Sweet build. The only thing that I would add is a rear hot & cold cord sprayer or sprinkler hose system to wash down outside after a dirty hike or bike ride. Plus a good pet shower. ❤❤❤
I really like that shower set up, with the fold down tray and attached curtains it’s the best of its kind that I’ve seen. If you haven’t the space for a permanent shower stall then this is really the best solution - bravo
Amazing build right here. Love how y'all covered the shower question. Great use of the 12v AC too, especially for those of us in high humidity & heat areas. Love the minimal use of wood as well. Fantastic job! 😊👍
This looks great. The fittings and fixtures are pretty nice. I have some issues with your shower stall... this is good "if you are a 6foot person"! I would never be able to reach the clips! I also don't like how you've set up the bed. You have totally lost that side where the bed is. Maybe a murphy bed setup would've been better - at least you could still use that side with a pull down table on the underside of the Murphy bed, etc. This allows you to have a more permanent lounge/working space. I prefer bed's that come down from the ceiling.
Practical and durable build, I love it! For the "garage" under the mattress, why not remove the flooring and mount the cabinetry straight to the shell? Need more clearance to slide bikes under the bed, etc.
What an amazing rig! A dream actually. I would love it but could never afford it. Perfect build though. If there was one negative for me was dealing with a wet shower folded back up wet. Dream on.
smart move using the evaporative / swamp cooler. I think if you cut the mattress three stackable memory foam pieces it may be better. The water heating system is great! Where does the shower water drain to?
Thanks. Plenty of different ways of setting up your mattress. The water from the shower goes into the grey tank under the van. Electric drain valve to dump the water at an appropriate location.
I saw what a man did to a truck, he added a type of shell over it and made it look like a work transportation, unique version of travel/work van/truck? . He showed me a good shower idea. At the back end, he installed a big round hot water heater drip pan on the floor and above it a shower curtain to surround him. He set up the water system part. When he showered, the water dripped down out of his truck via the drip pana. He could easily clean it out. Also able to move parts out of the way for other practical purposes.
Love your build. It looks strong and beautiful. The A/C unit sounds like a swamp cooler? Those work great in dry conditions but not so well in humid climates.
This design is getting closer to my ideal/perfect van. Keep up the great work. (I desire more fridge space, less freezer space, bigger water tanks. I would want the storage long enough to hold skis and snowboards. (Or maybe outside cabinet for outside toys?)
The thing about the ford v the Mercedes is that mattress is taking up a lot of room and the sprinter has the couch that makes into a bed. But other this is nice thank you
😎 I like this a lot. As shown, how much does this van run? I want to make sure that we are in the ballpark before we continue and have a conversation. Thanks! ✌️
I have a couple of questions, first....Amazing build! Well done! First question....If there is a low power Ac unit available....Why aren't more folks using it??? Second question, if a guy like me walks in your door with a new transit van like this, can $25K give me a solid camper with lots of bells and whistles? Or am I looking at more like $50K? I know that isn't an easy question to answer but I am trying to compare new class B vs buying a stock van and having it built. Thanks so much! Looking forward to your answer.
Thanks for the comment! The low power Fresair units are great for more dry climates. They work well in the Southwest. A true air conditioner will work better in other areas. Depends on climate and budget. You are really looking at more of the $50K budget for the bells and whistles.
Hi there! I love what you have done with this van! Quick question. Would you know anyone in the Florida area that would be able to do a conversion to my VW TIGUAN 2019? Would love to convert the back part from the second seat back into a relax place for me to get away from the noise of the world . I do not need a kitchen nor a bathroom. Just like a nice couch with a TV maybe and AC … can you guide me please? Would you be able to come and help me with this project? Thank you and God Bless 😊😊 🙏🏻 Georgina
Would it be possible to add an "Outside Shower" style quick hook up on the end of the water system facing the rear door? Would be nice for when you want to wash off mud without coming inside.
@@gonemobilevans Follow up questions: What is the floor space width dimension between the tall boxes? I have a pretty fat motorcycle (BMW R 1250GS) that I would like to fit in there. Also, if this was a mid roof van, what would be the floor to ceiling dimension be with this floor/ceiling/insulation system. Thanks!

I love the minimalistic approach because nothing worse than a van piled up with all sorts of stuff. 🎖👏👍
Dang that thing is awesome. I really like the bed that rolls out of the way and that pop up shower.

