Is no one gonna mention the fact that Vilgax legitimately took time outta his days to memorize Ben's alien's names? Despite him being a villain, I've grown respect for him after that.
It's such a small, but fun piece of worldbuilding, as he obviously knows their actually names, I like to think it comes from a degree of respect towards Ben that he instead uses the names Ben made up

But in alien force he kinda see ben as a rival and in this series he had so many chances to kill ben but didn't and in most cases when it came to taking the watch from ben he was pretty fair about it
The best thing about Ben 10 moving to Alien Force and then making way for Ultimate Alien was that it grew WITH me.. as a pre teen, to a teenager, to a young adult... I could resonate with the characters, and the development.. Omniverse just took it wayyy back into the pre-teen years, and just lost me as a fan

Omniverse is one of my favorite ben ten series. Most the people who hate on it or call it bad just haven't watched. Their entire opinion is just based on the art style.
I would say what killed Ben 10 was Art direction, Animation direction and finally poor story telling. Ben 10 original up to ultimate alien was solid. it had some bad episodes like every tv show, but it had a lot of good ones. Omniverse and reboot killed Art direction+Animation. as far story telling is concerned, it was good till ben 10 alien force s1, than it did tell good stories... but in wrong order. I think the reason why entire series died was because the target audience for cartoon network was around 8-10, but the show after Ultimate alien had to advance to a more mature audience to continue for when ben turns 17-18 but it couldn't as the network wasn't targeting that mature of an audience so it just died into kids show with bad graphics. If you ask me, they should just reboot the show to ultimate Alien graphics and just expand story until it comes close to Ben 10,000 though most likely, all actors and producers are long gone.
Joseph Shurina I remember Alien Force S2 being the last time Ben 10 had genuine character development. Season 3 reversed Ben 10 from learning to be responsible to being just as cocky and arrogant as from the original show. Ultimate and Omniverse only reinforced the issues present from the end of Alien Force and Omniverse also ruined the art direction. The original crowd from the original show and pre-S3 Alien Force was growing old and tired of the franchise and the lack of innovation.
Ben 10 classic was, and is still the best Ben 10 series. The aliens were believable, the art style was awesome, the fights were sick and Vilgax was terrifying.
ben 10 classic is amazing, but the ending was fucking awful, and i hated how he had to reset his onnitrix after he figured out the master code, basically taking away anything he learned throughout the series beforehand
I partly agree because I loved it and the vilgax thing that I hate they didn't even make relevant after some seasons was the classic Robust muscle mode he went into. Those slender things would go in and muscles grew. I still remember jumping and stomping the ground when I first saw it. It scared and amazed me. (I was 6yo then)
The new teen titans isn't hated because of art style, it's hated because it became a baby show, the art style is a small part in a much much larger problem, in the new teen titans they went to a more episodic show with no main story that doesn't take itself seriously, unlike the old show that keep a steady plot with a few filler episodes but took itself serious with still being able to tell a joke or make a gag(one the wasn't about butts or legs or robin's baby hands); also for me I didn't care about the art style change for ben 10 I just didn't like that ben looked like a kid again when he's supposed to be aging forward
Honestly the style doesn't mesh for me as well. Uncle max looks freakishly similar to peter griffon and that makes me uncomfortable in all sorts of ways.

I tried to watch Cartoon network again only to see cartoon that doesn't make sense to me(I don't know anyone else) like adventure time and gumball(some people liked it so pls spare me the critics this is in my opinion) that has a story that doesn't make sense. Cartoon network's cartoons tried to reach more kids as the video says but the story has become uglier. The only show that I could appreciate now is tom and jerry(though I love the original one) and oggy in cartoon network(I forgot if it is still there bcoz it is a year ago since I last watch cartoons)
I like how Ben matured in Alien Force. I though it was cool to see newer aliens in his arsenal and him just maturing out from his old self was something that I liked as a kid back then, and even now.
If Omniverse didn't make Ben relearn his old lessons so frequently, I'd say I appreciate that he goes back to having fun with his hero time after everything UAF put him through

So, I'm probably looking too far into this, but screw it. Ben has never fully stabbed anyone (Minus robots) I'm pretty sure, because he doesn't never kill and usually shows mercy. I think Vilgax knew this, and was very surprised that Ben actually stabbed him instead of doing something else that's not as lethal which in my opinion would give him a good reason to be surprised.
The art style from Omniverse is way better than UA, UAFs art style only works at nighttime, and the animation is really robotic with the designs being very flat, Omniverse is way better, having complex, expressive and fun designs both for animation and design
Ben 10 will always be one of the greatest childhood cartoons of all time even if it dies away. We are lucky to be there when it was at its prime! Kids these days know nothing...

