@@AmirMalikTravelYou said "metro" when you asked her. It's metro in Shanghai and subway in Beijing. She probably didn't understand what "metro" meant. It's just the opposite in the US, it's metro in Washington DC, the capital, and subway in NYC, the largest city.
@@bouncingBrain That's because in English textbooks used in China they only mention that 地铁 = subway, they never mention that metro can also mean 地铁. Therefore for a Chinese person who has never been abroad and who has only been exposed to textbook English, of course he or she wouldn't understand the meaning of metro.

The subway connection between Beijing Daxing International Airport and the city center is primarily served by the Daxing Airport Express Line. Here are the key features and details about this line: 1. Starting and Ending Points: The Daxing Airport Express Line connects Caoqiao Station (near the southern 3rd Ring Road) in central Beijing to Daxing International Airport. The line passes through a few key stops, making it an efficient route to and from the airport. 2. Speed and Convenience: This line is designed as a rapid transit system, with trains capable of running at high speeds. The journey from Caoqiao Station to the airport typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes, making it one of the fastest ways to reach the airport from the city. 3. Stations: Currently, the line has a limited number of stops to ensure a fast connection. Key stations include: • Caoqiao Station (connection to Line 10 of the Beijing Subway) • Daxing Xincheng Station • Daxing International Airport Station 4. Fares: The fare varies depending on the distance traveled, but it ranges from 25 to 35 CNY for a one-way trip from Caoqiao Station to Daxing International Airport.
In China, if you don’t want to buy something after trying it, you can just refuse. It’s totally fine😂 There are many tastings at street food markets and supermarkets
beijing is still relatively more expensive so you want to get out of there once you hit the main tourist sites lol. if you are more on a budget, look for a mixue - red sign, with snowman mascot. you can get an ice cream cone for 2-3 yuan and lots of other drinks cheap. I think the muslim section is not in the tourist spots so food might be cheaper there.
Regarding the dancing: it's a way of retirees, mostly ladies, to come out at night to dance as a way of group exercises as the weather is cooler at night. You will see it all over China!
Amir, don't know if you have plan to visit the Ming Tombs where 13 Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) emperors were buried. One of the tombs were opened in the 1950s and tourists could go down to see the underground burial chamber. Definitely a place worthy your time. The Ming Tombs were located outside Beijing and could be one of the stops while visiting the Great Wall.

First, Welocme to China. I hope you have a good time here. You mentioned : she is weired becasue she did not mention the train". I do not think the problem is hers. In all fairness, what you're saying only applies to people living in any given country. They should indeed speak the local language to better integrate. But if you're at an international airport and you're a tourist in a foreign country for a few days only, there should be an expectation that only English can be spoken by that person. The airport staff should be better trained to serve foreign tourists or business travellers - of which Beijing gets many. Laslty, not everybody from England sounds like the king of England.
