I just started doing wash and gos at night then I just put it in one braid and take down in the am so far soo good feels soo good to be able to rinse my hair every night I’ve been sleeping like a baby
As I do my wash and go everyday for 6 days (co wash) and I shampoo at the end of the week, my hair 4c/b, I find my curls is making my hair soooooo tight! My hair is short...afroish but the curls are almost screwed into my scalp....I love it

Same! I started co washing my hair every day about 10 months ago and it has been a game changer! I was able to grow my hair past my shoulders after cutting it almost bald 2 years ago.

Omg who's disliking his videos? This is great info. I find that if i let my hair air dry for 30mins and then defuse a bit b4 i tie it down helps a lot. It is still kinda wet in the morning and that helps with the stiffness and i can dry it more thoroughly and stretch roots in 10min and be on my way.
I have fine low/med density hair and I cowash at night. I do 8 to 10 bantu knot twists with hair bands and I have the most beautiful curls in the morning!!! I do this each night!!!

My hair was washing so silky after my first wash n go w different products I tried for several days until settling on what I need/ now I just did a night wash n go w Bobby pins. Scarf wrap.
I use to do my wash and gos at night but it was to tedious so I switched to mornings.

Can u spritz it with water and essential oils to bring it back 2 life or is that defeating the purpose of stretching your hair with the dryer? Great 2 know I love my wash n go's and my hair respond so well 2 them. It helps my hair grow like a weed! Thanks hope I can get 2 you this year 2 a cut!
So of it bad to wet it to revive it daily? My hair is so thick I have too. Otherwise the wash n go will be frizzy. N I also have to detangle n remove shed hair.

I’m confused on the washing go… so this is how I understand it when you first doing the wash in go you’re going to wash your hair with shampoo then condition, lots of conditioner as you have on your head, the more hair you have the more conditioner you put on your head ….detangler then rinse out the conditioner on sloppy wet hair add your styling gel yes? Am I missing something so it’s just two products conditioner and styling gel do you add creams or leave in conditioners or curling products after your rinse out the conditioner then add the gel last? I’m so confused. My hair is I believe it to be 3c and I tried it using just the conditioner and the Ecos styling gel and I got approximately three days with good definition of my curls, by the fourth day the curls were still there some frizziness and it looked like it was dry so that would mean it’s time for me to redo my hair and then when I redo it do I just is rinse out my hair and add my curling products and the Gel?…. or do I just add the gel without the curling products!🤦🏽♀️
What about those of us who have hair textures that go strait when tied down? Fine, naturally low density, 3c-4a girls?

If you're any type of 4, I believe you'd need to be washing daily anyway. Especially if your hair tends to get dry

I'd get in the shower with a waterproof cap! The steam of the shower would ruin any definition of style I achieved night before!

I just started washing last week I have so many products expensive and cheap:hair rules products,4c only and cheaper conditioner that moisturize from TJMaxx and wal mart where it comes in larger bottles my hair is soft manageable and definitely defined. I do twist on Saturday for church on Sunday and start back on Monday. This has been lovely for my hair no drying or breakage
How often can I do wash n go method for short dry find texture hair ?
If it's dry, you need to do it everyday to prevent breakage & dryness throughout the week
My hair is a mixed texture of various curl patterns. Also I have hear damage at the front. I'm wearing my hair in twists as it's easier to cope with the multiple textures of my hair. Wash and goes don't work for me
mona loz I have the same challenges as well. I'm going to attempt a wash and go again when the weather warms up and see how it goes.
