It's amazing seeing how sweet and persistent these males are when they sense a pretty lady is nearby. They're so comical and charming, and I enjoy your narration as we watch them go about it. It breaks my heart to know that some of these fellas don't survive their flirtations but cheer them on when they succeed. Who doesn't love a romance with a happy ending? Crossing fingers, you got these two to figure it out to provide you with a new generation.
That smile on dave's face at the outro is golden. You can just see how ecstatic he is about a (hopefully) successful pairing. The world will only be a better place with more of these jewels around.

You always have interesting behaviours to observe, really well narrated too. That log was a beautiful setting (even if it did give them a bit of a panic attack at first 😄) it was like watching them in the wild. They are beautiful little beasties, fingers crossed for a successful pairing!

I've never seen such a beautiful spider. And I've never had my face so close to the screen so I can see everything being an anarachnaphobe (sorry for the misspelled word). !such as I was. I'm still not 100% over it; but I'd rather put my success to be at about at least 95.+ %!! Which is outstanding for me. When before I would burst out into tears and cry just like a baby scared to death. I think that this was very interesting but they both did preformed well during those circumstances and didn't show any aggressive behaviors towards each other! Those are some GORGEOUS spiders. After a lifetime of aracnophobia Im getting my first spiderling, tiny regal jumper, very soon and have begun gradually eyeing larger spiders and tarantulas. Brazilian Jewels...such a perfect name for these beauties. I loved his persistence. LOL Poor girl didn't know what to think at first. Luckily she figured it out & was very receptive. She is definitely large for the species I'd say, tho I'm no expert.

The trap door, she made beautiful and as perfect as she is, Dave, you and camera lady should name your spiders, I know you probably have so many of them, but the ones you video tape would be easier to remember their names and then their scientific name would be easier to learn. This spider needs an amazing name, she really looks like the colors of a gemstone. Amethyst is a good one!