Honestly, i was really skeptical about Omniverse before i watched it. I kinda judged it without having seen it so i went many years without watching it at all, but last year i watched all the ben 10 shows (exept for the reboot) and i just fell in love with omniverse. No joke. Love the art style, the plot and the characters. Also i loved the flashbacks and the Malware arc. Feedback is awesome. I can totally see how some people dont like omniverse as much as the rest of the series, and i was one of them, but then i watched it. It is amazing. Only thing is that some of the filler episodes arent great but its a solid and very good show, and i definitely think it can stand side by side with the 3 other Ben prime shows.

On the Bloxx thing, I thought he was meant to be another one of those sentient non-organic beings like Echo Echo. I could see Bloxx being a type of drone that assisted in construction or temporary buildings. Him being made of a durable but self replicating bricks that interlocked and could be easily disassembled.

As a kid watching Alien Force, I always found myself saying "that wasn't how it worked!" I was really bothered by the change in Kevin and Gwen's powers, and it really hampered my enjoyment of the series. It wasn't until years later that I gave the show a second chance, and I did like it for the most part, but it still felt a little disconnected.
Powers and personality in Kevin's case. Had they gone a proper route for developing Kevin and connecting him with Gwen, I would have been all for it. But from the beginning he just pops in as the "totally reformed bad guy" who also happens to be the boyfriend of Gwen. This is the guy that actively tried to murder both of them as kids and is presented in a future episode as an inevitable villain in the making (before the whole multiverse thing happened). You dont just put this kind of person as part of a team with some trust issues and only blame his alien genetics later, increasing even more the inconsistencies in his personality. Kevin needed to earn his place alongside Ben and Gwen, to have stronger ups and downs from the beginning of Alien Force so it fell he could overcome the fate that waited him in an alternate timeline. As for Gwen, yeah I miss the times she was a witch in the making and the world wasnt revolving almost entirely about Aliens.
Nah it was awesome Kevin's power makes sense and Gwen is better , i hate the whole magic thing it makes thing cheese, her having the new power is 100× better
I really like when gwen gets her own powers, and kevin also has cool powers that he develops as the plot continues. It sorta shows how ben doesnt have an unfair advantage over gwen and kevin, and they are special in their own way. It also tells me that gwen and kevin are sharing the burden of saving the city countless times, like they are there for him. Of course this was just a way to forge a new team with kevin and gwen, but they really developed it into a very creative way which (more or less) aligns with the plot, of course I am ignoring the fact that a simple welding torch could hold back gwen, sadly scenes like those had really ruined the show.
I remember the movie "The Final Battle" where the Omnitrix gets destroyed and Ben takes the new Ultimatrix from Evil Ben ( I forgot his name) being shown before the premiere of UA.
Ben also had a good thing going with his girlfriend Julie, like a legit mature understanding and cooperation. But the show runners threw that away and made the breakup scene the dumbest most random afterthought of a scene I've ever witnessed. I got whiplash from how sharply Ben's character changed.
It really pissed me off when they replaced her in omniverse with Kai... I really thought she was interesting, I wish they went farther with her and I wished she and Ben stayed together.. :(

I think the only reason why that happened is because kai was in the original Ben 10 and became husband and Wife in the future... I could be wrong though.

