I personally enjoy baking it with a ton of lemon slices on top, then putting fresh lemon on after, but I think I'm just addicted to seafood and citrus 😂
@jackieeeap2 any ideas on the measurements? I’m bad at cooking and trying to get better so without measurements, there’s a big fat chance I will screw this up.
@@1993Argie lol that’s exactly what I did and to my surprise, it turned out fine. I did have to cook the salmon longer cause it looked raw when I cooked it for 10 mins.

If you cook this with the lemons on top, the lemons become their own buttery goodness. My 3 children demolish our family salmon recipe and their favorite part is the lemon on top!
8-12 minutes at 425 is correct. Most recipes say 12-15 minutes at 425. 12-15 minutes is overcooked. Aim for an internal temperature of 125 at the thickest part, and let it rest covered for about 5 minutes. 8-10 minutes will give you the best results, for sure
425 for that long will make that salmon hard as rock. Does any of y'all on this platform even know how to cook fish? One other form has his instructions at 400 for 35 minutes. Folks, at those temps 10 minutes is too much. This is fish, you either turn down the temp to 315 and rust it for 15 minutes or you keep it at 425 and nuke it for 8 minutes. Ain't nobody trying eat rock hard fish. Salmon is suppose to be nice and juicy like... I won't say it, but the fellas know.
I love an easy recipe! If you don’t like removing the scales from the salmon you could always ask your fishmonger to do it 😅 no reason to serve/eat fish with scales on it 🤢
@@caseygreyson4178 yea…I know. I never said remove the skin, I specifically suggested removing the scales. If you pay attention to the video you’ll see the fish still has scales on it.

Thats the best combo for seafood .. buttress garlic & citrus

Is the salmon fully cooked??
No
Add some powder ginger and some paprika (red chili powder) and only then you will taste what properly cooked fish tastes like!
After you take the salmon out of the oven flip the pieces over and put the tray under a hot grill to crisp up the skin for a better product
