Varun Grover is so calm and structured in his approach. Even the way he makes a point is backed up with so much stats. Very rare to find a personality like him in industry who is invested so much in his art !

@Swapn Lok i feel sorry for you bro, may god give you some sanity. there are countless number of stand up comedians in india and everyone cant do a satire or political satire, it is an art which does not come to everyone where as comedy can come to anyone. That is their forte and they are playing to their strengths you should understand this basic truth . let me give you an example if you ask sachin to bowl like bhumra or ask ashwin to bat like rohit that is not going to happen because each one of them has a different speciality and strength and they can play only to their strength which is called their forte.

Interesting. Also, I'm glad they acknowledged the absence of a female comic here and the generic overarching Hindu male privilege in our society. It's our desi version of white privilege. More importantly though, I hope this sparks actual change at future panels.

As much as I love kamra and varun, sanjay rajoura seems like the most genuine everyday man representative. It's natural to get angry at social issues that play a direct role in our everyday lives and he's simply doing that. Very relatable and the simplicity of his intentions resonated louder than any focused ambition of anyone

I think for a female satirist, you could have called Manisha Pande from Newslaundry. Although it is an edited and compiled show, her segment 'Newsance' on Newslaundry is very good and pokes legitimate fun at politicians and the media. I guess it was a matter of convenience to round up four male satirists in Mumbai and not invite a woman all the way from Delhi.
After reading yr comment I watched Manisha's show Newsance. I do agree that the content of this show is political satire but i am not sure if she is d writer of the scripts, unlike d panelists here. Is she?