This is just a sad comment. And I say it because you might be right. Not by the reasons showed in the video, but because the main writter Dwayne McDuffie died. If you watch the last episode, there will be a tribute to him. I can't stop thinking his death hit hard the creators from man of action and led them to do what is happening now. Just think of it. After Ben 10 UA and Generator Rex, what other things Man of Action did? Ben 10 Omniverse, Ben 10 reboot and that ugly bad written generic Megaman cartoon called Megaman Fully Charged. The whole studio died with Dwayne.
I really feel bad for Dwayne's death. Because not only he did Justice League Unlimited and Static Shock and all the other shows I mentioned before. He also did Teen Titans. And seeing teen titans go makes me feel insulted. What makes Dwayne's stories special is how he treats it. Besides being something for kids, or young teens, he always tryied to put important stuff. Racism, politics, media. And also some well thought plots or some nice background. Even Ben 10 classic or teen titans being far as serious or intelligent than JLU, he still made it feel relatable, not rediculous and would often give an insight lver the characters. And I believe he left this legacy. The legacy that "being for kids" doesn't mean it has to be stupid.
Alien force came out when I was 9. Even then I remember enjoying the transition between the show and alien force, I knew that the show matured a bit and I wanted to mature with it. If Ben could go from being an immature rebellious kid to someone who can teach others right and wrong, I though a shy kid like me could become like that as well.
Exactly! I was the same way, and I believe kids of today would be the same way today. I don't know why media tries to dumb down shows to appeal to younger kids. I believe kids would enjoy in depth plots and good character development just as much as I do. I mean look at shows like Avatar the Last Airbender. It was aimed at kids and is considered one of the best cartoons of all time. It didn't treat kids as babies.

So, he was his most mature in the first two seasons of alien force. Ultimate alien, he gets more immature. Omniverse, he gets even MORE immature, and even is drawn to look sort of younger. In the new show, he's now a kid. He's basically Benjamin Button.

Being a child that had watched every ben 10 versions, I was 8 or 9 when Ben 10 omniverse had ended. I must say that I had enjoyed the stories that each version had told, they are all enjoyable and was just amazing to tie everything, watching young Ben 10 grow up with me as I was growing up aswell was enjoyable. 15 yr old Ben was really great to see to have matured, even though some episodes just loose every development and maturity, I stayed because I want to watch Ben's story end and how he grows up. In omniverse, I really enjoyed it very much because at that point I was starting to be mature also and can follow a story very well, Ben here is a bit laid back at the start, but when the story is picking up, Ben matured (I think) and my 8 yr old self was all for that story, and when Ben defeated the villain (sorry I forgot his name), I was genuinely happy for Ben. He really matured and saving different planets not just earth, fighting off Kevin one last time, and rounding out the story when Ben got his "favorite" alien back and then instead of goofing off, he used the alien to help him, showing maturity. I didn't really watch the episodes where he just goofs up, or fight some villain that serve no purpose to the story. I only vaguely remember watching 12 seconds of an episode where the lego gorilla featured in because it was just too boring. And when monsters came in, I stopped watching it
I feel like there’s a middle ground for his character in Alien Force. I like AF, but one of the issues I had was that Ben was too serious. I understand why he had to mature, but it just felt off that only Kevin was the one who would lighten the mood up. I think they could’ve had it where Ben acts tolerably goofy when he’s relaxing with his friends and family, but then knows when it’s time to get serious. AF and Ultimate Alien had him acting on only the opposite sides.
My theory on the change in season 3 is simply that, in universe, he was just finally relaxing, so he backslid a bit, which isn't inherently bad writing. He was under an enormous mountain of stress all throughout Alien Force up until that point, so him finally getting to relax after the Highbreed invasion causing him to overcorrect into old bad habits isn't the hardest thing to imagine. Is it jarring tonally? Yes. Is it unreasonable? Not particularly. Omniverse, in contrast, feels like a backslide past season 3 Alien Force Ben, and possibly even past original series Ben's earliest days, becoming less and less competent and serious. I'd say that's what people should rag on, not so much Season 3 of alien Force.

Omniverse’s art style isn’t bad, in fact it looks pretty good. It’s just some of the new alien designs and the character redesigns suck. Like Gwen got pointy glasses for some reason, Kevin regressed into his emo design, Grandpa Max’s eyes are nearly non existent, Big Chill got a big chest, and many aliens look like non-organic lifeforms like robots or objects (something that shouldn’t happen because they’re supposed to be aliens).

The old Ben 10 feels different. (Classic Ben 10 to ultimate alien). The vibe is completely different and it truly takes you to another world. The other series are just normal kid shows that you just play to keep your kid busy.

