Ryan, I don't know if you are still following comments, but I have a question. Several years ago, I used blender to create components for game design in Unity. (Work flow: Create walls and layout in AutoCAD, Texture map in blender then import into unity.) Now I am making CGI film. I would like to do it all in blender, rather than importing into unity and moving viewport through model in Unity. The one question I have in blender: Is it possible to add "atmosphere" in blender?
Hi Ryan, I like the gravity feature you described at around the time mark 12:08….how the cube bounces when hitting the plane. Is there a way to cause a reaction between 2 objects, like damage when 2 collide? Such as leaving a dent in the plane where the cube contacts it? Thanks for the time you put into these videos.
Woow so simple to follow along, thank you. Is there have a way to manage large forest and pant scene without lagging the viewport ? Something like proxy (i dont know how to use proxy). Like low resolution in the viewport and rendering in a high resolution ?
I am coming from autodesk products, autocad and 3ds max, for over 14 years. I am amazed by how slick and elegant and intuitive and stable and straightforward and easy and, and, and... is this Blender... That gimmick with the eye closed icon (not just faded), shows that they had attention for every detail in programming this software... autodesk with their rivers of money didn't do that...
bro my phsics thingy is not working when I put it to active and play it does not fall down and when I try to do the same thing u did my cube still don't fall down even if I press space bar
Thanks, man, but ı have a question. ı put "h" on my computer ı can hide objects like this. But when ı put "alt+h," ı cannot unhide any objects. Why ı cannot I do this?

Well, you could hide the subsurf modifiers from the view, but still have them show up in the render.
