@@fridayschild722 i had used normal milk,. Not full fat so didn't get much cream. But if you do use full fat, keep scraping it from sides so it doesn't burn and mix it back into the liquid.

Absolutely divine, I made it yesterday for a crowd and it was a super hit. I did change the sugar water ratio in the chashni to 1:2 because we like our desserts less sweet, and it came out perfect! Also, I assembled and refrigerated it for a few hours before serving, we are in the middle of summers and the cold shahi tukda was a big hit!
Hi.. Did you keep it in the fridge with the rabri? Or did you add rabri while serving? Actually I also want to prepare in advance and keep it in the fridge but slightly skeptical that it will turn soggy or the bread will not remain so crispy 🥺
@@newcastl0909 i added the rabri on top, and the garnish, and put it all in the fridge, where it stayed for about 6-7 hours before serving. When I served, the bread was not crispy for sure, but the overall texture was really nice and it all blended well together. I've made it a couple more times after, and its been perfect with some refrigeration time included.

@@nitus389 It depends upon how much crunchy you end up frying the bread pieces. But make sure it's crunchy, because after a point of time it's going to get soggy, but still taste good. 👍

Hi, do you scrape the cream off the boiling milk and discard or is it integrated back into the milk?

Shivani did you add black peppercorns and black cardamom as well in masala? Does it taste good?
@@nikitanehete9034 it sure does. Just make sure you stick to the recipe. However if you are sceptical, you can even reduce the amounts for both.
