For me at least, their move to SkyTeam is fantastic. Flying to Europe from the Mountain West has historically been expensive and required routing through a limited number of airports in the US or Europe. But this move is a game-changer on the basis of costs and routes, and as a result I have an itinerary with Delta and SAS round-trip to/from CPH for the cheapest I've ever flown across the Atlantic from Utah. It will also improve connectivity and give an incentive to take a mainline in Europe against an LCC, judging by my intra-European bookings.
I avoid flying with SAS whenever possible. I find the SAS plus an imposition, not even the centre seat remains free. The food doesn't taste good. I always find SAS flight attendants terrible, whether Go or Plus. For the same price I fly Lufthansa Business, which offers considerably more in terms of friendly service, very good food served on china and many other amenities. With a free centre seat, which is already a big advantage. The defectors called SAS from Star Alliance to Sky Team have become even less interesting for me as a result.
Excellent trip report as always Emil!😸
mighty fine.
You travelled in SAS plus. SAS go is the economy part. In SAS plus you choose from the menu for free 😊

SAS go does not include lounge access. It does not include any free drinks and meals in the cabin.
Just to let you know. 😊
Yeah I only realized that a day after uploading the video that I got GO and PLUS confused throughout the video...
Interesting flight report 👍✈️🇷🇺

I think it's a retrograde step of SAS....(but their new bosses demanded it...)
