In the last 2.5 years, we’ve never heard him call Paul Paw Paw. He’s doing it now to manipulate the jurors. There’s so much wrong with this guy.
I've only heard the term today
It was overkill- pardon the pun. Had to mute him for awhile getting on my last nerve. I started singing in my head 🎶Way down yonder in the pau pau patch🎶
Trouble is, almost half the population of America is primed to fall under the spell of psychopaths, sociopaths and narcissists, so I have a feeling he'll walk!
He's not saying pawpaw he's saying Paul Paul... I doubt they used it much but it prob was a cute little nickname from his toddler days...every now and then they'll use it
I have a feeling you will say something negative about absolutely any questionable thing. The amount of bias against this guy is sickening. If he’s found guilty, I hope he truly is guilty.
Never once in the jailhouse phone calls, never in police statements or interviews.
so what?
@@earld158 Why now?
@@earld158 it’s painfully obvious AM is using the nickname as a means of gaining sympathy from the jury. How could anyone think he could possibly kill his own “paw paw” or “Paul Paul” …I’m still not sure which word he’s saying. It may have been a family nickname, I’m not disputing that. I’m just saying I’ve never heard anyone in the family refer to Paul by that nickname in public, recordings or interviews until today. I have heard Paul being referred to as “Little Detective” and apparently an alter ego name of “Timmy”.
I don’t know if AM is guilty, but I do know he shows ZERO remorse for the financial crimes he committed and the people he hurt. I believe a man like that is capable of anything.
@@doubletrouble5026Because he’s in a different state, perhaps. When in panic or early grieving, I can see the nickname as such not being used. Now, in a much more relaxed, nostalgic state, perhaps the name would naturally slip out.
@@KittensWithHelmets He admitted to being at the kennels during the time of the murder. How do you not know he’s guilty?
The prosecutor needs a lifetime achievement award for his patience in dealing with this piece of work.
Exactly 💯
☝️💥👍❤😂
Yah, but what's the prosecutors point when he babbles on this insignificant stuff like a nickname?? Maybe Alex is trying to manipulate jurors but gosh, over a nickname all these minutes are wasted?
As much negativity as Creighton Waters is getting over his cross of Alex, I find his strategy unique and effective given the lack of solid, clear evidence that shows beyond any doubt Alex killed them both. I believe his closing argument will be where we see, and hear the things that people think he should be doing and saying and showing.
@@opiumdensRusI disagree. Murdaughs play here is that he is being honest, by confessing that he has lied about every single thing that has been proven to be a lie, except him killing his family, which can’t be proven. He is washing his sins away on that stand, and he appears to be telling the truth about everything, confessing to it, which makes it seem like he’s telling the truth about the murders.
Bout died when Creighton repeats RORO?? Over his reading glasses looking at Alex like wtf😂🙄🤦♀️🤦♂️
AM is so freaking manipulative. These nicknames made him look even worse..
Yeah for me it came off so disingenuous and cringy, especially since he kept repeating it constantly throughout his entire testimony!!!
It was comical! A pathetic attempt at humanising himself and getting sympathy! Prosecutors heating him up and And it’s only getting started!
The lengths Alex will go to to get pity is despicable. Coming up with endearing nicknames for the wife and son you murdered in cold blood is obviously a failed attempt Alex has made to humanize himself.
Ha agree… he’s coming up with pet names for his son killed
He knows how to play the game
Jenna, my maiden name was Crew! We must be related!
And RoRo 😆 🤣 😂 He's not even creative with his fabricated nicknames.
Using those nicknames was obviously pandering to the jury for sympathy. It was ridiculous.
Paw Paw,Mags, and Bus.
First time I’ve ever heard Elec refer to them by those nicknames.
Don’t forget Ro Ro.
@@Buck3366
Oh yes,his buddy Ro Ro.😂
Don't forget about Bubba, and The Chicken!!
Today is the first time I have heard PawPaw and Mags. Must be Alex's nicknames for the people he shot in cold blood. How adorable.
I love that the Prosecutor brought up this “Pau Pau” BS. He never called Paul that until today at trial.🙄
He also claimed that Maggie and Buster always called him Pau Pau, but NOT ONCE when Buster was testifying did he refer to Paul as Pau Pau.
how do you know?
@@marthalisk303 so?
No southern family would call a kid Pawpaw. It’s a nickname for grandfather
@@WyattRyeSway he is saying Paul Paul
Sharp prosecutor! You can clearly see how AM is a master manipulator, typical of a narcissistic sociopath! His legal team advised him to use his son’s nickname when he testifies, but it backfired and AM knew it.
Those tears sure dried up and were replaced with belligerent deception
So slimy. Such a liar. Guilty.

