It definitely sounds like every other fart can civic on the road. This is why mine runs Uel header with a Greddy single exit. Nothing beats that deep Subaru rumble.

UEL sounds like a broken low revving 4.0L engine, exhaust pulses collide/combine with each other which is bad for so many reasons and reduces the main frequency by 2. With EL it sounds fast du to higher frequency, it is the true screamer engine sound, like a Civic, the sound is not fabricated with tricks like UEL. They have different firing pattern and exhaust ports location though so I can still tell it's a Civic or Boxer.

@@Iseenoobpeoples You forgot the part about how UEL is always faster because it makes more useable power under the curve. The low-mid range is way more powerful than an EL all while matching its power up top. That leads to a much quicker car in the real world, not just on a dyno.

​@@boost331 Wrong, EL has more area under the curve in general and the difference is small, the results will depend on the header brand and the tune.

@@patriciocallata5105 yes I got hks fuel upgrade kit as well, that includes larger injectors, and im not running with restrictor plate, but with methanol injection tho, talk to a good tuner and they will probably find out the best solution for you

You should be fine if it’s under 350whp, unless you already have an unhealthy engine, but in the end, find yourself a good tuner and don’t cheap out on the supporting mods like upgraded radiator, oil cooler…

332whp is close to 400hp. Thats just not possible on a stock engine. In Europe we make 330hp with 0,8bar of boost.

I do, and Motul 300V 0-40, but I think 5-40 would be better for track use

@@cayman9815 I have a HKS supercharger and Jackson racing dual radiator oil cooler, the oil temp was around 120c in wintertime, the droc is good for street use or NA setup on the track, but I’m going to switch to traditional external oil cooler like the HKS one, that should cool down even more with my setup

No. They dont even like running 87 stock. Get it tuned for 87 but dont expect much out of crappy gas
