The actual title is Ahsoka (the term you’re using is actually the name of an ancient king from the Indian subcontinent). It’s a show that supposedly is a live action continuation of the story points left over from the animated show Star Wars Rebels. That show had mostly decent storylines and characterizations. The ones in Ahsoka show little to know similarity to their animated versions, and not just because the animated versions are younger. The characters make choices and say things that they NEVER would have in the previous show. Simply put, it’s a badly written show with poor to middling fight choreography and a villain that is supposed to be scary intelligent (in the now non-canon books he was stolen from, he was) yet consistently makes the stupidest choices possible.

I caught that too, but we don't yet know the total minutes when you combine all 8 episodes. If they are all in the 35 minute range it will come out to about 650,000 per minute....which is mind blowing.

I learnt, that it is a merely German only habbit, to knot your tongue in the attempt to, pronounce foreign words right.
Combined with the famously invincible German accent you get very unique outcomes.

For major examples of how starting at the same place gets drastically different results, go look up some Latin then compare it to some of its descendants. Heck, just look at Spanish as spoken in Spain versus how it is spoken in Latin America. I learned how to speak Spanish with the Latin American pronunciation. Audio from Spain sounds jarring to me.

A Quiet Place Day One is doing very well. A diverse cast and a lead who happens to be both female and a non-white person, helping prove such things are not the issues audiences have. The movie instead focuses on telling a good story, true to the world building of the saga, and excellent acting to illuminate both the humanity and tragedy of it all. There’s nothing peachy about it, nothing asinine, and even the more ridiculous story fragments get blended in well enough to not impact the movie.
Disney should stop wasting money with corporate hack drama, and just hire people that know the art of filmmaking.

Admittedly the Acolyte has one thing good about it: it is by far the best cure for insomnia I have ever had. So it is some achievement that they could not so much hit rock bottom as go further into the bed rock. How Disney could churn up this utter bowel movement of a show is the systematic failure of even basic quality control. There may have been the germ of a good idea which with a decent show runner could have been a classic. However, what they did was get a dull, predictable show with shockingly bad plot development, dialogue and such an uncharismatic and dull lead. It is like they never actually knew what Star wars was. I actually thought the second Rebel Moon film was awful but the Acolyte is much worse.
I’m happy to report. I haven’t seen the acolyte haven’t a clue. Last time I saw Star Wars, it was in the 70s. And they were made by George Lucas.
It's a bad show - even WITHOUT Star Wars in it, it's terribly acted, badly written, and awfully paced. And NOTHING in it makes any sense.
"The second half of the series has been rebooted and is completely different from the first half" is 100% B.S. Filming, Production, Editing, Post-Prod wrapped months ago and all of the cast and crew have since moved on to other things (or to nothing). Unless the script was quickly rewritten by ChatGPT over the weekend and everything was redone using CGI, what remains is what was originally written and produced and released. Complete crap/gaslighting from the actor who claimed this. 👎🏼

Maybe one day Disney will finally learn that the mythical audience they keep hunting in most everything they do just doesn’t exist. There’s a small audience there I’m sure, but it’s not one that supports these massive budgets, or will keep D+ afloat, or sell merchandise in any level of profitability, or make movies and shows successful financially or critically (at least with the actual paying customers). If that’s the route they want to stick with I’d suggest these budgets and expectations get lowered to the CW realm because that’s the level of viewership/customers they’re looking at.

Truly Kathleen Kennedy, Leslie Headline , and Bob Iger forgot the magic element. When Star Wars came out in 1977 it was a fun adventure for the friends, family and sci fi geeks. And sadly, the Woke-disney crew thought they could manipulate it for their agenda and for $180 million they failed and literally felled into the abyss of disappointment. And now they will have to explain not to us but the DISNEY STOCKHOLDERS ....LOL If I was a stockholder I would demand several people be fired and thrown off the studio lot.

I mean i dnt mind ahsoka by no means it wasnt perfect but watchable...i didnt mind obi wan not the plot the plot sucked but anytime i see thoese 2 actors on screen together haden in or out the suite it makes me happy, but it also made me sit on the edge of my seat in bits.
But this show....this is a stain on star wars legacy from the show its self to people involved with it
