I got my American Shorthair from Petsmart, broadway, Manhattan, NYC, and being a Yorkshireman from England, Julieanna my Shorthair came to England for 4 months before travelling to Cairo where we are now, we're going to end up in England on retirement, I love her to bits and finding out Shorthairs came to the USA from England coming with the Pilgrim Fathers makes her more special.

Pilgrims came to America from Holland, not England. You clearly are not American because we learn that in elementary school.