If the jury doesn't see through this obvious Paw Paw stuff they would need their head examed. If anything this whole Paw paw charade points more to what a guilty monster he is. It was so blatantly obvious.
Totally agree!
he's pulling out all of the tricks of his trade.
Beyond ridiculous. I’m so tired of this trial, lock him up so we can be done!
@@CMJames quit watching.
Well said.
I'm so glad he called him out on this obvious, pathetic charade attempt to get sympathy. It was disgusting. Watch there is gonna be that one juror that will say "But but he would just never kill Paw Paw" and buy into this complete bs. I hope there are 12 people with common sense.
Yes, absolutely!!! I am with you.
He made a fool out of the prosecutor
@@jamesstone9213 he feeling did
That is my fear too.
We need that one nut case that defended himself in that parade to hurry up with his appeal!
The prosecutor is doing an amazing job showing the jury how manipulative and slimey Alex is. Alex can’t answer a single question without talking in circles trying to figure out where the questions are leading
You can tell alex did an amazing job by the way the prosecutor lost his cool by raising his voice at him 🤣🤣
100%!
Agree!!!
@@giama7618 do you think Alex did a good job on the stand? I was thinking this was really bad for the defense. He is asked yes or no questions and doesn’t directly answer a single thing. I thought the prosecutor losing their cool was exactly how I was feeling so I would imagine some on the jury were just as annoyed by Alex evading all the questions.
Not really. I think he looked like he was reaching.
First time hearing paw paw and I’ve watched so many videos
Yup. He even said when he lies, he keep on lying.. he knows how to lie and has the ability to continue lie.. he is basically saying he is a professional liar that can talk multiple lies swiftly. Wow
They're going to get renamed now. Ded-Ded and Bye-Bye.
It sounded insincere every time he uttered paupau. My skin is crawling
I can't stand it.
The statistical probability of killers entering that isolated property, stealing guns, finding the victims, murdering them and leaving in that window of time is ten to the negative fifty or impossible. AM is guilty AF!
But its also most improbable that AM did that by himself. Two guns, no blood splatter and had to clean up in the span of 15 minutes? Cleaning blood is not easy.
The killers had to find the ammo too
Lets not forget they did all this right after Alec left the kennel he was never at until today
@@christianf21 I agree...but Alec killed one..or at a minimum knows who did it. Makes him guilty to me
Plus he himself testified that the dogs were not acting as if anyone else, a stranger was around. He said it himself. And then there's the 17 seconds from arriving at the scene, checking both victims for pulse and calling 911 - which is in his new gaslighting version is that he checked them during the call... 17 seconds to mentally process the horror you see and dial the number... To me this was the decisive factor.
Like Alex thinks the Jury will Find him SO So SWEET for calling him that sweet name Paw Paw!! BARF!!
@@FrugalGal Don't forget Ro-Ro from this Liar-Liar, how can we?!
Paw Paw is fine to explain it but to continue it through the rest of the testimony!!
So obvious!! Love the attorney hitting on that !!

Sometimes in life you just gotta know when your time is up.
His 🛳 has sailed
😂 seriously
You are so right. Oh and btw, I'm tired too.
I just want him to freaking step up and take responsibility for ALL his actions. He’s going on and on repeating that he shouldn’t have stolen money and how wrong he was for doing it etc etc as though all of a sudden we’re all supposed the believe he’s this incredibly honest truthful man. Nope.
Not this pathological liar - he is Amber Heard stock, those lies are in his DNA!!!
It’s a little too late for the pet name for Paul, that’s not gonna sway anything except making you look ridiculous.