Love how minimal this is unlike other vans
Saw that shower at the Expo in Santa Rosa this past weekend. I was very impressed with it. I'm glad you integrated it into one of your projects.
It’s a great shower solution for sure!

@@darronbrelje6135 Return Material Authorization Number. At least in my business.
Wow I wish God would bless me so I could get one of these and travel with my doggie...
Simple, clean, functional, stylish and best of all, it's light weight.
Thank you!
Trimming weight where possible is very good. Nice combination of materials.
Truly an off road adventure van. The inside looks like its bullet proof from wiggle wiggle as the terrain gets bad

Thanks! We think this van checks all the boxes!
It’s an evaporative cooler. It works best in dry environments.
Wow, you guys have really come up with a functional well planed out camper van that will hold up and last many years. Well done!
Thanks so much!

Nice build. I've just about finished my 2nd build and I also used the Tetravan fold-down shower. Big space saver!!
Awesome! That shower is a game changer. What van did you build on?
But, is it clean?
Super clean. Really clean. Even squeaky clean if I don't say so myself.
lol i never heard someone say clean so much
A good descriptor for this build
😂 lol
😂😂😂

Really love your ceiling set up...lightweight, added soundproofing, and looks really nice!

No price given should be the 1st red flag 🚩
For the low price of $350,000…jk.
Shower idea and beds storage is great. I like the hot water system too-efficient. Wonderful build.
Thank you!
Love the shower system
We are stoked on it!
Awesome work Brendan, love the build out!
Thanks Alex!!
Add a few Baja lights on top & front & this is so solid 👊🏽
Definitely!
Excellent craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing!
You have been paying attention. These equipment choices are a step up from what the RV makers use.
Thank you!!
This is a great looking van. I would still prefer the pop top with the Westy/RB50 layout.
Love your build. It looks strong and beautiful. The A/C unit sounds like a swamp cooler? Those work great in dry conditions but not so well in humid climates.
It is a modified “swamp cooler “. It won’t work for everyone, but it’s a decent solution for our climate.

So many cool new stuff. Need to bring mine back to you to install some. Loved the new space under the fridge, near the step on side door
Need the Raptor Grill as the cherry on top ❤
Totally agree!
Looks great and extremely functional.
Appreciate it!
The painting job is dope.
going to be some great van builds with this newer Transit model. Looking forward to seeing the future van builds based on this new Transit model
Would love to see a similar build to this but with a Murphy bed instead of the roll up mattress
That Terravan system is legit
Nice van for camper...my dream

Grey color just like the Benz Sprinter
Another great Gone Mobile build. You keep making them better and better!
Thank you!
Love it NICE job
Above or below $175k? Just perfect. Is it better to start with a Transit Trail or just a standard AWD 144 HR?
Very Nice Brendan 👍🏼. Would love to talk to you about another build. Gone Mobile one of the best! Talk to you soon jeff

Great build, excellent use of materials and space aimed at tall people. Very unique style! I don’t see any table though or have I missed it?

Super Clean.
Wow this is amazing, Love this🌺🌺
Super clean!! I wonder how the ac solution would fair in high humidity of South Florida.
Not well. Swamp coolers work best in dry climates.
Curious how much does a van like this cost?
300k
You can have two for that price.
Looks very good I wish if I have one
Very clean van
Impressive ❤
Hot water solution is great the layout is definitely not performed by an interior designer
So nice! I’d love to know what this would cost to have built
Beautiful van, send her over to me please ,here in Wales 🏴
Shipping fees might be a bit much. 😜
Wonder if it was a clean sheet design...
Who can afford this things…I do well and cannot justify.
Extremely masculine van. Wonderful for that single man.
Another great job❤how much the labor and materials for this conversation?
Thank you! This build came out to about $85K for the conversion. The van was about $65K.
Ticks all the boxes. What do you use for your window coverings?
We use Van Essentials window covers. They are great. Highly recommend
Beautiful work as always! =)
Very nice 👌 Is any of this kit available in the UK?
Dope vans
hello dude, awesome ❤❤
Can u give me the weight of your transit ? tyvm.
I saw RWD but single wheel so I ask myself it weights less than 3.5T
Nice!!! Do you or could you make a hydraulic system for the bed to be adjusted if you were to park on an incline?
Although cool, that would introduce complexity that might fail. We try to keep things a bit more simple and robust.
