My studio drove me mad with the echos. My voiceover recordings were awful. Then I found your video and bought a rug... alas it solved the echoing problem! Thank you ❤
I live in a loft style home with minimum furniture and the echo is WILD and out to destroy the audio quality of my videos. You have no idea how helpful this is. Thanks girl!!!
Recently remodeled our home with the kitchen living room open concept and added hardwood floors throughout, beautiful except it now echoes like a cave, your video is very helpful thanks.
My husband & I will be moving into an upstairs apartment with 5 of our kids, ages 2-12. I am nervous about disturbing our neighbor's, as my kids have never lived in an apartment before & are very loud. It is all we can afford, though, so I need as many tips as possible. I have had talks with them about not running, jumping, yelling, dragging toys across the hard floor ... etc, but the reality is that it will take time to break those habits. Hopefully my neighbor is patient & gracious during the adjustment period. I am looking for any way to help dampen the sound other than the obvious ones. Would pool noodles on the walls help much? I have seen people cut them in half & make wall art, and you can get them at dollar tree. I just don't want to waste money on solutions that make minimal impact.
The walls in my building are paper thin, I am in the middle as I have 2 floors and have contact with 7 other apts all around. All day and night, I hear lots of echoes from heavy furniture they drag, musical instruments, gym equipment, you name it, the sound is actually more piercing in my place than wherever sound is created and this has greatly affected serious health problems. I am on a tight budget and nothing I have tried, works. What would you suggest for the gigantic wall above the staircase as it’s not easy to go high up and hang things there. Also, all bathrooms are attached to this narrow way so you hear everything, that narrow wall way creates plenty echo as well. I have asked the neighbors tons of times to respect hours etc, they don’t care at all. It would take thousands to inject soundproof liquids in these paper thin walls.
I have inner infection ear for long time came frim loud music wondering what to in my room have house instruction really worry and tierd can’t handle my self
The easiest solution is to add as much soft stuff as possible. Couch, chairs, rugs, pillows, est. And anything to break up the flat surfaces - I don't know if you can hang things on the walls of a dome, though.
1.soft Window coverings
2. Furniture sofas
3. Soft fluffy Floor rugs
4. Wall hangings without glass soft fluffy
5. Plants or fake plants
6. Bookshelf

Awesome! I am glad something so simple worked! Maybe just throw some pillows or other soft things around the room when you are recording too.
This video has some great tips! Especially in my house, my kids are so loud all the time. I'll definitely be trying some of these out.
Thanks for the comment! I hope your ears find some relief with these ideas. :)