Honesty. I have huge respect for Vilgax. He isn't trying to.kill Ben. He just wants the watch. Especially in alien force. Vilgax was more of a rival. Plus the fact that Vilgax memorized Ben's made up names instead of calling the aliens by there home world names.
As well as K2 is in Italy. Something like 20 or 10 years ago cartoons and animes were on one of the most popular channels in my country. Then some of then were moved on other channels like K2, and it was ok, but now there are marathons of nonsenses and new cartoons which are so dumb to me. The only one which can save is Pokemon sun and moon, but the theme sucks and characters are drawn in a way that to me makes them ridiculous. I feel like Everytime creators try to Aim for a younger audience all over again they alienate (no pun intended) the people who watched the show for what it was. Others just stop the show completely (like young Justice and Teen Titans)
Reasons why I don't adore Omniverse 1. The overall tone of this part is too drastically changed from darker tone of Ultimate Alien to the more kid-friendly tone of this one. It just seems silly. The same can be said for the art style. 2. Gwen and Kevin really lost their importance in Omniverse. They and Ben had gone through so many things together and in Omniverse they were just replaced with Rook, tho I kinda started liking him later on Still, I think the writing for Omniverse is actually great. The story arcs are enjoyable and have more diversity compared to the previous installations. I enjoy it a lot more when I just treat Omniverse as its own story, not as a sequel to Ultimate Alien.
But I think that's the point of all the changes Omniverse made: it's something completely different from AF/UA and shouldn't be exactly treated as a sequel. It's more like an alternate reality than a sequel.

Another minor complaint I have about Omniverse Ben is how they make him way more skilled than he should be as a regular 16-year old. There's this episode where he dodges a beam from Albedo in his evolved form. I don't care how good you are at predicting moves, you shouldn't be able to react faster than an evolved alien from one of the smartest species around.
Bad news, dodging a shot is ultimately a game of chance. You must aim where you think a person will be and to dodge you must think where they aim without being predictable. Intelligence also doesn't confer reaction speed, having a higher reaction speed would trump intelligence.
Jero Valentin Yes I just rewatched the last season, I loved generator Rex at the time it was a breath of fresh air compared to ben 10 alien force. At the time it aired was my favorite animated action show and it really was the first time I was aware of the way cartoon Network treated it's shows, I had to go find the episodes I missed not having a proper end to Rex journey thinking I missed episodes and caused the ending to be confusing because I missed some :(
Rabid Garchomp I still liked what they did with Six's memory loss though. He didn't just get his memory back and he was a somewhat different person from then on. It wasn't fully explored but it was still done decently.
Ghost Freak always gives me chill when he appears back when I was younger. From his appearance, voice, as well as abilities. And when he rebelled out from the omnitrix, that chill got doubled.

I remember watching that one episode where he had 11 year old Gwen nearly fall off a building after he possessed her. That wasn't cool at all because it was a sign of suicide but of course Ben could have saved with any other alien. I think what cartoon Network needs to do is release the rights to the old Ben 10 where we see 21 year old Ben go in time to stop Ghostfreak from hacking the universe or do something that would catch our attentions again for a new Ben 10 movie for Teenage fans and up.let the kids like the young reboot.

I also remember when Gwen went back in time to prevent me from hacking my omnitrix, but then for whatever reason, Charmcaster ruled the world in that timeline and killed Gwen and captured me and enslaved Kevin. Luckily Gwen found a way to undo this. Anyway, if I can’t go back in time and stop the reboot, then maybe...just maybe...I could go to Cartoon Network and find man of action and tell them to cancel the show and make a whole new show, maybe an add on to omniverse or else I will turn into Alien X!

I would say what killed Ben 10 was Art direction, Animation direction and finally poor story telling. Ben 10 original up to ultimate alien was solid. it had some bad episodes like every tv show, but it had a lot of good ones. Omniverse and reboot killed Art direction+Animation. as far story telling is concerned, it was good till ben 10 alien force s1, than it did tell good stories... but in wrong order. I think the reason why entire series died was because the target audience for cartoon network was around 8-10, but the show after Ultimate alien had to advance to a more mature audience to continue for when ben turns 17-18 but it couldn't as the network wasn't targeting that mature of an audience so it just died into kids show with bad graphics. If you ask me, they should just reboot the show to ultimate Alien graphics and just expand story until it comes close to Ben 10,000 though most likely, all actors and producers are long gone.

