You can pass all that info to DVSA and if they are happy it’s a mistake they will change the mileage.

It will be guaranteed success if you can prove the correct mileage from that day. A receipt or statement from the garage showing correct mileage would be perfect (hint hint). If you need to find the garage but don’t have the offending certificate you can find it online if you have the V5. I’m sure the mot station would do everything they can to help you make it right.
imekilnfarm9657 is correct and the service history is good proof. Good advice to always check your new MOT.that way the MOT station can rectify the error. Productive turnover of cars otherwise, well done both of you.
