    👍The more you take it apart the more you learn. It's really good to see you doing the work and learning. I started working in a one man hot rod shop when I was 12 . That's back in the day when a kid good do so!! I would like to see you build the bottom end of the Tar Heel fox!!

    Congrats there's no better way to learn. Great support and patience. Tip for brakes, do them one at a time so you have a reference on how they go back together, ask me how I know.

    Repetition is the only way to learn.

    Might put a laser down the axle tubes too. Axle tube may be a little off. Make sure they’re straight and weld them whilst the rear ended is out of the car.

      Ended up moving on as things seemed to be fitting very well after the spider gears change and everything measured out good, but they may have been a next step if things hadn't worked out.

    Should of soaked the clutch packs in friction modifier before installing them.

    I bet you can do this in your sleep. Other than fluid change, I have NEVER had to tear into a rear. GREAT learning experience for you.

    I would put the gear oil in now and let it sit for a week or two to make sure you don’t have a leak. It would be easier to fix at the shop.

    I was almost starting to feel bad for you after finding the shim in the wrong place and having to take it apart AGAIN, haha. Live and learn, way to hang in there.
