Hi Kyle, just dropping you a line to say my wife and I thurally enjoy your videos. They're entertaining, educational and fun to watch. Low key Benny is an animal. Your nephew's are some lucky kids and you can tell they're being brought up right, parents are everything. Thank you for sharing your work.
Hey man, thank you very much for the awesome feedback! We always try to have fun at the same we are doing quality work. Ben is 100% an animal. Very strong and very humble, great dude. My nephews have great parents for sure, they work hard and keep their family at top of mind. It is my pleasure sharing the videos, I'm glad people are enjoying them! ✌
Looking great love the videos! One question- is there any reason you haven’t invested in a proper laser level? Seems like it would be a great investment and easy to justify the cost😉
Thanks! I will have one someday, just started my own business 2 years ago so I'm slowly acquiring tools. There a quite a few different laser options and I have never looked into them really. I have not done a project in my career where a transit was necessary. They certainly may have been helpful on a handful of jobs but most projects can be done with good old simple string lines and levels. Someday I will buy a transit when there is disposable income and I have done enough research to choose one. ✌
This is a silly question but how do you know how to place the pavers on the patio? LIke the design where the pavers seem organized but at same time different sizes. I dont know if that makes sense or not to what I am trying to ask here.
Not a silly question at all. It takes a lot of practice and experience to create a professional looking "Random" pattern. Most pavers I use are 3 piece designs with 3 sizes, large rectangle, medium square and small rectangle. To make those look really natural there are a few things to look out for. 1 is long joints lines (like more than 5 pavers in a row.) 2 is to never put a 4 way intersection (meaning the corner of 4 pavers meeting each other, forming a + sign in the joint.). 3 is to not stack too many of the same size next to each other (sometimes you need to put multiple squares next to each other but do at as little as possible.) It is a simple concept but takes a lot of experience to nail it down. I hope that helps! ✌
I totally agree. Unfortunately these hardscape tool manufacturers don't have much competition so they can charge outlandish prices and get away with it... But hey, it is sweet and has been pretty helpful on the job sites. ✌
CHS, love the banter with the nephews. Thanks for the explanation on efflorescence. Great video.
Beginning of the video was great brother.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yes sir, I really like those blocks and steps. They look very natural 👌 Thanks as always for the comment brother! ✌
Looking good! One question- is there a reason you don’t get a proper laser level? Seems like it would be super useful on projects like this.
