Filipe David I honestly fear that instead of orchestrating and remastering the original pieces, they will introduce some new mediocre stuff and/or simplify the instrumentations to guitar/electronics... Not to mention countless other things that can go wrong :----)
ehuahuahuahue Beside the fact that it requires an enormous amount of time and funds to remake one of their, if not THE, most successful game, as it would have to be graphically built from scratch, I do think that what you said has always had a huge importance to them. The idea of disappointing the fans by messing with some of the game's vital points has hindered them from taking a step forward in the past. I personally want to believe they do not intend to take away the experience people had while playing the Original FF VII, but rather give it to us remastered and not altered. I seriously hope it's done right! Well, It HAS to be done right :)
How about instead of simply using this in the remake this vision: DYNAMIC SITUATION BASED rendition of the theme with many subtle to obvious variations of the theme's musical phrases. They could take the musical phrases and arange them depending on the combat situation. Every musical passage could be recorded in 3 modes like "desperate/sad, normal, hopeful/comeback". Imagine the theme going all desparete and scary when the characters are injured and on the verge of dying, then - when you've healed the characters - the theme goes into "comeback mode" and gets all fired up in the next beat. The famous "flute turnaround part" could be used more rarely and to emphase the moments of regaining upperhand in battle. I think that could easilly create the most epic battle theme experience EVER.
It sure does. It's been a long, long time, but having this orchestral arrangement sound the way it actually did in the original game during battles was one of my main incentives for creating the loop.
yes, someone else agrees that most RUclips loops today are mostly just replayed. i do find enjoyment in the loops that are in-game looped. perfectly looped and ready to go in no time. yes plus this is my all time fav. orchestra version of Fighting! from FF 7. 7 is my fav game.
The only thing I'm not looking forward to with the remake is, I know in my soul they are going to use the Black mages rock version of every theme including one winged angel, and I really hate that Nobuo Uematsu did that with the original themes, I really just hope they orchestrate everything instead.
@Bardo Gamer That would be awesome if they did. They already brought back the FFXIII battle theme (Blinded by Light) during the Lightning Returns seasonal event. They should do more crossovers like that, if they did it with FFVII people would eat that shit up
Great work on a great theme! I have not found any good orchestral versions of this track from FFVII until now. Is there any chance you could post a link to the audio in mp3 format?
I liked, favorite, subscribed, and downloaded the mp3. Excellent work I really like this version. Hope you don't mind me using it in my ff7 pc game for the fighting theme.
Yo if your still interested it's actually very EASY!!! All you have to do is use audacity to keep it looping, convert it to .ogg and rename the file "bat". Once you've done that go into Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\data\music_ogg and replace your "bat" with the "bat" that's already in there.
hey ehuahuahuahue, do you have the orchestral loop version of 'the price of freedom' also found in 'Fulfilled Desire'? anyway, thanks alot man! have always wanted a loop version of parts of 'fulfilled desire'.
not gonna lie, while the orchestral version sounds mean, i really hope the remake DOESN'T use orchestral parts for the whole game. I'd expect aerith's theme to be orchestral, as well as a few other tracks. but not the boss tracks or fighting tracks. they need to be metal to actually give it that dark feel that ff vii had. i mean check out 'Haunted Shores' version of the opening/bombing mission. that shit sounds fucking dope.
Anderson Horler Agreed. Like that metallic exhale sound during the song. It always sounded cool and fit the mood. FF VII is just not a very orchestral game in my eyes.
When are they going to stop bullshiting and just redo FF7 in all its glory!?! I mean can I get a thumbs up if the screen grab and the music just made you want to play FF7 with bad ass modern-day voice acting and graphics?
i kinda see different views on this. as far as a total remake idk if it would work. the crossdressing scene would be WAY more awkward with modern day graphics, the battle system would have to get a remake, probably something along the lines of what final fantasy 12 did mixed with a bit of dissida. the areas would look different from the original and lose that nostalgic charm. while i'd love to play a remake, i don't think it would be as well accepted as the fans are thinking. a remake of the soundtrack however, I welcome with open arms! granted that they get nobuo uematsu and the black mages to record and arrange the orchestral versions :D
I couldn't have a PSP when I this game was released, so in 2014 I had the chance to play it with great graphics in my phone's emulator, it did worth waiting each second that I had to wait, because I could use filters and antialias, man, that game was so good that after I finished it, I felt so fucking empty.
Having recently bought the PC Version of the game on steam, and then getting a sound pack to replace the god awful PC soundtrack mix. I'm now VERY interested to see if there's some way to get this in the game instead!
And over and over... This is probably why I can only like this theme if I hear it like once a month or more. Maybe there'll be more renditions of the theme based on area so it doesn't become too repetitive.
The original title is "Fighting" from Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack. The song from which I have extracted and looped the orchestral arrangement is "Fulfilled Desire" from "Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core". You can see all the info in video's comment! :)
If y'all like this arrangement, you should listen to the Distant Worlds's version of To Those Who Fight - this is probably what Uematsu heard in his head as he composed the actual song: ruclips.net/video/-vIEwLe_hVY/видео.htmlm30s
I just now realized, there is no way he could actually swing that sword. I don't mean in terms of muscles, we all already know that. I mean that the tang is nowhere near thick enough to hold the blade horizontal. The moment he held the sword horizontally--or at any non-vertical angle--by the hilt, the tang would bend until the sword was pointed down again. Even assuming he's actually Superman, he'd have to hold the sword by the back of the blade whenever it wasn't vertical, and the first time he swung it the blade would snap the tang at the juncture from centrifugal force and fly off into the wild blue yonder. Maybe if he was lucky it would happen to crash into an enemy. Or one of his teammates if he was unlucky.
@@budakbaongsiah You can have all the abilities you want, if you lift a thousand pound sword by a handle with a quarter-inch tang it's gonna bend over like it wants your D.
I have to say, out of all the arrangements of this piece, this is one of the best ones!
I modded my PC version of FFVII to play this song every time I'm in battle
That's great haha. You should replace the boss music and final boss music with black mages versions too
This game got over 9000 awards, still not enough. it needs an oscar.
+Kelsey Curles I see what you did there
+Gabriel Bonfim Lol
Sounds like an anime reference... HMMM I WONDER WHY!?
Get hyped for FFVII: Remake!
I do hope they will use all these orchestrated tracks. They would be stupid not to.

