Can't agree more. Played crisis core on the PsP Didn't have a save card at the time so every game felt like a speedrun. Finally bought the remake a couple days ago for my birthday and it feels amazing jamming out with Combat ost on Spotify.
When I first heard this, all I could think of at the time was Sonic. Ironically... Yet looking back now, it's more of a Chapter Ending battle theme than a normal encounter theme in the grand scheme of things.

at first I was disappointed in the enviroment graphics, but then shinra corp and midgar looked great again and that banger of a song started through in the longer battles

This to me is Zack's theme even more than Price of Freedom. Captures his effortless badassery perfectly.
Since Zack is to return in rebirth this theme needs to play every time and activating combat mode for him
