Old is always Gold. Do not underestimate experienced employees and their knowledge. I have seen this in the organisation I worked for, for >30 years.

1. Never teach anyone everything you know
2. Never think your company is your family. When you won't be making profits, other employees won't donate their shares for you.
3. Never put your job before your family. Company may give you a pension but your children won't like to be around you since you weren't there when they needed you
4. Never go back to the old company where you were disrespected for petty reasons. They know they can do that again, they are manipulative.
5. Never trust blindly. Everyone changes.
