The last United Airlines flight I was on was over 20 years ago. It's fascinating on how much they have all improved and upgraded over the years. I'll be going on a United Airlines flight to Chicago O'Hare in summer of 2025. Unless my flights change for whatever reason. As of right now, I am booked to fly on a United 737 Max 9 aircraft. You have good content. I subscribed to your channel.
Second place isn't bad, you typically get a very similar product while paying less. Deltas been pricing themselves above the competition because they consider themselves much better
It recently got activated on the 737 fleet (wiring installed but still dealing with bugs). Many pilots still don’t know about it. It’s also alive and well in the NEXT airbus (unsure about the NEO), 757/767/777/787 fleet!
Enjoyed the video. You can always count on vertical air movement into Miami. I usually fly Delta or American to MIA and FLL. I am impressed with the NEXT retrofitting. Come on American...get the IFE options upgraded.
Is United the only airline using recorded announcements for descent, landing, etc.? I've only flown Delta and Southwest in recent years, so I may have just not encountered this yet. Also, I don't know how I feel about them bringing the buy-on-board trolley around before the free drinks and snacks.
With United upgrading their interior this basically leaves American competing with the ULCC airlines and it still looks like they have no plans to bring back IFE. As much as I despise their Oasis product, they’re my most flown airline since they have a hub here in DFW and have more direct flight options. I really like the next interior so far and I want to try it one day
I've flown on the 737-900, and I can't tell you how much I HATE that plane. It's small, slow and outdated. It's a horrible airplane I'll never fly on again!
The 737-900 is the largest 737 made, and it flies at the same speed as all other 737’s and most other jets for that matter, and since the Max9 was introduced there is nothing really “outdated” about it at all. Were you on a 737-900 or 737-900ER? Who was the carrier?
@@GarlandTexasSpotter2024 True, but this is the type of post made by someone who cannot even tell the difference between a 737-900, a 737-900ER, and a 737-Max9. The OP complains about the plane being “small”, but since the -900 is the largest 737 made we know this is really a complaint about seat pitch which is a choice made by the airline and not Boeing. Same with the complaint about the -900 being slow as it basically flies at the same speed as every other narrow body on the market. As for “outdated” I am going to guess again that this is a complaint about the amenities offered onboard the aircraft, which again is a decision by the airline and not of Boeing. I have no problem flying on a UA or DL 737-900/900ER where I can enjoy tv/avod, power outlets, a mid-cabin lavatory, WiFi, and/or opde, however on an AA or AS 737-900/900ER I might have a far less enjoyable flight as those airlines have not installed the same amenities. But, as we both know, these are airline decisions not Boeing’s decision and say nothing about the aircraft itself. The OP is the type of pax who wonders why 747’s are not used between MKE and MSP.

Good for United for deciding to upgrade the onboard experience for all passengers. Delta is still the best but United might overtake them one day!
United's C.E.O. has stated that United will ONLY hire ladies and minorities for their pilots.
Do YOU feel safe flying with them??
Second place isn't bad, you typically get a very similar product while paying less. Deltas been pricing themselves above the competition because they consider themselves much better
UA is better than Delta now
@ChrisGugliuzza Delta One is far superior to Polaris
Thanks for the review, good content. I like the direction United is going too!
I’m pretty much stuck with AA flying from MEX to DFW and I’d love to see them put in seatback screens
Great review! New cabin looks great and having high speed wifi makes a flight feel so much shorter.
Always love your thorough and detailed reviews!
Channel 9 is back... I might have to need to fly United again

I saw what you did there with the Austin Powers edit. Cute.
14:35, as an AAdvantage member, PREACH, and while they're at it, make the wifi plans actually affordable.
they are affordable already. Or just get a Tmobile plan if you intend to use it often. Stop crying

are the -700s being refurbished?
From what I’ve heard the plan is for those to be retired in the next 2 years. So they won’t be getting refurbished
@@ITripReporthow about the 757-300s and the 737-900(non ER)s?
Is the new NEXT interior on the 737-700s?
None, from what I heard is the plan is for the 700s not to have it since they'll be retired soon

Then fly the Airbus A320 Family or the Boeing 757 if you don’t like flying the 737.

As a passenger, mind you I’m a pilot myself, what do you describe as slow when you’re in the back chilling or not?
