One of the very first LP records I bought , ye The Seekers were Fab….R.I.P. Judith 🇮🇪☘️🇨🇮
God bless you Joe Brown. I love the warmth and the humour. No wonder George Harrison loved you.
Daddy, daughter and Sharkey all enjoyed this beautiful "trio", and so did I. Such talent.
Met Joe and his young family in Paphos, Cyprus, many moons ago. Delightful man. Treated me like an equal, rather than a fan. God bless him.
Joe always lifts my mood. He is a joy.
You know, I came to watch Joe Brown sing this song, released 60 years ago. I've enjoyed it now, as much as I did back then, but it was hard to see how much he's aged. Then I remembered. I've aged along with him. He was born in 1941, I was born in 1949, but it's good to know he's still around. One of the old school, along with Tommy Steele, Marty Wilde, and all the rest from that long ago era. Sixties music will never die, but today's "music" is forgotten within weeks.
He's so under-rated. Has music in his bones. Delightful.
You look around and suddenly almost 60 years are gone. !!!!! I remember Joe from those days always brilliant. !!!! Miss those days in the 60s. !!!
I've always loved this song since I was small 😊
How can anyone not like Joe Brown? A talented guy who can play music in His dreams.
Joe is alegend
@@jamesharte5491 He certainly is. What you call a one off. Joe certainly always had more than mere good looks too. There is an aura about him. It was important for the original rock stars of the sixties to have personality and sex appeal. Joe exhibited both. Wonderful stage presence.
loved him when i was young best time in the sixties when you knew the words and joined in singing
I just love him what can I do
This bloke is simply a Diamond Geezer. You just cant help but like him. Seen him 3 times now and every time, he never failed to make me smile, lighten up my day and got me feet tappin. All the very best Joe. Tgc now.
One of the absolute masters. We are immeasurably blessed to still have him with us.
The One and Only Joe Brown, it takes me back a long time.

And Joe's son on guitar Pete brown very talented musician.
Saw Joe Brown and the Bruvvers many a time in the 60's. He was a really genuine friendly bloke always having time for the fans. A true legend.
lookers amersham
Yes, his personality shines through at every performance.
Wonderful to hear this again. What a great performer, and he’s right about the nostalgia , I was right back in the 60’s
A London lad LOVED in Liverpool that's how good he is
I believe the Beatles were big fans.
Joe was asked to take the Beatles from small clubs to big theatres as they couldn't full them but he coud. He did it worked and they remained friends particularly George who he remained friends with to the day he passed away
Joe Brown is a National Treasure!!.
he is, absolute legend. Seen him several times.
sure is
As an American I dint know of Joe until about 10 years ago, we really missed out on a incredible entertainer and musician, now I need to hear everything he has done
Joe brown what you see is what you get a great bloke
Always amazes me that we can all sing along with the words, even though it's 50 years plus ago when we last heard it.
Always remember Johnny Cash bringing Joe onto the stage and presented him with a pair of cowboy boots. Guess Joe would be about 16 ,on Oh Boy show. Brilliant man.
As a train driver, I love Joe's music and the fact that he's "one of us" ;-)
TWO THINGS WILL NEVER CHANGE JOE YOUR TALENT AND YOUR HAIR STYLE .
He was refered to as Brush head by some
He's like the coolest grandad or uncle anyone could hope to have. And then he picks up his guitar and sings...wow!
The first time I ever heard of Joe Brown was on the Tribute to George Harrison DVD recording and loved his musical contribution and light-heartedness in such a sombre setting. That whole performance is amazing and he is one of the highlights. We never got any Joe Brown here in Canada as far as I know. There are many others like him who are almost unheard of here in Canada but have huge, loyal following back home in the UK. There are some British artists who made it here and I wish they would have stayed in the UK.
Joe Brown, the "Lincolnshire Cockney". A very talented musician and all round good guy.
I gave her my heart, but she wanted my soul.
One of the first British Invaders that had a country music to pop crossover in 1962’s “Picture Of You”. 👍👍👍
If anything, he sounds better now. What an artist and group !!!!!!! Been following him for fifty years.
One of my favourites from the sixties ! Love it !

1962 a fantastic year for modern pop music. many singers reached their peak in that year; johnny tilitson, bobby Vinton, ray Charles, pat boone, chubby checker, brian highland, the tornado, the shadows, neal sedaka, and many others and of course joe brown.
