The fixings on our toilet have caused us no end of problems. After time they have become impossible to remove. Especially because they are usually in an enclosed difficult to get at position.

2.3 gallons in 30 seconds works out to 4.6 gallons per minute (GPM). GPM is the standard unit of measure for flow. These hoses don't flow as well due to their rough interior surfaces, which also reduces water pressure.

You didn't give the hose length when contracted. That's pretty much the number one reason one would purchase and expandable hose.

You missed the con of vinyl flooring being made of PVC which is hazardous to the environment during the production of it and eventual disposal of it. If there were to be a fire it also produces highly toxic smoke. There are efforts to ban it worldwide.

I needed something 25" deep or less, would have liked a two-piece but couldn't find one in that size. Would have liked a name brand but couldn't find the compact version. Would have liked to only buy the bowl, my old (50+ years) tank is still just fine, but the new ones are all too big. Thanks for your words.

Thank you! This was super helpful. I have an approx. 20 year old Delta dual function shower valve and trim kit. The rough in valve is probably the same age.. I want to replace it with a newer Delta 17 series trim kit. Is it likely that the cartridge that comes with a new Series 17 kit will fit the existing rough in valve?
