Reason #1 should simply be "and then there were none"/"and then there was ben". Some of the best episodes in the whole series imo
I'd argue this ep had the most influence on the entire fanbase. Just look at how many alternate omnitrix/bens fanarts and videos you can find on the Internet (ben 79 being one of the most popular)
Honestly, who saw those episodes and didn't fantasize about owning an omnitrix with his fav colours??
@@N.I.A23when I watched those episodes, they made me believe that our universe is the one where I dont have an Omnitrix and all my parallel versions have one
The BEST episodes in entire franchise!
@@theamazingspooderman2697 😞
Nah, that doesn't work. Don't get me wrong, these *were* good episodes (and I'm saying this as someone who hates most of OV), but people could just watch these two episodes and not bother with the rest of the series, so that's hardly a reason to watch it all.
Derrick J. Wyatt really came up with some of the most iconic designs in fiction, from Teen Titans, to Transformers Animated, to Omniverse. R.I.P. to a legend
Wait, he died?!

Just the opening arc alone shows how much the show expands on usage of aliens by introducing the Nemetrix, giving each of Ben’s aliens a predator species. This helps immensely with worldbuilding too, showing how the biology and ecosystems for Ben’s aliens work and how they develop creatures to counter the abilities of Ben’s roster members.
the predator plotline doesn't really make sense tho. I mean real life animals are not defenseless against their predators, it's usually a relatively fair matchup.
@@matyaskassay4346 They. Are. ALIENS. They don't have to abide by realistic standards. Plus if they did then it would defeat the point and they'd just start being generic monsters
@@kanemccarthy1979 lol why are you so mad, it was just an observation. This is a show with sentient lego aliens, obviously I'm not expecting it to be realistic.
@@matyaskassay4346 bruh I'm not mad. I'm pointing out what's wrong with your statement

One of the main things in Omniverse that I do enjoy is Ben and Rook being great partners and a dynamic duo
I want more Rooters
Tummy Trouble really highlights their dynamic and characterization for me
I remember when Omniverse was first coming out I kinda didn't like him (even before the series started cuz I was sad Gwen and Kevin were "gone").
And sadly I fell off Ben 10 before I actually watched like 90% of Omniverse (mostly because of the awful airing times). But I did actually watch the entire series a few years back (rewatch from OG to UA and basically first Omniverse and Reboot watch) and Omniverse is now my favourite series and Rook is now probably my fav main team character that's alongside Ben. He's just so good
Big facts 💯
The only issue I have with Omniverse is Ben getting together with Kai. And boy Kai is at her worst in this series.
This series introduced my favorite villain in the whole franchise, Malware. I can watch him be menacing, entertaining and downright traumatizing in a lot of his scenes all day.
Also I really enjoy that he's voiced by Corey Burton, TFA Megatron himself.
Yeah, Malware might be the best villain the entire franchise. Shame he was so great he made all following OV villains look underwhelming by comparison.
Ah, fellow Malware enjoyer.
Malware and Khyber
Corey Burton is always a win, he elevates Malware from being a good villain to being a great villain
@@KraylebStudios he also voices Mr Bauman xd
The fact that Omniverse is over 10 year old already is incredibly scary to me. I remember watching the pilot when it started, and it feels more like 6 or 7 years ago.
I feel old lmao. Ultimate alien is 13 years old.
I grew up watching the Ben 10 franchise and I'm only 18!
Bro I only ever watched OG and couldn’t get into alien force that was like 2005 😞
I’ve been an Omniverse defender ever since I finished it way back in the day
And while the series definitely has it’s flaws, I’m glad that one of the forefront icons of the Ben 10 fanbase can recognize it as a show worthy of the legacy it inherited
Looking forward to the breakdowns
What about UAF, it had it's flaws too but it's also really good
@@SejfTrix i personally dont like AF. UA is a bit bettee but thats it. I think as Ben 10 fans we have to accept that all of the series have major flaws

Ov is what "Winter soldier" is for mcu.Fight choreography was goat!
@Yash Joshi Jee (22) that is..... incredibly accurate
Yeah, when I rewached those scenes I was on the edge of my seat,
Also, gravaattack, ultimate rath, kyber the huntman, the nematrix and predators.
@Vinjinichi but good thing is ben still had his old people because ledger domain was not destroyed
Omniverse is one of the shows that got me through high school and it’s been a core part of my online presence for the better part of six years.
Omniverse is a show with unhinged energy and well done charm that I couldn’t help but adore. 💚
Too old to be watching fucking kids shows, probably beating to Gwen.
Honestly, when I did my rewatch of the entire original timeline, I was most looking forward to finishing it with Omniverse, because it's my absolute favorite incarnation of the show.
The Feedback arc, the No Watch Ben two-parter and the last episode of Omniverse are my favourite parts out of all of Ben 10.
for me its the duel of the duplicates arc (albedo) the multiverse ben arc and ghostfreak's return.

