Bring back the creative suit monsters! I like CGI don't get me wrong, but suits offer just as much versatility. We've had Gill Man, Godzilla (and friends), the creatures of Hellboy, the creatures of Doom (a favorite of mine), Velociraptors, Xenomorphs, Predators, Animal, and so much more. I feel like a kid whenever I see a rubber suit.
The movie will never be great without you guys, big respect to you all!
I'm actually working on becoming a special effects artist and I'm supper glad I saw this. It never really occurred to me that the costumes I would be putting my models in would be uncomfortable but I now realize you people are truly amazing. thank you so much for putting up with the pain because I wouldn't have a job if it weren't for you.
I'd give anything to be a suit/character actor like them. I've idolized these guys since I first saw The Dark Crystal as a child.

The suit work in Alien still has to be the greatest. The movement itself looked so un-human it was terrifying!
theSuedeMonkey, Agreed! Without a great monster suit performance, it's very difficult to make a great monster movie. These brilliant artists deserve to be recognized as much as any non-suit performer. -Matt

I swear if all of my other dreams don't come true in the film industry (director, voice-actor) I want to become a suit-actor for sure. It has to be something truly special to bring a unique and REAL character to life (eyeing you CGI)

No pain, no gain as they say. Even if it hurts, I'm still going to be a Creature Actor.
Hall went through tropic heat just to bring life to the iconic space warrior-hunter, he got his reward as a helicopter pilot at the end. If you're very fit and agile, the Xenomorph should be on your list.

Guillermo is my absolute favorite director. Ive read all of "The Strain" books, and all of his films from "Devil's Backbone" to "Mama" amaze me.
I met Brian Steele at Horrorfind 2010, just the nicest guy. Got to talk with him for a while and he even gave me the back stage info as to why Blade Trinity's ending fell apart, aside from it being a terrible flick, the answer rhymes with "Sumdget Problems."

if I could choose any creature suit to wear it would be the Burning Godzilla suit from Godzilla vs Destroyah cuz that looked freakin awesome

suit still beat CG.. as long as the artist's have money and time ,they can pull off some amazing stuff.
These guys are awesome! To go through such discomfort and pain even to bring these memorable monsters and creatures for us to enjoy is admirable! I hope actors continue to do creatures in costume for years to come! Their performance is much better than a lot of CG you see out there. Brian Steele was amazing as Mr. Wink, and what can I say about Doug Jones! He's one of the best costume actors out there! Keep up the good work guys, and we appreciate you going through what you go through for us!

I got to ask how does one get into the business of being a man in a suit - I look around here in canada and there really isn't a theme park with walking characters in mascot suits or anything...i've always wondered how one begins the process of being noticed.
I want to be one of the guys in those suits, it looks and sounds like fun. And hell I don't mind a bit of torture. In fact I kinda enjoy torture.
