I use hks supercharger and I prefer the sound of a uel sound but I know its subjective!! I had it on a EL and switch it to have a lower and bigger sound.
I thought this was the US until I saw the language written on the signs and all the Asian-exclusive Toyotas and Hondas in traffic. Interesting how the colors of everything are identical to the US. Car sounds great. A little raspy and metallic for my tastes, but nothing a resonator can’t fix.
330whp on dynopack meth kit is really important to keep it cool and obviously you are going to need an oil cooler, upgraded radiator, upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump. other than that nothing much i guess. ohhh and a good tuner helps a lot lol
@@Aust1n704 I'm not sure what climate you're in, but I've got a Kraftwerks supercharged gt86 (2017) and I make 342bhp on e85, all my temps are perfect with stock radiator and no other cooling mods, so I'm not sure if its necessary for all of that (I'm also on 1050cc injectors with the stock pump no issues) regardless she sounds great!
If well maintained and the supercharger is well equipped, you shouldn't have problems. It's too early to worry. Don't forget it's an engine that Toyota uses
Get methanol injection a good wideband oil cooler and a boost gauge, if you see your afrs or boost going nuts back off the throttle and get it checked. Every motor will fail eventually slamming max throttle from every light and driving like a douche canoe will kill your car boosted or not.
It'll be fine my second car is a Kraftwerks supercharged brz making 360 on E. I've got 20k on the setup holds up great so far. If your still on the fringe dm me I can help you out

I’ve heard a lot about unreliability with HKS on the BRZ…. but Good things about the Edelbrock and even better things about Vortechs setup
Probably not with their gt2 unit, GTS unit might have some issues like you mentioned.

No. They dont even like running 87 stock. Get it tuned for 87 but dont expect much out of crappy gas