Season 3 reversed Ben 10 from learning to be responsible to being just as cocky and arrogant as from the original show. Ultimate and Omniverse only reinforced the issues present from the end of Alien Force and Omniverse also ruined the art direction. The original crowd from the original show and pre-S3 Alien Force was growing old and tired of the franchise and the lack of innovation.

I partly agree because I loved it and the vilgax thing that I hate they didn't even make relevant after some seasons was the classic Robust muscle mode he went into. Those slender things would go in and muscles grew. I still remember jumping and stomping the ground when I first saw it. It scared and amazed me. (I was 6yo then)
The new teen titans isn't hated because of art style, it's hated because it became a baby show, the art style is a small part in a much much larger problem, in the new teen titans they went to a more episodic show with no main story that doesn't take itself seriously, unlike the old show that keep a steady plot with a few filler episodes but took itself serious with still being able to tell a joke or make a gag(one the wasn't about butts or legs or robin's baby hands); also for me I didn't care about the art style change for ben 10 I just didn't like that ben looked like a kid again when he's supposed to be aging forward
Honestly the style doesn't mesh for me as well. Uncle max looks freakishly similar to peter griffon and that makes me uncomfortable in all sorts of ways.

So, I'm probably looking too far into this, but screw it. Ben has never fully stabbed anyone (Minus robots) I'm pretty sure, because he doesn't never kill and usually shows mercy. I think Vilgax knew this, and was very surprised that Ben actually stabbed him instead of doing something else that's not as lethal which in my opinion would give him a good reason to be surprised.

Honestly, i was really skeptical about Omniverse before i watched it. I kinda judged it without having seen it so i went many years without watching it at all, but last year i watched all the ben 10 shows (exept for the reboot) and i just fell in love with omniverse. No joke. Love the art style, the plot and the characters. Also i loved the flashbacks and the Malware arc. Feedback is awesome. I can totally see how some people dont like omniverse as much as the rest of the series, and i was one of them, but then i watched it. It is amazing. Only thing is that some of the filler episodes arent great but its a solid and very good show, and i definitely think it can stand side by side with the 3 other Ben prime shows.

As a kid watching Alien Force, I always found myself saying "that wasn't how it worked!" I was really bothered by the change in Kevin and Gwen's powers, and it really hampered my enjoyment of the series. It wasn't until years later that I gave the show a second chance, and I did like it for the most part, but it still felt a little disconnected.

Powers and personality in Kevin's case. Had they gone a proper route for developing Kevin and connecting him with Gwen, I would have been all for it. But from the beginning he just pops in as the "totally reformed bad guy" who also happens to be the boyfriend of Gwen. This is the guy that actively tried to murder both of them as kids and is presented in a future episode as an inevitable villain in the making (before the whole multiverse thing happened).
You dont just put this kind of person as part of a team with some trust issues and only blame his alien genetics later, increasing even more the inconsistencies in his personality. Kevin needed to earn his place alongside Ben and Gwen, to have stronger ups and downs from the beginning of Alien Force so it fell he could overcome the fate that waited him in an alternate timeline.
As for Gwen, yeah I miss the times she was a witch in the making and the world wasnt revolving almost entirely about Aliens.

I really like when gwen gets her own powers, and kevin also has cool powers that he develops as the plot continues. It sorta shows how ben doesnt have an unfair advantage over gwen and kevin, and they are special in their own way. It also tells me that gwen and kevin are sharing the burden of saving the city countless times, like they are there for him. Of course this was just a way to forge a new team with kevin and gwen, but they really developed it into a very creative way which (more or less) aligns with the plot, of course I am ignoring the fact that a simple welding torch could hold back gwen, sadly scenes like those had really ruined the show.