I’m sure there’s a lip balm company “dr paw paw paw “
Trouble with being a liar is when you are nailed on a lie the only out is another lie.
You KNOW the jury is as aggravated by all the silly nicknames as much as we are.
“Paw, Paw” pure theater suggesting an emotional connection that he simply does not,and never has had.
MAN HE IS SUCH A LIAR
I occasionally call my son "Pookie" in a private, loving, joking way but I would never call him that in a serious circumstance and situation in a court of law!
But then why say it while testifying in what should be one of the most serious circumstances of his life?
@@seaurchin4522 I think he was trying to get sympathy. He overplayed his hand. He's no Robert DeNiro...
@Smokey Kitty I misunderstood the original comment! I 100% agree! I was trying to show why it was weird for him on a serious moment to use pet names lol
Glad he got called out for that little manipulative trickery. Paw paw, Ro Ro, papa t, sickening.
I don’t think using his nickname on the stand is coming off the way he’d hope it would. Lol. 😬
Anyone notice how Alex is nodding “yes” while saying “No”?
He did it hard when his lawyer asked him flat out if he killed them, everytime.
Yesssssss!
Body language experts always rely on that.
He’s a liar and a killer.
Definitely a sign of a liar!
Paw Paw is Paul. Row Row is Rogan. Kill Kill is Alex

You can tell Alex did an amazing job by the way the prosecutor lost his cool and raised his voice at him 🤣🤣
@@giama7618definitely. It's looking more like a personal hate campaign from Waters
I think he handled it as good as he could by not answering the question and only answering "ooh, I'm soory, what would you like me to call them?" Hopefully the jury saw through it. Not that it will really matter much in the end; just one more deceptive straw on the camels back.
@@giama7618 wait, you mean a manipulative liar, con artist and murderer can get people to lose their cool? Who'd have thunked?
I cannot believe he's testifying!
OMG
Cause he thinks he's good enough to whine and get sympathy. Don't think it's working.
I would have been surprised if he had resisted it. I think hes a grandiose, manipulative, gaslighting narcissist with antisocial tendencies. He feels nothing for others, unless they are doing something for him, or he hopes that they will. I know they can’t help how they are, but it’s so sickening. I have hardly been able to watch parts. "what a caring father" N O T
Epic cross examination. Epically guilty looking witness.
Alex is trying real hard to ensure the jury feels he loved his son and had little cute nicknames for him. Paw paw got the pew pew maybe from bus bus or ru ru, but not from mags mags.

I screamed in joy when this happened live!!! What an awesome prosecutor!
Me too
I'm glad you agree. I was in the law and crime chat while it was going on and there were some people that were just not getting it...This prosecutor is just getting started.
@Alexsucks uh I am totally on prosecutors side but by the time they get anywhere and finish I will have forgotten who is on the stand. As bad as I feel for each theft victim … believe me I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes… but why go thru every theft case?? This is about cold blooded murder
Because they are going to demonstrate that he claims he cares deeply about these people but still hurt them. If he was willing to hurt 12 individuals, some underage, to fuel his addiction, why wouldn’t he hurt his family.
@@adele-md4rm Just like all the specialist the prosecution brought in seems long and tedious....In the end, Waters brought it all together....as he will again. Right now he's showing the jury that all these events meant nothing to Alex because he couldn't any of them. As well, we saw that Alex remembered quite easily....what he wanted to remember.
First time I’ve laughed out loud during this whole thing 🤣
Prosecutor: DID YOU CRY?
Witness: Sir?
Prosecutor: When you were cheating those people "who were special to you" out of $Millions, DID YOU CRY to convince you were telling them the truth? [like you have been doing to this jury for the past several hours}
I actually think he regrets killing his son more than his wife and maybe he just intended to kill his to buy more time in a small sacrifice so to speak but I am convinced he did it nevertheless.
His tears apparently come out of his nose, based on what he was doing w/ the tissue.
@@EvidenceHub8329 doesn't matter though he's clearly much more upset about killing his child Paul. that emotion doesn't seem to come out when referring to Maggie.
Look I've seen people cry before with snot running, and when I was young I was so upset about losing my first Labrador dog I cried to the point I had no more tears. Do I think this is the case with Alex, heck no, he's guilty but snot & tears has nothing to do with what the original poster is stating that "Alex clearly is more emotional when talking about his son than his wife". Or should I say paul-paul😀
I very much agree with that statement. you may agree with it as well. I think ALEX is much more saddened &hurt every time he thinks about what he did to his son than his wife. But he chose to do it. Shame
The Paw Paw Ro Ro thing is wearing a bit thin.
My daughter’s name is Amy. My pet name for her is “Ames”. No idea how it started but she’s now 39 ……would I dream of calling her that in a courtroom or formal setting and assume people knew who I was referring to? 😅 Never.
Exactly! Such an obvious baby-talk name to convince the jury he has a real beating heart. Nope.
You might say aimes by accident . But I think he’s made it all up😂
You're missing the point. He didn't refer to Paul as "Paw Paw" any other time until he was in front of the jurors dripping snot all over his suit and the witness stand. It's not about whether he calls him that or not.
One-of-my sons is named Nathaniel.
My daughter is quite younger, and had speech impediment when she was little.
She couldn’t say Nathaniel and, for some reason, called him DeeDee.
When he was born, we vowed that his name is Nathaniel, not Nathan, Nate, Nat, Natey- that we would call him ONLY Nathaniel
As life has it, since our daughter couldn’t pronounced Nathaniel, our boy is called DeeDee. Kinda by everyone.
He’s mostly grown up now, but when he was in high school, he studied French.
You know how students choose a name in the language they’re studying?
He chose Didier, loves everything French, and married a woman from France.
She, also, calls him DeeDee. ❤
This monster-of-a-man, until he decides to appeal to the hokey element of South Carolinians, never called his kid Paw-Paw.
What an arse he is.
@@Okladyhoma I’m not missing the point. There is a time and place for calling people by their correct given names. When you’ve blown their brains out is one of those times.