No Watch ben; We learn you don't need powers to be a hero

Omniverse is perhaps my favorite Ben 10 series. I don’t know if it’s my Fascination of the multiverse in storytelling, maybe it’s my love for animation, or maybe it’s cause I just like having fun. I cannot wait for the breakdowns for this show. It is genuinely amazing
Why does Gwen have glasses

I don’t like it as much as AF, but I still enjoy it a lot
Every time I do a Ben 10 watch through, getting to Omniverse always feels like such a breath of fresh air after so many seasons of UAF. From art style and animation to the stories that range goofy and comedic to intense action packed.
EXACTLY. Omniverse is so much more fun than the previous two and it comes so close with the action to the classic as well
Omniverse honestly has most favorite moments in the series. "Its just a gaget, be the hero" and the talk with classic ben getting feedback back saying "lets save the beatdowns for the badguys, deal?" is my favorite lines in the series it just shows from the few years how much he grows so quickly.
It also has one of my saddest moments with feedback being erased by malware and seeing ben overload malware like that is badass and sad being one of the few only moments where ben intentionally wanted to kill someone.
Its a good show and I love it.
the backgrounds in Omniverse are absolutely stunning every time I draw a background I strive to make it look 5% as good as the ones in ov
It was all hand drawn apparently
I remember when I first discovered omniverse existed. As someone who only saw everything up to the second season of ultimate alien, I thought Ben 10 finished there, until I discovered omniverse entirely by accident and absolutely fell in love with it. It’s always what I look forwards too when rewatching Ben 10 from start to end, I can’t wait for the breakdowns of this series, hopefully people who disregarded it before may be turned around to just how expansive of an addition this show really was
I had almost the exact same experience, that's wild.
There's also the reboot but we don't talk about that.
Seriously, the soundtrack of Omniverse is amazing, it hurts me so much that they never released it
SPOILER
The song that plays when Ben finds the Omni-trix for the first time again it's so beatiful that i almost cry from the nostalgia of the scene, that song is basically unforgettable for me now
Same
Same man. Chills every time.
literally my favourite scene
I love the soundtrack in the last eps when ben switching to every aliens while holding that universe-scaled bomb & the moment before ben transform to alien x & survive that bomb while the universe got deleted, ben said something like "i dont want goop & stinkfly, just give me something so we can make it out alive", that serious tone are my favorite
The Feedback theme song goes hard. As well as the fan made, we got some heroing to do theme.
Omniverse really made me love alien x, he had his moments in uaf but the moments in ov really made him stand out much more interesting
alien force; just establishes Alien X's existence
Ultimate Alien; just establishes Alien X can do anything
Omniverse; lets us know Alien X is Omnipiant

UAF art style was the best
@@consciousworld9161 uaf artstyle was the worst
I've always preferred shows with more stylized art styles, because not only does it help the show have its own style, the animation always ends up being better.
Oh that’s understandable and yeah everyone has a preference when it comes to that💙glad to see some people enjoy this one fr 🔥 both styles or so have their own stuff anyway
Absolutely.
Agree, most of the crowd who didn't like OV art-style are just edgy babies who think that dark (and blend) UAF art-style is more "mature" than OV art-style, because more colors=baby cartoons for them and they are scared to be percieved as someone who "likes children cartoons" as they think, even though OV is more expressive, vibrant and creative.
@@Omnigreen I mean I'm not an "edgy baby", I just prefer much more realistic art style and many others are probably the same, and that's the difference

Love Omniverse's background the most. There's actual people around and not just when convenient
I will always give this show credit for making Alien X cool.
Without this series, Alien X would’ve definitely been a D or C tier alien..