This is just a sad comment. And I say it because you might be right. Not by the reasons showed in the video, but because the main writter Dwayne McDuffie died. If you watch the last episode, there will be a tribute to him. I can't stop thinking his death hit hard the creators from man of action and led them to do what is happening now. Just think of it. After Ben 10 UA and Generator Rex, what other things Man of Action did? Ben 10 Omniverse, Ben 10 reboot and that ugly bad written generic Megaman cartoon called Megaman Fully Charged. The whole studio died with Dwayne.
I really feel bad for Dwayne's death. Because not only he did Justice League Unlimited and Static Shock and all the other shows I mentioned before. He also did Teen Titans. And seeing teen titans go makes me feel insulted. What makes Dwayne's stories special is how he treats it. Besides being something for kids, or young teens, he always tryied to put important stuff. Racism, politics, media. And also some well thought plots or some nice background. Even Ben 10 classic or teen titans being far as serious or intelligent than JLU, he still made it feel relatable, not rediculous and would often give an insight lver the characters. And I believe he left this legacy. The legacy that "being for kids" doesn't mean it has to be stupid.

Alien force came out when I was 9. Even then I remember enjoying the transition between the show and alien force, I knew that the show matured a bit and I wanted to mature with it. If Ben could go from being an immature rebellious kid to someone who can teach others right and wrong, I though a shy kid like me could become like that as well.
Exactly! I was the same way, and I believe kids of today would be the same way today. I don't know why media tries to dumb down shows to appeal to younger kids. I believe kids would enjoy in depth plots and good character development just as much as I do. I mean look at shows like Avatar the Last Airbender. It was aimed at kids and is considered one of the best cartoons of all time. It didn't treat kids as babies.

Being a child that had watched every ben 10 versions, I was 8 or 9 when Ben 10 omniverse had ended. I must say that I had enjoyed the stories that each version had told, they are all enjoyable and was just amazing to tie everything, watching young Ben 10 grow up with me as I was growing up aswell was enjoyable. 15 yr old Ben was really great to see to have matured, even though some episodes just loose every development and maturity, I stayed because I want to watch Ben's story end and how he grows up. In omniverse, I really enjoyed it very much because at that point I was starting to be mature also and can follow a story very well, Ben here is a bit laid back at the start, but when the story is picking up, Ben matured (I think) and my 8 yr old self was all for that story, and when Ben defeated the villain (sorry I forgot his name), I was genuinely happy for Ben. He really matured and saving different planets not just earth, fighting off Kevin one last time, and rounding out the story when Ben got his "favorite" alien back and then instead of goofing off, he used the alien to help him, showing maturity. I didn't really watch the episodes where he just goofs up, or fight some villain that serve no purpose to the story. I only vaguely remember watching 12 seconds of an episode where the lego gorilla featured in because it was just too boring. And when monsters came in, I stopped watching it

Honestly Ben’s “because I’m adorable” would be pretty funny if he hadn’t of gone through so much character development in the first 2 seasons.
I feel like there’s a middle ground for his character in Alien Force. I like AF, but one of the issues I had was that Ben was too serious. I understand why he had to mature, but it just felt off that only Kevin was the one who would lighten the mood up. I think they could’ve had it where Ben acts tolerably goofy when he’s relaxing with his friends and family, but then knows when it’s time to get serious. AF and Ultimate Alien had him acting on only the opposite sides.

My theory on the change in season 3 is simply that, in universe, he was just finally relaxing, so he backslid a bit, which isn't inherently bad writing. He was under an enormous mountain of stress all throughout Alien Force up until that point, so him finally getting to relax after the Highbreed invasion causing him to overcorrect into old bad habits isn't the hardest thing to imagine. Is it jarring tonally? Yes. Is it unreasonable? Not particularly. Omniverse, in contrast, feels like a backslide past season 3 Alien Force Ben, and possibly even past original series Ben's earliest days, becoming less and less competent and serious. I'd say that's what people should rag on, not so much Season 3 of alien Force.

Omniverse’s art style isn’t bad, in fact it looks pretty good. It’s just some of the new alien designs and the character redesigns suck. Like Gwen got pointy glasses for some reason, Kevin regressed into his emo design, Grandpa Max’s eyes are nearly non existent, Big Chill got a big chest, and many aliens look like non-organic lifeforms like robots or objects (something that shouldn’t happen because they’re supposed to be aliens).

The old Ben 10 feels different. (Classic Ben 10 to ultimate alien). The vibe is completely different and it truly takes you to another world. The other series are just normal kid shows that you just play to keep your kid busy.

