I have benefitted from the tips you give on many of your videos, but I have questions about a couple of the tips you give in this one. I have a few apps that are perfectly safe, but that Windows alerted me to block from installation when I installed them. They are photography related (app for my star tracker, for instance), and as near as I can deduce, the only reason Windows recommends blocking them is likely that they simply didn't go through the vetting process that other, more commercially prominent apps might go through. If I amp up security to block potentially harmful apps from downloading and installing, will those apps be blocked completely, or will there just be a notification of the risk, but still be allowed to download and install. Also, I have devices that create their own virtual network (star tracker and camera, for instance), that I can then join with my PC, laptop or phone, so that I can control the device remotely. If wanting to use my PC or laptop, do the increased security measures for device integration that you suggest block those connections, or will I simply be notified of the potential risk but be allowed to connect anyway?

Morning, Liron. I used your tip "ThisisWin11" and it removed all bloatware. I'm going to ask again about putting Linux system on Win 11. The icon is there but there's too many variables. I want a simple desktop using the Linux sys. I can't find an easy way to do it-nor so I know if it's protected by my anti-malware program. I tried but ended up with just a bunch of code that I don't know what to with. There's plenty of ppl I talked to and they don't know either. Plz HELP!!
This is why I hate "software switches", and why desktops are inherently more secure than laptops or phones. On a desktop, if you want to use a microphone or camera, you can just plug them in, and take them off when you are done. It is a "hardware switch" those items can never be hacked if you don't connect them by wire or wireless. The time when you DO connect them is minimised. Phones are hopeless. [Unless you take the battery out and remove the SIM card]. Many laptops and IPads etc, are not much better. It is getting increasingly hard to buy "dumb" devices with NO internet capability. If you MUST have devices inter-connected use wire, not wireless. The day will come when NO new vehicles will be built without wireless internet capability. Sure, wireless smart devices are convenient, but there is a price. SECURITY. So do you REALLY want that smart toaster or fridge?
"Page not available: Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information." Is what I got when trying to access Ransomware protection; can someone help me fix this?

Has anyone said , instal Linux yet , like it's hilarious
Um, there were NO videos in the corners you pointed to.
hmmm seems fine here on both phone and desktop...
@@LironSegev Aha, it only does that in Chrome, works in Firefox and Opera.
@@simonbyrd6518 strange on all videos or just this one?
@@LironSegev Yes, on another sample video in Chrome that I found with the end cards. Now I notice the YT page is missing the notifications bell in the top right, too. I think this started after the last Chrome update (102), in fact.
Check out the Security Events in the Event Viewer in Windows 10 if you want to stop sleeping at night.
true story
Morning, Liron. I used your tip "ThisisWin11" and it removed all bloatware. I'm going to ask again about putting Linux system on Win 11. The icon is there but there's too many variables. I want a simple desktop using the Linux sys. I can't find an easy way to do it-nor so I know if it's protected by my anti-malware program. I tried but ended up with just a bunch of code that I don't know what to with. There's plenty of ppl I talked to and they don't know either. Plz HELP!!
why not just use VMware and install the distro there?

Is what I got when trying to access Ransomware protection; can someone help me fix this?
I need help
Next build update Windows will reset all those settings :)
If you use the Local Group Policy Editor, you can prevent Windows updates from resetting all those settings! :)
Does trend micro keep the gov out of my business??? Not! 😮
At this point I just am gonna turn windows off. Can't slow down my computer if it isn't even working 😎

If you turn on Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) it stops Virtualization programs from running properly. Caused me problems with VirtualBox and LDPlayer.
hmmm I use VirtualBox and VMware with no issues....Wonder if its system specific?
@@LironSegev I don't know, I have an HP pavilion laptop running Windows 11 Virtualbox did work but at a snails pace, I googled the error message from LDPlayer and found the solution there i.e. turn the memory integrity setting off.
OS you must change ASAP!
Windows > Linux.
If you use windows, Google or any of their services your computer is not secure period. 73
unless you secure it. Same with ever single OS. period. 74.
@@LironSegev yes well understand it's a different ball game when it comes to phones . I guess computers are safer than phones. Thanks for the information. 73
