That generation Vette is a classic. One of the best looking cars ever to move down the road.

Dude, if you're going to be working on obd1 tpi, you need to check out moates cables and tuner pro. If that has the original grey fuel injectors, they need replaced, just do it. Resistance check when cold, then when hot. The windings short with modern fuels and additives, leading to overheating the ECM driver transistors.

You should get one of those 10x10 pop up canopy, that would give you shade quickly. I always thought the part stores should have the metal canopy because they change wiper blades and batteries outside

First time my neighbors helped with setting up. The next time I was able to set it up by myself, just takes a little bit longer, maybe 20 minutes to set up and tie down.

I would've checked the fuel pressure & volume before replacing the pump.
I can remember 31 years ago when I was a 15 year old work experience kid when someone poured sugar into the fuel tank of a Chrysler Valiant Regal which was built in Australia & it ran the 318 cubic inch Hemi V8 engine so the mechanic (apprentice who was the bosses son in this case) had to remove the fuel tank & they had it cleaned by our local radiator specialist before it was filled with new fuel !

Omg, i have a third gen Camaro and the fuel pump is so much harder. I cant believe its just right there, under the filler door.

@@philheese1728 exactly I had to clean a tank on a 90 Celica and it was so bad I told the owner to just junk the car it's going to cost a lot to fix up

the psi is off by 10 psi 45 in no bueno for the 5.7 needs 58-62 and shouldnt drop more than 5 psi under load and 5 psi when shut off. powers grounds and injectors brofessor. tps is a potentiometer so as you step on the throttle the 5v signal wire should change as much as you give it gas

I did this on my 87 corvette last year wasn’t that bad to do but taking off the hoses was most pain lolol. They where so fragile to take off.

@@RoadsideRescue C4's are an electrical nightmare. I recently rebuilt the charge harness, and fixed some fusible link issues on my friend's 94. I do hope we get some more footage of this one! ----- The reason this car in the video caught my eye was it is the same color I used on my 88 Mustang.

Hope those electronic fan and tools are brushless... Had a guy working with a big gas station service company blew himself up in the man way using brushed power tools and non spark proof shovel. He should of known better. That system is still down since 2019 when the incident happened.
You can have right/high pressure but low volume. Get ya a popup tent, becool suit, those boonie hats you run under water for 2 hours cool..