💯 Correct….
Notice that he often repeats the question that is asked of him. That’s a tactic to gain time to fabricate the answer.
Lol, the nicknames circulating around this family just beyond ridiculous 😂😂😂
Paw paw got the pew pew maybe from bus bus or ru ru, but not from mags mags. Handsome was with ta ta and rah rah.
People in the south do use A LOT of nicknames but PawPaw would be laughed at because grandfathers are usually the ones called PawPaw. My mothers father is Jewish, so he is Zeide but one of my best friends calls one grandfather PawPaw Mick and the other PawPaw Jim. That’s how they distinguish. Another calls his moms father MaPawPaw and dads dad, PaPawPaw. I can’t believe any southern family with two living grandfathers would be calling their child PawPaw.
@@djemcee😂😂😂
Erm just look into bangla culture they have two names in traditional culture . One is the pet name used at home and that’s the name all family know them by, and close friends too. The other is their so called “written name”. Meaning on offices documents; so for school and work.
My parents didn’t follow tradition in the uk, so I have one name. They don’t always have a meaning just sound cute : common one for boys is “Pinki”. And I know a girl named juicy… erm I was traumatised when I heard that one. I thght wth we are in the UK the British will slaughter the poor girl at school 😂
@@djemcee 😂😂
thats some great prosecution work! Trying to make out he had such a loving relationship. Him saying paupau is getting on everyones tits.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Every witness has stated that he had a loving relationship with his family. Prosecution really needs to step it up and stop wasting time with stuff he's admitting to freely.
In the Netflix documentary that came out yesterday Paul's friends had A LOT to say about
Paul's treatment by his family (considered him a disappointment, etc) His friends went to the Murdaughs about his rabid drinking and they didn't care. They supplied liquor for the kids!
😂😂😂😂
Finally someone called him out on that; it was getting ridiculous. I have family in the south and they tend to use nicknames a lot like that but certainly not in a professional setting. It was so affected and manipulative.
The use of the nickname is to gain sympathy with the jury. AM has no soul.
According to Phil Houston, former CIA agent specialized in detecting lies, one aspect of lying is manipulating, which is often seen as "can you repeat the question". Count how many times he did that, just in that little 2 min. segment.
That was a brilliant move. And once again Alex has amnesia? The recordings were played IN COURT! He couldn’t remember one situation that he called his son PawPaw? Maybe he’s taking those $50,000 a pills a week he’s taking?
This probably would have worked if he would have only said paw paw and mags once or twice but to get up there and call them by their endearing nicknames 20 times made it obvious as to what he was trying to do.
I bet this was the first time in Alex's life that ANYONE has EVER held his feet to the fire!
Nope! Wrong. The wife did that. She USED to anyway. lol

