I’m 26 and my mom is currently on her deathbed with maybe two days left and no one tells you how mentally heavy this whole situation can be. At this point she hasn’t been conscious for five days and the doctors don’t give her much time left. It sounds cruel but I don’t want to see my mother suffer like this I would rather her stop her suffering. Death never has perfect timing and death during holidays never make those days normal again. It hurts my heart both physically and mentally seeing her like this so if anyone reads this please tell your loved ones how you feel before you can’t anymore.

My mom has cancer, too. I know it's easy to say and I'm not always in the right mindset myself. But really meditate on what fear can bring you. Really meditate on that. Then meditate on what is the best way to behave in your situation. May Allah bless you.

Hi. My dad was diagnosed with the exact same thing - pancreatic cancer that metastasized to the liver, just this morning. I was sad but I was still able to go to work just fine. But now that it's night, and I'm about to sleep, it's only now that it's hitting me that I don't have much time with him but the thing is, he's in the other side of the world and I can't just leave because of my job. As of now, they haven't told any of my sisters yet because we're not sure how they'll take it. My other sister is in her last year of uni and the other one is only 14 years old. At this point, I'm just looking for comfort. As the eldest daughter, I have to be strong for my family. May I ask, is your dad undergoing treatment? Also, how are things for you right now?

Hi everyone! My dad was diagnosed with cancer in September of last year. Thankfully he’s is still with us today. I was 22 when we got the news. And I had never seen or heard anybody talk about the struggle it is for someone our age to start taking care of a parent. To see your dad not being able to sleep most nights because of the pain he is in. To go to doctors appointments and be worried of what they will say this time around. My family and I also went through the stage where all there was left was the hope of him getting into a trial treatment, unfortunately he wasn’t a candidate for any of the trials that we found.
You feel so hopeless after realizing there’s nothing you can do or even that modern medicine can do for him. God bless all of you reading this comment.

She has had the stem cell transplant and chemo. It has been a tough road for her as the first chemo of a year was not as effective as it needed to be. Now she has had nefro tubes put in her kidneys and radiation to reduce a mass that is blocking them from draining...and onto a new chemo. At the end of this month we will see if this chemo is working and what next steps are. It's really hard to see my Mom having to be in the hospital as her body can't seem to stay regulated with calcium, magnesium and sodium levels...and now a staff infection to boot. Furthermore, We do not begin sentences with And; and we do do not begin a sentence with I. I , not i, referring to oneself is always capitalized in any form of the English language. I’m here in search for anything to calm myself down. I don’t know what to do anymore. My father has been battling stage 4 liver cancer for over a year now and he was just okay 3 weeks ago and now ever since he came back from the hospital. It’s so hard for me to look at him in the face. The Doctors have given up on him and taken away all chemotherapy and treatments to help him. All we have left to to pray for a miracle but we’ve been reaching to God for so long I’m wondering if he’s abandoned us. They said he doesn’t have much time left, as we keep on praying day by day he seems to only get worse and worse. I’m so afraid.

My mother's health isn't good either, and I became the caretaker for both of them while navigating high school. It's still the same, and we're waiting for another PET scan in this March hoping for good news. I turn 18 in about a week, but every night I cover my ears and turn my music up so I can't hear him coughing or my dad groaning in pain and I hate it so so much, I'm still a kid, I already lost two years of high school to COVID and with college applications I felt/feel like I had/have no support.

We don't have the money for treatment, and now, at age 19, earning minimum wage, I know that eventually, I will need to take care of my mom, become my little sister's (11) guardian and take care of her as well, try to provide a good future for her, and for me and my girlfriend, all while trying to cope with everything that's going on... My dad was just diagnosed with colon cancer - the same cancer that took my aunt’s father’s life 10 years ago. It’s been hard. I’m scared. My dad is my biggest supporter and hero. I’m still trying to go to school and want to have him at my graduation and for him to see his granddaughter grow up. He’s only 52. It’s hard.

I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer in June this year. She lived a healthy lifestyle, neither drinking nor smoking. She felt the first pain at the end of March, took a series of tests in April, was diagnosed in May, and died in June. Too fast and not enough time to create happy memories. Soon after my mom died, I felt the shift. That whatever happens, I'm never gonna be the same again.

Today he told that he couldn't fight it anymore and doesn't want a chemo injection but an injection that would give him a peaceful death 😭😭😭 ... couldn't express it in words that how much devastating was to hear that from a person who used to have such strong will and was inspiration for others when he was fit
My thoughts, feelings and grief are not limited to thing that I've said above but a lot more ... can't express my and my situation from last 2 years in words 😣

The doctors told us it was a rare cancer that they hadn’t seen in a very long time, it spreads three times as fast and is very aggressive. I’m an actor who is just starting out in the acting industry, and I feel as though I’ve been cheated. My brother is 12 and is a bit too young to understand, while my mother and I are doing everything in our power too help my dad. I help him walk to the bathroom, cook meals and do everything he is unable to do. As I wait, and wait, and wait for some sort of answer this video has helped me to believe it that I need to keep going.
