I will love to ask is it possible to be a health care assistant and have a reasonable amount to go to the university to study nursing. I have being thinking about it, I am actually a nurse but in my country the nursing and midwifery council portal for verification is currently closed. I have being so downcasted because I don’t even know what next

What's Tax like?
So what do they deduct as tax from total
Anything thing below €40,000 gets taxed 20% per month and anything above gets taxed 40% per month for tax

Ria, I guess 760€ rent is monthly ryt? Also I learnt you can’t do any part time with different employers if you are on GEP, so how can can one get enough money if your employer doesn’t want you to work 12 hourly shift?
Also in my contract they wrote 42hrs a week, i just wanted to know if i can work more than that in the same company? Probably they wrote that in the contract because of the general employment permit application?
Yes it’s monthly. They don’t want you to work 12 hourly shift and you have a GEP with them? And yes you can work more than 40 hours in the same company that gave you your GEP

Hi Sis please thanks so much for all you do for us all here,am a certified nurse Assistant from U.A.E am on the process of relocating to Ireland as a health care Assistant from March reaching May i noticed that am pregnant my interview will be before this month runs out am confused don't really know what to do now because the both are important to me have been married for 10years I only had one son who's 9years have even lost hope of having another baby but miraculously am pregnant now am somehow happy and nervous at the same time because this is what I have been looking for all this year's please my sister what should I do am afraid to open up to my employer because they might stop the process which i wouldn't want please advise me on what to do please 🙏😢😢
