Of course, tax payers have to cover this. Every protestor that was involved need to pay this - not Oregon tax payers. The students are adults and made the choice to participate- quit making excuses for the bad behavior and hold them accountable.

Not in Portland...$1,000,000 in damage and counting! The protesters and their organizers should be billed. Insurers will just raise rates to recoup their losses.

And yet not one terrorist protester has been charged. Remember the kid that started the wild fire in the gorge with a firework?

Portland and PSU have encouraged "activism" for decades. Now the dog turned around and bit the owner. The owner doesn't understand her dog has rabies.

The terrorists responsible should have to foot the bill. This is beyond criminal!

Sacred spaces? It's a study hall with books. And your ideology trashed it.

Protest. Interesting choice of words when vandalism is more appropriate.

The cost of taking away knowledge through wordy books and replacing them with DEI picture books. But domestic terrorism is mostly peaceful so keep voting blue!

My old University, I now understand why PSU's Jewish Student Union met off campus though at the time I didn't think much of it.