I NEEDED this video because whenever people don't think Omniverse is worth watching I can't explain how and why I love Omniverse so much.
omniverse is one of the most underrated things ever
Omniverse is just a goody pack of entertainment, good story line, emotional moments, some of the large major redemption arcs revolving around some important characters, answering to the question that were unsolved in previous series …..its just perfect OP🔥🔥🔥
Omniverse is pretty much a massive improvement for the Ben 10 series. The animation & character design (well, most of it) is brilliant. The story arcs are very entertaining, and the ending is pretty good and a perfect send-off for the original series.
Also one of the best things OV has done is Ben and Julie broke up. While she may have been flanderized but it was in a good way
This series would've been legendary if it wasn't for it's art style
Nah there is sooo many things wrong with it ,so overhyped
Agree completely
@@mattt115Overhyped?! Bro, Omniverse is hated (unjustly). It only started to become liked when Reboot happened.
By the time I finally got to Omniverse, as the finale to my series binge, I was well aware of the mixed reception of the show. It's been a few years since then, so some of the details of the show are a bit fuzzy, but I recall something I enjoyed. That was how much Rook grew on me. I didn't dislike him at the start. I thought he was alright. By even the midpoint, I found myself loving Rook as a character. By the end, he was as important to me as the usual trio.
I rewatched OV 5 months ago. It definitely made me appreciate the show more.
I already liked Omniverse, but this video made me appreciate it even more

Omniverse feels like an open world RPG - game. Meeting new worlds and characters untangling the story slowly and in a satisfying way.
The art style feels unique
I'd really love to see a follow up to omniverse that's not a reboot. Maybe we could finally see Ben 20 years later, or to follow the ink tank, 5 years later. I mean, we've been getting reboots and sequels to shows that came out forever ago lately, so having a Ben 10 one wouldn't feel out of place
Man, if we can get iCarly why can we not get Ben in his 20s... and then the PRIME BEN 10K!!!! Fuck, I want it so bad.