Right there shows the jury that he is trying to use the nickname to manipulate them.
Sounds like gang names for each other so ridiculous
Once a liar always a liar. He's so used to lying he thinks telling us he lied about the timeline after he was exposed is going to make him innocent. The thing that sticks out in my head is Maggie had tire marks on her leg and he admitted to being down at the kennels and said he drove the golf cart but that could of been a slight lie because they said the tire marks are from the ATV. So I think he's still lying and trying to talk his way out of it as usual.
But why would he lie about that? Makes him look guilty if he hit her with ATV after killed her. He did say he drive it up right where Maggie was 🤣 -alive by his story
Amazing how this piece of fecal matter can always 100% of the time recollect everything, except when he is under cross examination. Then it seems that he isn't quite sure of anything.
Him being a lawyer, you'd think he would be better at lying.
Paul got a new name after his death!
What a tragedy.
Very strange individual who’s sense of entitlement has caught up with him .
I love that he called him out and didn’t dance around his BS!
Trying to gain sympathy from the jury. How pathetic to use his deceased son like that.
I guess if you can kill your own son, it doesn't bother him too much to use him. Disgusting.
Did you notice how bad he explained withdrawals are. Paw paw found the pill pills and he lost lost it. He would do anything to stop withdrawals like stealing from a paraplegic, so he probably would pew pew paw paw to have him stop find finding his stash stash.

PERJURY
All of a sudden he starts using a "term of endearment" to make himself look "human"
How come after weeks of testimony during the trial from many witnesses before that many taped police interviews, do find out that Paul’s nickname is PawPaw! Buster never referred to his brother as Pawpaw, neither did his Aunt. I’m pretty sure the jury see through Alex.
Or they had the decency to refrain from using idiotic, juvenile terms of endearment when talking about grown adults.
MA was blabbering on with about 3 or 4 babyish nicknames names it wasn’t just for Paul. Sickening the way the weasel tries to seem innocent. 🤮
Evasive answers
He does have evil eyes
I think he's crazy.
Emotionally distancing himself by not saying Paul. He seems to realize the slip and what it could be construed as.
He never referred to him as paw paw . He’s aiming to make himself endearing to the public to garner sympathy . He’s extracting ridicule instead 😂
EXACTLY. Funny how so many others missed that point, here in the comment LOL.
This cold blooded double murderer never once called his son Paw Paw to police or investigators. He simply used this term of endearment to manipulate the jury to believe how much he loved his son. The jury saw right through him. Also this entity of evil never shed a tear. He simulated crying by blowing out snot and clearing his throat, but couldn’t produce any tears!!!
Glad that the jury didn't fall for this. 💀
He wandered so far out the paw paw patch he aint never coming back,. He did think of a new nickname for Paul while wondering.
He’s uncomfortable using his name and is distancing himself from Paul but trying to make it look like he’s closer to him then he ever was.
🤣🤣🤣
And don't forget about "Bus"🙄. I'm so happy he called him out for that. I was asking the same question while I was yelling at my screen earlier.

Yet, he insists on his wife and son to be at Roselle the night of the murders because he wanted them to go with him to visit the ailing father. Then he wants us to believe he just walked back to the house from the kennel at 8:45 and left without them? Only to return and find them dead? What a true manipulator. Then he calls his son PawPaw for the first time to elicit sympathy from the jury!
All evidence needs to be considered together- not just the pieces that support your desired result.

The manipulative lengths Alex will go to just brings u right back to why he is where he is, let's hope the Jury is as easily deceived as well.
Omg how did I miss this? Hahaha “RoRo called him PawPaw.” “I called my son PawPaw ‘PawPaw’!”
He repeats the question out loud during the whole trial so he can hear it again and think of a lie smh
I call my 10 yr old "toot" she hates it and is embarrassed. Given a trial I doubt I would refer to her as Toot
I truly believe these are, indeed, names he called these people, HOWEVER it does point out that he is purposefully doing it now, for empathy/sympathy, and to appear more like the good old boy he likes to portray. Plus, it's the FIRST time so far he's elicited some outrage from the witness.
