I love this episode so much. Being a father of a 2 year old boy, the way I now see this episode is more of his song being his youthful days, while the song his daughter plays, represents him accepting his time is over, and to allow for the next generation. It’s beautiful really. I can’t wait to share this series with him when he gets older.

In Moonraker, Drax has a musical keypad (it ends up being the theme from Close Encounters) on his lab.

Horace X making his appearance in several subsequent episodes is so funny. 😆 Also, where was Chris' summary segment?!? 🤪 Another good Talks ep. 💚

My favorite episode of Tales from the Darkside, Lisa Bonet is great in it, and the score by John Harrison is awesome

I wish Farber was a recurring character, always trying new schemes to create the perfect song/instrument. He has real Batman villain vibes.

I remember being 12 years old and being disappointed in this because I miss read the tv guide and thought it was satanic panic and was expecting a d and d themed episode

This one has a good concept for anyone musically inclined. I remember this one too. So I must've seen this somewhere. I just can't remember where. 😂
Edit: Great episode, this one is on the shelf for me. Along with the last one. Thanks for the double episode tonight. Really made my night. Then I get a hack the movies monthly recap. This night has totally turned around. 😂❤🎉

Loved the camera angle from "inside the machine" where its just wires and lights on a plexi in front of the camera. easy and effective.

I always skip this episode for some reason. Watched the whole second season over the weekend and was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed this episode now that I'm in my 30s and have two kiddos.
    Great Talks as usual! 🤘😈

I feel the same way you guys do. The episode was good, but it needed just a bit more. Needed a bit more of the villain & his plans, & i agree, a bit more of Lisa Bonet's character. Otherwise, was a pretty decent episode. We're now getting closer & closer to the one i been waiting for, Ursa Minor!!

I love stories about selling your soul to the devil so this is an easy win for me. The Cross Roads with Ralph Macchio is a good one if you haven't seen it, great blues music in it as well.