I grew up with Omniverse. I do like the other series of the Ben 10 franchise but whenever I see Ov, I feel those moments I saw in my childhood. Moreover, every time I rewatch it I find something new. Every scene is so detailed, I love staring at the backgrounds of every scene for hrs. Though this series has its shortcomings, it's a fun ride to go from ep 1 to ep 80
As one of many who has watched everything, from Classic, to all the movies(minus Reboot), to Omniverse...its always worth a watch. Thinking about a third run through of every episode
Ben 10 Classic - Balanced
Ben 10 Alien Force - Too Dark
Ben 10 Ultime Alien - Too Comedic/Funny focus
Ben 10 Omniverse - Balanced.
Ben's leitmotif introduced in OV is and will always be one of my favourite pieces of music to go along with his from the Classic Series
Watched Omniverse as it was airing on CN and enjoyed a lot! Rewatched it about 2 years ago and still enjoyed it after rewatching the whole series.
Kurt definitely hit the bail on the head with points like how colorful and expressive the artstyle is, fun characters for the most part, and Ben using almost every alien he has in his arsenal.
Omniverse is definitely very inconsistent in its quality, but, after liking the original series for a while, I eventually pretty definitively landed on Omniverse as my favorite. Its heights are great, and the scifi world built on its past exposures to aliens is unrivaled fun.
So happy and excited that the OV Breakdowns are happening and I'm hoping more people give Omniverse the love it deserves.
Omniverse really felt like the Ben 10 team figured out the balance between the seriousness of early AF and the fun of the OG with a lot of new charm and improvements. It wasn't perfect but was my favorite among the prime series.
Also I Rook so much. Ben having a pure alien partner who doesn't have any powers and is just a really good fighter was amazing. Rook even improved on the trio dynamic (IMHO). In my ideal world Omniverse would have gotten a final continuation series with the trio along with Rook embarking on a year long trip across the universe for Ben's 18th birthday (and maybe Max along for the ride).
I.... don't really get that. Technically speaking there was no balance; regardless of the quality itself, Omniverse was way goofier than *either* AUF or the Original Series. The Original series sure had fun and silly moments but it never got as cartoonish as OV did.
..... Rook *was* awesome though.
@@Theokal3when did it got cartoonish?
I’ll try and break it down as best I can. So after UAF, Ben has so much battle experience and he just wants to have as normal a life as he possibly can get. At this point, the events in classic seem like a relief for him compared to what he had to deal in UAF. Also, he’s now very popular and also most importantly, he has a new watch with all his aliens he ever had and more to use. His character is also I’ve been here done it before type of thing so nothing fazes him too much. He is living a bit of his classic series life with his UAF experience. The show also emphasizes that he’s just 16 not a grown adult as UAF made them seem at times. All this combined with the fact we often see younger Ben which reminds us how much prime ben has grown but is still a kid makes me appreciate omniverse so much
@@SamirSiraj8542 You mean where did it *not* get cartoonish? For starter, most of the quirky comic relief characters such as Pax, Rad Dudesman, or Blucick and Driba would look rather out of place in the original show. Same for some Aliens such as Molestache and Bloxx. Or small details like the aliens feeling Undertown in Frogs of War having for some reason their baggage *outside* their ships. Even when it got silly (such as the Chrismas and Megawatt episode), the OG Ben 10 usually kept something of a grounded angle, which I feel isn't very present in OV. When I watch the Original Series, I feel like I'm watching a world relatively like ours, only with crazy silver age stuff going on. When I watched OV, it feels more like I'm watching something akin to Looney Tunes.
@@sancho608 ov has a world with so many new things. Of course, it will feel different
I was never a fan of Omiverse when I was a kid- but after watching all the breakdowns you inspired me to give it a chance and I really enjoyed it for what it is and have had a lot of fun with it! Can’t wait for the future omiverse breakdowns!
I'm surprised you didn't put the really cool shot where Ben transforms against the WayBads when talking about the animation. That scene is done so well, and the way Ben's hair flows with the wind along with his facial expression really sells how confident Ben is.
yeah thats the same face in the thumbnail, it's from that shot
@@theamazingspooderman2697 oh I didn't see it because it was mirrored
I really like that Omniverse shows plenty of transformations in each episode unlike the original series and UAF which would usually limit themselves to 1-2 transformations each episode. Really liked that Omniverse made the limiter a much less used story tool, making it really common for Ben to leave a transformation and go right into another form right after.
I used to hate DJW for Transformers Animated, growing up with Cybertron (the jarring transition from 3d models to straight cartoon), but once I gave the story a shot, holy hell it was an amazing ride. The ideas were fresh, characters were expressive and unique, the side cast were rarely ignored, and all those are true in Omniverse as well. Highly recommend

Always loved Omniverse the most, from the first episode I saw in 2012, was in love in the vibrant art-style and character designs especially.
Omniverse came out at a time where i stopped watching TV and basically replaced it with RUclips. I believe i caught only the first season, i definitelly remember watching the whole "Alien X reconstructs the universe" bit. I thought it was fine, i liked it was more vibrant and colorful than the previous two shows, but i didn't think much of it at the time.
It wasn't until recent years, thanks to your History of Ben 10 videos, that reawakened my interest in the series, and motivated me to finally watch OV till the end. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, some seasons way better than the others, but incredibly enjoyable all throuought, and i would have missed out on it if it weren't for your work.
I am currently about halfway through watching Omniverse for the first time and I absolutely love it. As someone who is watching the entire saga in a pretty short amount of time, I honestly feel like it's cohesive and Ben's character development feels natural to me. I know a lot of people disagree with that, but I think it's important to remember that Ben in UA is nearly identical to OV. He can be a little obnoxious at times, but who at that age isn't? Especially when they are the most famous person on the planet with the most powerful weapon in the universe.
I also don't mind the artstyle. It's not as good as the original series or UAF, but it is very vibrant and I enjoy it a lot. Rook is a great addition, as well. I thought I was not going to like him at first, but he's actually a really good balance to Ben's over-enthusiasm. Overall, it's an excellent show, and I would highly recommend it. Great video, btw!
Speaking of Ben's personality in OV
I love on how its balanced which make it very engaging.
@@Waqas_Khan02 Yes!! I totally agree! He normally doesn't take anything seriously (because nothing and no one really threatens him under normal circumstances) but he is serious when he needs to be.

