Take blood clots serious! I got a pulmonary embolism back in 2003 and well, I should be dead tbh. I felt the pain in my right calf the day before and ignorantly ignored this and attributed it to a foot surgery I had gotten and was wearing a boot on that foot at the time. The next day I went to a football house party and started having extreme pain in my back. I started having a kind of out of body experience. I was disoriented as mentioned in this video. I was so lucky that the party i was at our friend who is an internist had many of her friends there who were also nurses and emergency room doctors. I was raced to the nearest hospital and was there for a week. When I first got to the hospital the remote reader gave me an initial diagnosis of pleurisy. My wife literarlly saved my life by making the doctor re evalute the pleurisy diagnosis. They did and i was immediately admitted to the hospital. I was lucky but many people have no pain at all. That is what is really scary. Thank you for sharing this very important information doctor !!!

Good Day. I am 38 and got diagnose with DVT.
Before I got diagnose it feld like a muscle strain. Usually will go away in few days but this continued for a week where it feld if the muscle goes in spasms.
Currently I am being treated.
My family is also known to have factorVleiden disease. The doctor recon that this family disease could be the main cause.

I had a minor blood clot in my left leg due to crossing my right leg over my left leg all day all the time at my work. The clot cleared itself but now I have a massive tortoise, varicose vein that needs to be removed majoring roughly 18 inches in length.
I’m now wearing compression stockings having seen a vein doctor three times, and we are projecting vein removal after 11 weeks of unsuccessful compression therapy.

So far I’ve had two blood clots in my forty’s one in my leg and one in my left lung and I’m still going strong ok

Hello doctor i have a veinous ulcer which is very painful
It heal and then break down it is on my ankle. It is smell awful.
I was admitted into the hospital with pulmonary embolism and they later found a DVT. While speaking with my doctor today, he explained that the clot in the leg was very long and thin. I cannot find anything regarding this on the internet. Can you explain?
What if you're having blood clots in your menstrual cycle
The first blood clot was in 2000 when I was on birth control pills to help with my cycle. Was in ICU for 3 days and on Warifin for 3 months to dissolve.
Had another one a year ago from inactivity/overweight in these Chicago winters.
Now on Eliquis for the rest of my life and wearing compression hose.😕

Hi doctor I’m 26 weeks pregnant and I have varicose veins on my right leg closer to my knee I am 35 years old and I also had them in my previous pregnancies. Now my midwife is saying I have high risk of blood clot. Do I need to have blood thinners injections or I can use compression stockings and healthy diet to prevent blood clotting ?
Usually the easiest things to do is wearing a supportive shoe or slipper in the house 1st (takes a ton of pressure off of your muscles/joints), then compression socks 2nd are always a safe way to do it 😁
