hope you are well, Em xx
Another lovely episode, with beautiful springtime out-and-about views 🌷 Your crochet blanket is going to look so pretty and I love the squishy, fluffy hot water bottle cover, so snuggly. I adored the book browse; the children’s nature book was very nostalgic, what stunning illustrations and you’re right, very like Angela Harding’s artwork. I always have an Angela Harding calendar every year as I just love her work. Take care 🧶🧵🌼
Thank you Sarah-Jane 💕 It’s lovely to see the everything coming back to life after winter! I love Angela Harding too and also have her calendar in the kitchen! Have a lovely week, Em xx 💕
😀💕xx thanks for your vlog Emma. I too love Miranda’s podcast.I often read her comfort book club choices. Her mum Donna is lovely too! Lots of love🥰

Hi Emma, Please can you recommend an aran cotton or cotton blend that is not spiltty? Love your vlogs and podcasts. Don't be away too long.