You know I actually enjoyed this video because my favorite Ben 10 series is Ben 10 Omniverse, but I've never been able to fully explain to people (and understand myself) why I like it so much. Thanks to this video, I can do that now.
Omniverse has always interested me the most with there being their own version of a multiverse, a concept I'm always down for, I think it looks great, sounds great, and above all, for me and a lot of people, maybe not everyone, it gives a satisfying finale to the not just that Season or the entry, but the entire Ben 10 franchise
Derrick J Wyatt’s art style for the series was freaking awesome .
Really? It was such a turn off for e after the other series I just couldn’t continue watching
Well said man. While I still have my issues with Omniverse, such as the the Kevin retcons and everything regrading Ben's "harem", I've definitely grown to appreciate it a lot more overtime. The series has by far my favourite overall aesthetic of all five series (barring a few redesigns) and is definitely a step up in terms of animation quality and environment design from UA. The cast of new characters introduced alongside returning faces help to make the feel the universe so much more alive, and overall it's just the easiest show in the original continuity to just put on, kick back and have fun with.
The show that introduced me to this channel

Yeah the world building is one of the reasons I absolutely love Omniverse, involving all the other worlds in the universe like the Tetramand homeworld is just awesome.
8:42 is just an amazing moment, seeing where it all began after all those years was just incredible, especially with that music, and then seeing the omniverse art style replicate the first transformation into heatblast, just... wow.
Also it wasn't just Alien X that got an incredible feet, Way Big got an awesome feet when he matched and surpassed the blast of an Incursion Conquest Ray, firmly solidifying him as a Planet level threat, also Ben definitively directly killed every Incursion on that vessel since only the emperor escaped the blast.
I love it I like how Ben’s characterisation is a bit more consistent
He may be consistent, but that doesn't make him a good character.
@@mayotango1317 why ben isn't a good character in your opinion
@@shriramka8061 If you compare him to the Ben from the "Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United" crossover, written by his creator Man of Action, the Omniverse Ben is an exaggerated flanderization of the kid Ben but without his redeeming qualities that made him tolerable.