Honesty. I have huge respect for Vilgax. He isn't trying to.kill Ben. He just wants the watch. Especially in alien force. Vilgax was more of a rival. Plus the fact that Vilgax memorized Ben's made up names instead of calling the aliens by there home world names.

As well as K2 is in Italy. Something like 20 or 10 years ago cartoons and animes were on one of the most popular channels in my country. Then some of then were moved on other channels like K2, and it was ok, but now there are marathons of nonsenses and new cartoons which are so dumb to me.
The only one which can save is Pokemon sun and moon, but the theme sucks and characters are drawn in a way that to me makes them ridiculous.
That is just my opinion I'm not talking in an absolute context.

I feel like Everytime creators try to Aim for a younger audience all over again they alienate (no pun intended) the people who watched the show for what it was. Others just stop the show completely (like young Justice and Teen Titans)

Reasons why I don't adore Omniverse
1. The overall tone of this part is too drastically changed from darker tone of Ultimate Alien to the more kid-friendly tone of this one. It just seems silly. The same can be said for the art style.
2. Gwen and Kevin really lost their importance in Omniverse. They and Ben had gone through so many things together and in Omniverse they were just replaced with Rook, tho I kinda started liking him later on
Still, I think the writing for Omniverse is actually great. The story arcs are enjoyable and have more diversity compared to the previous installations. I enjoy it a lot more when I just treat Omniverse as its own story, not as a sequel to Ultimate Alien.
But I think that's the point of all the changes Omniverse made: it's something completely different from AF/UA and shouldn't be exactly treated as a sequel. It's more like an alternate reality than a sequel.

I live in Sri Lanka where the majority of the population is not English speaking, therefore alot of people aren't familiar with the English names of these cartoons, but the exception, known by both children and adults, is Ben 10.

Another minor complaint I have about Omniverse Ben is how they make him way more skilled than he should be as a regular 16-year old. There's this episode where he dodges a beam from Albedo in his evolved form. I don't care how good you are at predicting moves, you shouldn't be able to react faster than an evolved alien from one of the smartest species around.
Bad news, dodging a shot is ultimately a game of chance.
You must aim where you think a person will be and to dodge you must think where they aim without being predictable.
Intelligence also doesn't confer reaction speed, having a higher reaction speed would trump intelligence.
Way more skilled? Lol they made him weaker. Imagine defeating vilgax with diamondhead but struggling to win against fisttrick

Jero Valentin Yes I just rewatched the last season, I loved generator Rex at the time it was a breath of fresh air compared to ben 10 alien force. At the time it aired was my favorite animated action show and it really was the first time I was aware of the way cartoon Network treated it's shows, I had to go find the episodes I missed not having a proper end to Rex journey thinking I missed episodes and caused the ending to be confusing because I missed some :(

Ghost Freak always gives me chill when he appears back when I was younger. From his appearance, voice, as well as abilities. And when he rebelled out from the omnitrix, that chill got doubled.

I remember watching that one episode where he had 11 year old Gwen nearly fall off a building after he possessed her. That wasn't cool at all because it was a sign of suicide but of course Ben could have saved with any other alien. I think what cartoon Network needs to do is release the rights to the old Ben 10 where we see 21 year old Ben go in time to stop Ghostfreak from hacking the universe or do something that would catch our attentions again for a new Ben 10 movie for Teenage fans and up.let the kids like the young reboot.

You know what? I totally agree! The only consequence is me not going back in time and stopping the reboot from happening. The only effect if I don’t go back in time and stop the reboot is my entire career ending! But Professor Paradox says he will go back in time and beat me up when I was a little baby. I also remember when Gwen went back in time to prevent me from hacking my omnitrix, but then for whatever reason, Charmcaster ruled the world in that timeline and killed Gwen and captured me and enslaved Kevin. Luckily Gwen found a way to undo this. Anyway, if I can’t go back in time and stop the reboot, then maybe...just maybe...I could go to Cartoon Network and find man of action and tell them to cancel the show and make a whole new show, maybe an add on to omniverse or else I will turn into Alien X!

But for some reason, they just want to make a show of me like how I was when I was a kid and the reboot is just horrible and nothing like the original.
