With the record scratches not nearly as buried in the mix this is probably closer to the original track from the Last Order OVA than the original Crisis Mix version, interesting choice.
@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax Neither! It was a 25 minute anime special originally released in 2005 that focused on the Nibelheim incident and Zack and Cloud on the run in the form of flashbacks narrated by Tseng. Takeharu Ishimoto provided the soundtrack, which includes several pieces he reused as remixes in Crisis Core (whether to save time or because the game trod some of the same ground I don’t know, but it makes sense).
@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax it's an anime short made by Mad House. It's both canon and not, since the story focuses on the events of the Nibelheim incident, but (although not clearly stated) through the eyes of the Turks (and in consequence, the official Shinra report). ruclips.net/video/VlsHRaPAUps/видео.html
Lmao I don't hate this version but I do miss the first riff being palm muted, and the octave shifting C# note in the background during the riff after the intro in the original
I really like the new soundtrack overall and I've only heard a couple tracks from the old one (and not the old version of this yet) but I do have to agree that Crisis core has one of the better FF soundtracks and that's saying a lot because I LOVE FF music!
To everyone complaining, the original has the record scratches - they're just very muted and due to the lower quality of the audio, almost inaudible/indistinguishable from the rest of the music.

Record scratches are a guilty pleasure of mine.
when this song came up it really cemented that i was playing a remake of a 2007 game lol
Glad you like it and please also check it out on Rumble and look forward to the Rebirth soundtrack on there as well if that's something you're into!
That shit goes extremely hard I'm like damn ishimoto😂

Is Last Order OVA a different game? Or an area in FFVII? (I never played the original, only the remake)

“Activating Parry Mode”
Ha
2:32 that's the same damn scratch sample from the DJ in The Sims: Bustin' Out
😆
Actually didn’t mind the addition of the Record Scratches in this track: it honestly suits Young Zack a lot more than his matured side.
Not a bad Remix but you just can't beat the original.... the old soundtrack was just so raw! FF7 Crisis Core had the best FF soundtrack imo.

I agree. The new soundtrack sounds a lot softer and has more leyboard and synth effects in it. A few tracks sounds entirely different unfortuneatly.
@@Evidancer I remember feeling like this about the FFX remaster soundtrack lol cuz I played it when I was a kid and I love those songs so I get it xD
100 fact.
This song goes so good for the trailer for this game too

Okay and? Maybe people preferred the record scratches being alot more subtle.