The art style is actually what caused me to miss out on Omniverse, because it made me think they had _rebooted the show_ and we were back to 10-year-old Ben again (only for them to _actually_ reboot the show later on and in an actually TTG-style way). I'm looking forward to watching the breakdowns and finally fixing this gap in my knowledge of the series 👀
That's awesome! I've been doing that same thing. I finally gave it a chance and enjoyed majority of seasons 1-2. Looking forward to watching the rest.
Unfortunately they did exactly that with the 2016 reboot and uh, it kinda sucks tbh, it has some neat stuff don’t get me wrong. But it’s mid at best.
Omniverse has the best storylines, ost, and dialogues. Tell me a better line than "It's just a gadget, be the hero"
OV's always been my favourite and I've always found so much to love about it. Happy to see Kuro analysing these points
You've convinced me. Now i gotta watch it again all the way through!
I still have hope they'll make a ben 10k show
Hope you enjoy it!
That omniverse breakdown intro is sick!!! I personally love omniverse. The music is great and it’s overall a fun time while still supplying great storylines. The “omniverse war” is the best depiction of the multiverse I’ve seen.
I think the 11nd reason to watch ben 10 Omniverse is that Ben's personality is at it's best. He's written more consistently and they capitalize on his best and worst traits and allow him to most importantly have FUN AGAIN! He becomes more relatable and acts and looks his age and just becomes more of a joy to watch on screen
I mean u heard the intro
"He's a kid and he wants to have fun"
"But when u need a superhero he gets the job done"
He’s called out when he needs to be, early on Rook does express his frustrations with Ben and he’s never invalidated for what he says.
Plus Ben in Omniverse had reasons to do nothing but just chill out since Dagon was defeated, Vilgax was nowhere to be seen and he got the official omnitrix by Azmuth
I know that you have been counting miss transformations but even that has been shown under a different light in omniverse. If you pay attention to the faceplate you can sometimes just watch him choose the wrong alien. Which I think is a very unique touch.
Ben 10 Omniverse will always be proof to me that people hate change
I actually do hate change lol,, I’m proof of that. I watched every episode of OV and I hate it more than I did before.
@@ultimatezayman what do you hate about it ?
@@ultimatezayman omniverse was better than alien force and ultimate alien
@@banano2210 its easy to answer that, NPC
@@banano2210 the retcons, ben's harem, artstyle, some of the character designs, fight choreography, some character quirks, sfx used for the new aliens, some of the soundtrack, haha-funny endings to serious episodes causing a tonal whiplash, how incompotent ben seemed with most of his aliens with most of them doing barely nothing before he's forced to change back, the theme song, especially the "spooky" remix, the two "tech support" galvans, etc.
I watched the original series when I was a kid and Omniverse in my teen's, and I love Omniverse so much more than the original, I love Ben personality, Rook is such a good character and the stories were so cool to watch, and it has such a good art stlye, i love how dynamic everything looks
My favorite thing about Omniverse would definitely have to be the redesign of some of Ben's aliens such as Shocksquatch, Diamondhead, and Four Arms.
found another one who likes Four Arms design, onr thing I like the most is this Four Arms started growing spikes on his shoulder too, just like his future version
I actually hated Diamondhead's redesign, the arms are too long and it looks super lanky, Fourarms too, looks less buff compared to his previous designs, but somehow the forearms are extremely buff, not a fan of the moustache too
Shocksquatch is ok, but I despise his accent
OV is definitely worth watching. I've watched it from beginning to end and yea, what Kuro says is true. Sure, there's a few episodes or moments that are off-putting for a lot of old fans but it also has some of the best scenes & arcs in the prime continuity. Also, it might have the best ending of all four series.
I’ve been a HUGE Omniverse hater for YEARS, ever since it came out when I was 10… just started rewatching it and I’m fucking loving it. Thank you for making this video.
Almost finished now. Just got done with the Servantis arc. What a ride
Really happy to see this video from you. Omniverse was always my favorite series, and you hit most of the reasons why. I absolutely love Rook and the worldbuilding in OV. The alien underground and integration with Earth's cultures is something I always wanted from a lot of other series, but Ben 10 was the first one that really took the concept and ran with it in a satisfying way.
11:00 Kuro, the Breakdown intros are so good. My mind was blown with the custom UA opening featuring your purple ultimatrix. But now you’ve got concept art? The different hair styles? Your character model transitioning into your face cam for the breakdowns? 10/10 all around. I’m so excited for the Omniverse breakdowns!!
Saw this video awhile back and it inspired me to watch omniverse after I was biasedly avoiding it, I just finished the last episode today and was not disappointed, it was amazing. Id go as far as to say it was better than both AF and UAF
When i was a kid and used to watch Ben 10 on TV, Omniverse was a letdown to me. I didn't hated it completely and actually enjoyed some episodes but overall it was a mixed bag. But after watching the series in fixed production order as an adult made me fall in love. In fact it's my favorite series out of all of them now. The lore, storytelling & characters are simply amazing.
The whole arc on Anur Transyl alone is one of my fave parts of Omniverse. The whole planet is wonderfully designed, and it's nice to see planets with multiple different yet similar alien species living on it as opposed to a "Planet of the Hats" style typically done.
By sheer contrast, though, the Gourmands routinely eating their homeworld and then barfing off into the stars is simultaneously disgusting and beautiful.
Ben, I hope you realize that we don't have much time before the incursean forces find us.
OV definitely has its fair share of flaws and had some controversial decisions outside form the art style. But when it takes risks, expands on something new or old and goes all out from the series. It's worth every moment as a Ben 10 fan to watch OV. See you next week on the OV Breakdown episodes.
