Can you not go so fast? And maybe explain it in a way that one might someone(s) who is NEW to photoshop. Your videos are nice but you often skip over key bits of info in your excitement to get it all out.

I have a question. After editing and everyone. There was a part that I have cut in too deep. How can I make the erase be invertible? Like not erasing the picture, but the background. In a sense, restoring the picturing back. Idk if I explained that good, but how can I do this!?
And intead of dragging the selection outside the picture u can delete the selection by holding ctrl and D
Good advice, the reason I drag it out is because sometimes it has a thin outline of the image. But I'll keep in mind that ctrl and d will de-select it

What a ton of people don't actually know is that if the background is a different color (or contrasted) compared to the object you want to cut out, you can select the image and go to "Select">"Select and Mask." Once there, set the transparency on 50%. Now drag your mouse over the object you want to cut out to fill it in. You can tell you've filled in the object completely if it is brighter than it's surroundings. Once you've filled it in, go down to Output Settings and change the selection in the drop down box to "New Layer." Then click OK. This will create a new layer with only your object! If there are parts of the background stuck to the object, you can erase it. This really works with objects that are highly contrasted with their backgrounds. Hopefully I explained it right, maybe you can put this in a video!
Good advice, like I always say Photoshop has many different ways of achieving the same result. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas so thanks for sharing. Your comment will be useful to other users and me, also I might do a video in the future that gives information about this topic.

I think I have something set strangely in my PS... when I hit delete, PS wants to do content aware fill. Will fiddle with it and see if I can figure out what I've screwed up here

Sorry I only just got home, what format did you save it as? if you saved it as another format it may just make the background a plain white colour. Also what other editor did you use because that editor might not be in transparent mode like Photoshop
Yup I just figured up checking your comments lol thanks. btw whenever I delete the background, the 'fil'l box jump out so I have to chick the eraser first every time, is there any solution? also sometimes the mouse is only a + but no circle surround it.
You can do the eraser tool method every time or look in the settings for the layer and the circle problem shouldn't happen, not sure why yours is doing that. Just restart Photoshop or reinstall it

Sure. You know what you should make a tutorial how to make health bar like in my video of that cats fight. I have watch tutorial from someone else and I barely made it. No I don't think your dumb, the tutorial probably didn't have a solid structure for new people learning to do that. But at the end of the day that video was hilarious hahaha. When I press delete it says 'could not complete your request because the smart object is not directly editable PLS HELP
Click on the layer, then select the eraser tool. After that click anywhere on the screen, a message will come up and you just press ok and that will turn it into a layer

It deletes the selection, not the background..
Do the oppasite and press ctrl and J to dup the layer and separate the bg from the image
Whenever i outline ,y image, it just delete what i outlined, not what is outside the lines, what do i do
Is the stroke size on max? if it is then it will remove the whole image. Check to make sure its only 2 - 5 pixels big

hey, when i do it it deleted the character and keeps the white what did i do wrong
If it does that then you can do the opposite and press ctrl + j and that will make the character on a new layer separated from the background

when i click on delete on my keyboard it deletes the layers not the background
Are you selecting the correct layer and does your image say "background" or "layer 0" if its a background you need to unlock it
so i did everything you said but you didn't how us how to save it, when i save the pic it gives me the pic with a white background
You need to save it as PNG and make sure there's no layers under it which might act as a background

I just need to know how you could save an image of JUST the person. Every time I save in this scenario and I paste the photo somewhere else there’s still a white square behind the object.
Save it as .PNG because other formats don't support transparency so they will use a white background

i really learned alot in this video.. I follow the steps from start and I can tell you that this is the best tutorial for me its like my dream came true and I didnt expect so fast I will remove the background :)
it's Shift + Ctrl + I to invert the selection or go to *Select* > *Inverse*
But if it's the mask you're trying to invert then it's Ctrl + I when you're selecting the mask.
easier way select the human and then right click inverse

When I hit my delete button after making my selection, it brings up a “fill” window and will do anything other than simply delete the selection. Anyone help me fix this?
Sounds like the layer is locked, check see if you've unlocked it

Right click on your background layer and click "rasterize layer" that will let you edit it
Mine is not going on the outside of the image it is taking the people out too.
Then try pressing ctrl + j on your keyboard that should separate the layers in two, after that you can delete the layer with the background on

Right click on the layer and click "Rastarise Layer" then you can edit it
and what are those hot keys to make that smaller when we have Å ,Ä,Ö ?
If you don't have "[ ]" on your keyboard then you'll have to manually change the size in the menu at the top left or if you can try switching your keyboard to English and test the keys out. Sometimes if you use a different language the keys are different for example if I had mine set to US then some keys would be different.

How to make an intro tutorial like yours for example. Something quick, neat and simple without all the extra moving around and loud music. Oh and Adobe Premiere please. Thank you
Yeah I can do that but the only thing is, I've never really used Adobe Premiere. I made my intro in After Effects. Is Adobe Premier similar to after effects?
Adobe premiere is like Sony Vegas although I heard that it's a lot more complicated but at the same time better. And yes Adobe After Effects i forgot about that one, if you could show us how to make an intro on After Effects that would be great thanks.
Ahh right ok. I've heard a lot of people use it for RUclips videos and yeah sure but I'm just going to let you know now that I'm not the best with intros, I'm better with creating still graphics but I'll spend more time making intros so I can get better and make tutorials on it

Yh with the new update you just need to right click on the layer and click "rasterize layer" then you can edit

Double click on the lock or drag it down into the bin icon (bottom right)
as you can tell I'm really new to this. but whenever I export the image it saves with a white background.
If you save it as a PNG file it shouldn't have a background and if it does then it may be the program your importing to

You might of converted it to a smart object so just right click on it and go to "Rasterise layer"

If your using the new version of photoshop you'll need to right click on the layer and click "rastize layer"
