I like this man. I watched the documentary about Claridges and he is sophisticated and sweet. Never pompous like some hotel managers.

Helen Reid - unfortunately he is no longer at Claridge's , he is now at the Corinthia which is an absolutely marvelous hotel.

@@CinevaCeva2 I see you took this so personally and the only way you were able to handle it was to get a tantrum and just call me an idiot (twice? 😂), especially with such limited knowledge about me. Also, calling someone a monster would require some explanation, instead you whine about some fucking Ann and not the one all of the comments were about

I also watched the documentaries about Corinthia and admired him from that moment. There is nothing more than amazing to describe this man. The way he manages the hotel has just obsessed me many times. He takes good care of things, even a very small detail. Fortunately, learned a lot from his working attitude. Such an inspiring gentleman ever! x

I don't work with the hotel sector and never have, however, I find Thomas Kochs an inspiration, as what he says can be converted into so many aspects of life. He appears to have a wonderful combination of strength and sensitivity, a splendid combination. A great presentation.

Wonderful! Thomas Kochs is delightful & very charming! The way he looks at things is very refreshing. It is no wonder that he provides such amazing experiences for the Guests in each Hotel that he manages. He did this so brilliantly at Claridge's & he also accomplishes this splendidly now at Corinthia as well. He is indeed brilliant, as well as emanates such a sweetness & humility. He is definitely a person who would be such a joy to meet or to know. Thank you for sharing this wonderful Commentary from him!

Isnt it interesting that the GM of such a Exulted British Instituition is a German! To me thats an Indication of how pompous somebody English would be however it also indicates that the Clarridges really cannot be that British after all. Also after viewing a few documentaries on the Hotel I would say that luxury Hotels in Japan would be just as good if not better with their service and pricing. Essentially theres a paradox to going to these Hotels and thats basically that your screwed with a smile!! Seriously UK Sterling 20,000 for one night in the Luxury Penthouse!!!