I moved back to my hometown as my family moved out of my childhood home when Omniverse aired (fully localized and voiced in our native language may I add). So this series is very special to me and I actually love it equally as it’s 3 predecessors ❤
I love seeing Omniverse get love. It was my second favorite Ben 10 show growing up
Omniverse was the only time I got teared up watching Ben 10. It was during the series finale and I won’t spoil what was, but as a long time fan it was a moment that I never knew I wanted. Omniverse has plenty of these moments, and is well worth the watch. It gives a lot of closure to the series
*Ben 10: Omniverse* is one of the best series in the *Ben 10* franchise.
No
@@alos197 lol
@@alos197 I think ov has set higher bar of ben 10 which even surpass best classic episodes such as then there was none.
In end really none of the ben 10 series can be called the best because they have their own flaws. classic had problems with season 3 and 4 and ben being jerk in later seasons. Gwen being annoying characters at times
Alien force - season 3 was mid, animation was downgrade and retcons of magic was bad.
Ua - mid fillers, animation was worse than af and had few good things like aggregor arc
ov - jokes, retcons, and characterization
Yes definitely
2:58 “So captivating it’s hard not to look away” I don’t think this makes sense correct me if I’m wrong. That aside, this video was an absolute treat and genuinely gave me chills thinking about how much I love Omniverse and the inspiration it’s given me as an artist. Can’t wait for the breakdowns!
I was looking if someone else caught onto that before posting a comment. Yeah, that's definitely not right.
Omniverse is so underrated, people get upset just because of the redesigns, which blinds them to think it's a bad series
Really perfectly brought into words why this series was my favorite. I cannot wait to get through the breakdowns with the upcoming videos.
when i finally watch OV when you guys started your breakdowns 2 years ago it quickly became my favorite ben 10 series as well as the one with the most memorable moments its truly an amazing conclusion to Ben Prime, it gave me a new appreciation for ben 10 that i had slowly been falling out of whenever i thought back to the end of UA
As a Ben 10 fan and music nerd, I'm really happy you took the time to mention the music, specifically Ben's leitmotif. It's so satisfying to listen to in all its varied uses! Breaks my heart that we can't officially listen to them outside of the show.
Omniverse was always my favorite Ben 10 show. And it being like Transformers Animated only makes it better.
Finally some positivity surrounding OV
Recently started OV for the first time (I originally dropped after the Ulitimate Kevin arc in UA). I finished the first 10 episodes and I’m excited to see where it goes!
First season is not bad in the airing order but I suggest watching it in the production order from now, since it's the superior watching experience.
@@erikpng I’ve been making sure to keep an eye on that after I watched the Dagon arc out of sequence due to airing order. But thanks for the suggestion!
@@SplashCity46 like, there's continuity errors and episodes get moved around seasons.
And don't forget the fact that every episode have more transformation then the first 3 shows.
I always love to watch Ben choosing an alien and then half a second later he is turning into Mole-Stache or Toepick or Humungousaur with so fluid animation that makes my eye teared up.
yeah and the trade off?
make some aliens , and ben by extension, look weak and incompetent
usually he just turns into something, do 1 thing, get pummeled, forced to change back, then repeat with another alien. Rarely does his aliens feel like powerhouses compared to previous seasons, even when fighting against d-tier villains
Omniverse introduced Feedback, who’s easily one of my favorite aliens, so yeah. It’s definitely worth your time.
Kuro knows he’s reaching the end of Ben prime so the sound that’s plays at the end of the breakdown intro is similar to the one that played at the end of the classic breakdown intros
I can't wait for him to go bald at the finale episode of omniverse so comes full circle.
I like how omniverse did ultimate aliens better then the show that was made FOR them😅
This series is my favorite, the transformations look better than alien force, and match the classic series, the art style is nice, the music is great, and the story’s great.
Aside than that Omniverese the best animation, charcter development, ben centered arcs, plus it fits new people watching the show a lot more
OV might not be perfect, but man, does it have so much to offer good and bad, and I can't wait till the breakdowns.
Because of Kuro reigniting my love for this series over a year ago, I started watching OV for the first time ever a few weeks ago when we started nearing the end of the Ultimate Alien breakdowns so that I could follow along with the Omniverse ones. I caught a few eps when it first came out but I fell off Ben 10 at about that time and the changes ushered me out. But as I’m going back to watch it with my reignited Ben 10 love, I am LOVING OV so much, I find that I’m liking it even more than the latter half of UAF. The animation is literally gorgeous. Yea the character redesigns took some getting used to, but the actual animation style and fight scenes and backgrounds are so so so good. And I like the humor and serious mix of it too.
Are you watching it in production order?
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 I’ve just been watching it on whatever order HBO Max has it in.
@@levydeat hmm. Well enjoy it. Something's might be out of order though.
@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 Oh really??? I didn’t know that. I’m just through season 1 right now. Barely a couple eps into season 2
I would catch the odd episode here and there or get a random DVD for a season of one of the previous shows, but it was Omniverse where I would consistently watch episodes week after week when they came out. This series is what truly got me into Ben 10 as a whole, so I'm glad videos like this exist to show what people are missing out on by overlooking it
Omniverse is the series that made me a fan and I still think it holds up to this day
Omniverse is actually my favorite in the series
