If I remember the episode right, the lady vampire did not like her husband anymore and she took the first hot guy who could take out her husband, the romance was secondary. She just was being opportunistic.
Haven't seen the episode, but I know in a lot of vampire lore, they are weaker if they don't feed on human blood. Maybe she couldn't heal her leg simply feeding on animals, and that's why they needed the doctor?
I figured you guys wouldn’t be super into this one. Like Joe said, I agree with what you’re all saying, but I actually loved this one. Probably because there’s that B Movie quality to it, and the actors were as good as they could’ve been. Curious to see what you think of The Unhappy Medium cause I did not like that one. Didn’t pay full attention to it, so maybe I’ll rewatch it.
"Gary, turn the fan on!"🤣 This ep is definitely a skipper. 🧛 And Chris! No creative outro again?! There were so many options given the vampire theme here. 😉
A close friend of mine that is too into horror anthology series had no idea about this series and how important it is to the genre. So I bought him the complete series DVD set and I can’t wait until he dives in. PS I sent him you guys playlist to your reviews, and I plan on getting the set myself. Cheers.
Not my favorite episode. I'm not sure what they were going for here. Marcia Cross is the best thing about it. My Ghostwriter - The Vampire is better to me.
I was particularly attracted to vampire stories from my teens and into my 20's, so revisiting this in my teens, I was partial to it. And I think most people who liked it, didn't take too much of an issue with the sudden replacement of Edmund. I would wager a guess that most people who liked this episode were either A) Taken by the romantic angle/sexy bondage, or B) Pretty much see vamps as savage anyway-so why wouldn't they replace companions when they tired of them? That's my guess as to the higher rating!
Hey! Don't banish Joe to the nether! 😁 Fun edit boys lol but even better video fellas I do love this series lol I love your main line longer videos also ofcourse but this TFTD series has become my favorite content of y'all's haha...and I been relistening to the older audio only episodes...crazy how far the show has come boys good shit
What is this crap this is a couple of guys running their mouth I don't want to listen to two guys talking about their opinion of the show I couldn't care less
Good episode, as always guys. This episode, for me, was nothing special at all. The romance was definitely forced, & the villianous vampire husband, was barely an effective villian, who was defeated too easily. This could've been better, if it'd been a feature length film, so there could've been alot more story, & character development, & the romance would've had more time to develop, & be more believable. The next episode, the unhappy medium, is not the best, but definitely better than this one, in my opinion.

Tales from the dark side...of the moon? Don't feel bad, Sean. I don't know what they are talking about either
i think they say that she doesn't heal as well since she does not drink human blood as much?
Vampire stories have been done so, so much, it's hard to do it right. So many of them just feel generic or underwhelming, like zombie movies.

Sure seems that way!

I remember Pool Sharks from Monsters! Did you guys cover it? LOL That's probably where I saw it!
Not yet! We will be as soon as we finish Tales from the Darkside. 💚📼
I would have never thought that Little Women would join the Unbound universe but here we are, and I ain't mad at it
Love the episode guys, this is different a watch for me I enjoyed this episode. But I also agree with all the stuff you were saying about the episode.