Final Fantasy VII reboot for PS4 has been announced! Soon we'll be hearing this music over and over again!
Filipe David I honestly fear that instead of orchestrating and remastering the original pieces, they will introduce some new mediocre stuff and/or simplify the instrumentations to guitar/electronics... Not to mention countless other things that can go wrong :----)

Filipe David Well said - let's hope it turns out this way
Filipe David You mean remake.
+ehuahuahuahue Battle system isnt turn based now. But I am happy with it because just being stuck on one place would be boring as fuck
YESSSSS
MA BOI!!!!
Amazing work! Song gives chills and I use this for EXTRA SERIOUS fights in my DnD campaign and the players loose it! They all commend you greatly!
This was in crisis's core's credits, I believe. Good to find a such a seamless loop!
How about instead of simply using this in the remake this vision: DYNAMIC SITUATION BASED rendition of the theme with many subtle to obvious variations of the theme's musical phrases. theotakone YES!!!!! video game producers, audio designers, take notes! This is how it should be done!
Yeah because that is so easy and cheap to design.. totally wouldn't hurt the groove either to cut it in pieces..
+gtafan110010 Halo managed it just fine.
So did Far Cry 5, which uses dynamic music cues to show different moods, combat flow (fast/slow) and environments.
It can be done.
This has been done since Metal Gear Solid 2
I (and I'm sure many before me) will use this audio for many hours of gaming fun-times.
Also a huge +1 for crediting the original artists.
This seams so beautifully! Now if we could just get one, say, half an hour long. :>
It sure does.
It's been a long, long time, but having this orchestral arrangement sound the way it actually did in the original game during battles was one of my main incentives for creating the loop.
thank you very much for extending this! I love "Fullfilled Desire" very much and this was my favourite part. thanks!
perfect music ever made, I love Nobuo Oematsu so much.. he is perfect game sound maker.
thanks for making this loop man, it's great while working :)
I'm cryin' now,my memories, thanks for the music

Thanks for the video, great one!
This is SO much better than the version they used for the Aps fight in the remake...
i love the game and game's music too
This should be the remake battle theme as well
The E3 version was different. Orchestrated, sure, but not as well done as this version.

If they ever remake Final Fantasy VII this is the version they should use.
This is used in Crisis Core
Vincentoist I know but I meant in the often rumored but not-gonna-happen-in-our-lifetime remake of the original Final Fantasy VIII
Kickass Looping!

When are they going to stop bullshiting and just redo FF7 in all its glory!?! I mean can I get a thumbs up if the screen grab and the music just made you want to play FF7 with bad ass modern-day voice acting and graphics?
It would take over 20 discs.
I'm in bring it on!
Count me in too.
Unless the voice acting is as consistent as Bravely Default, no. What they should do is retranslate the script, and add BD's Random Encounter Slider.
i kinda see different views on this. as far as a total remake idk if it would work. the crossdressing scene would be WAY more awkward with modern day graphics, the battle system would have to get a remake, probably something along the lines of what final fantasy 12 did mixed with a bit of dissida. the areas would look different from the original and lose that nostalgic charm. while i'd love to play a remake, i don't think it would be as well accepted as the fans are thinking. a remake of the soundtrack however, I welcome with open arms! granted that they get nobuo uematsu and the black mages to record and arrange the orchestral versions :D

What is the name of this song, "fighting" or "battle theme"?
Its Final fantasy 7 "Fighting"
The original title is "Fighting" from Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack.
The song from which I have extracted and looped the orchestral arrangement is "Fulfilled Desire" from "Final Fantasy VII - Crisis Core".
You can see all the info in video's comment! :)
Thank you! So kind both of you ^-^
It is also commonly known as "Those who Fight"
They forgot the timpani at 1:06 plus the French horns are a little too weak there :(
KarlBonner1982 They didn't forget it, its another version of the battle theme simply.
Nice, you use east west software? sounds great!
It's Fulfilled Desire from Crisis Core
