Here is the explanation for dark matter/galaxy rotation curves - Wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass the known, fundamental phenomenon of dilation (sometimes called gamma or y) will occur. Mass that is dilated is smeared through spacetime relative to an outside observer. It's the phenomenon behind the phrase "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". Time dilation is just one aspect of dilation, it's not just time that gets dilated. A 2 axis graph illustrates the squared nature of the phenomenon, dilation increases at an exponential rate the closer you get to the speed of light.
Dilation will occur wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass because high mass means high momentum. This includes the centers of very high mass stars and the overwhelming majority of galaxy centers.
It can be inferred mathematically that the mass at the center of our own galaxy must be dilated. This means that there is no valid XYZ coordinate we can attribute to it, you can't point your finger at something that is smeared through spacetime. More precisely, everywhere you point is equally valid. In other words that mass is all around us.
Dilation does not occur in galaxies with low mass centers because they do not have enough mass to achieve relativistic velocities. It has recently been confirmed in 6 very low mass galaxies including NGC 1052-DF2 and DF4 to have no dark matter. In other words they have normal rotation rates. This also explains why all binary stars are normal rotation rates, not 3 times normal.
Ya know, I was thinking the very same thing. 🤔
Thank you for this new to me knowledge. Makes sense. Will study more on this. ❤

@@Amandalynn6350 Thanks, it's just a matter of time before more people realize this. I made a video on the subject "dark matter is dilated mass"

Dark matter, baryonic matter and now self-interacting dark matter (SIDM)...
...and then dark energy = opposing gravity...
All of these relatively new terms try to explain certain processes and properties of the cosmos, practically an introduction to an "invisible world", similar to what happens in quantum physics (neutrinos, quarks, electrons, gluons, etc.).
I think something must have existed before the universe came into being, something that we can call "ever-existing and infinite neutral space". A really interesting essential area, but one in which we are still very much at the beginning...
Since the so called dark matter makes up most of the universe, maybe that is the real matter of the universe and we are the odd ones out. There may be many highly advanced civilisations living in the dark matter universe.
Maybe it's a by-product from the big bang?
Wow, SIDM and dark matter collisions? This is so interesting! Would you like to learn more about the latest theories about dark matter?
I have two words. 'Quantum locking' 😮
Dark matter travels in an anticlockwise direction, and the dense as well as light matter travels in clockwise direction. There is a binding interaction between both the matters due to its movement. Thank you
Which translates to me as.. forgive me lol..." don't worry, be happy". No disrespect intended. Choosing life... even if bull/ null to some. Life is P.O.V.. your own point of view/ direction. ❤

“Cosmic Dance”🌌
I'm not seeing relevant links in the video description, so I will mention: there is a Wikipedia page about self-interacting dark matter with more information.
The recent news that the video is about is "An N-body/hydrodynamical simulation study of the merging cluster El Gordo: A compelling case for self-interacting dark matter?" by R. Valdarnini.
Liked and shared.
I don't know if this is an apt comparison, but it seems to me as a layman that the relationship between the CDM and SIDM models is analogous to the relationship between Newtonian physics and quantum physics. If there is, then I wonder if some of the information gleaned from the study of SIDM would be applicable to better understanding the world of quantum physics as it relates to Newtonian physics and/or vice-versa
What is the mechanism of the interaction? It can't be any EM it wouldn't be dark. If it were the strong force it would interact with regular matter. So are you proposing that dark matter has a dark force too? I'm still not clear how gravity works in the first place so I'm looking towards a grand unification theory to explain it. How does quark/gluon confinement warp spacetime? I think that holds the answer to both dark matter and energy.
Yes exactly, good side note, I feel very similarly... 🥸

Ah, the dreaded “dark sector force/s”! Maybe there is a better explanation for dark matter and how it interacts with itself but not regular matter ‽ This does complicates things a lot with the standard model.
Dark matter came about because some guy seen a galaxy spinning to fast too hold itself together with it's own gravity. So he assumed their was something darker going on! 🤔
If dark matter is invisible, how is it known. If you can't see something, how can you name it ? And why search for something you can't see? That's nuts.
S.I.D.M, Sye-D.M, Siddum; how many different ways can you pronounce the same thing in one video
Reality emerges from action! I kind of always assumed CDM interacted with itself. It could only exist in potentiality otherwise, no?
I think there is no dark matter. rotation force impacts of galaxies stars & planets etc, electromagnetic radiations, other visible and invisible rays impacts in space/sky, like we feel the impact of atmosphere on earth

Like freeways in the CCP's China..😅
OK computer.
Interesting stuff though.
RIP → ΛCDM
Shouldn't the gravitational lensing observed in the Webb Deep Field image provide a clue regarding the amount of visible versus invisible matter that caused the lensing?
I'd think that would be a slam dunk for some brainiac to figure out!
The new theory explains the apperant dark matter distributions but how does it explain the coincidental appearance of dark matter and galaxies in relatively close proximity to each other? How does the 85% of the mass of the universe interact gravitationally with 'normal' matter?
Like Newtons pendulum?🤔🤨😆
Well, it all started a long time ago. You see, the whole universe was in a hot dense state then nearly 14 billion years ago expansion started, wait...
Phase transition makes the most sense as everything phase transitions.
I told you a few days ago, all matter has a balance...
Yes, self-interacting is the key; but one does not need to detect it to know it. You have detected the quarks, the electrons, the higgs, etc, but you still do not know what they are. It is all about dynamics --there is nothing else. Freebie: dark matter are gravitons. Ask ladybug and Rosalind Franklin for more!
Heavy is the entropy
By entropy does he mean bullshit?
Just asking
All colors when mixed make black?
Facets ?
Prisms?
Reflections?
Salt?
No clue...
Bits and pieces that seem un connectable to I....

I agree it's just the midsection of vector field of varied interacting magnetic field.
About of Dark Matter and Dark energy, I want to know what diffrences those things have and is there Dark Matter or Dark Energy in anywhere else than Space like here on Earth? Would you pls make a video about of how humanity finally visited on The Dark Side of the Moon what changes the History of humanity? That video was good thank you, happy summer and Pride everyone! 😊❤
Time doesn't exist. The universe doesn't see a future nor does it record itself.
I don't mean in terms of "i have to be at work around 5. Or how long things take to get from point a to point b.
If it does exist, theirs more to it then what we understand. The man made concept of time that most are aware of has some law to it. But these are man made laws and concepts.
The universe doesn't have laws by which it abides by, like say entropy. Theirs nothing to point at and say "there! There is time, i will go and study it!" Or one cannot place time in a jar by waving the jar around and filling it with time.
This is my opinion. I think when we say time, it think about time. That darkness we think about is something else. It could very well be stunned to the law or laws of time but it's something else entirely. I think the sooner we understand time doesn't exist for the universe and the laws that govern it the sooner we may advance.
If time were to be taken out of an equation or formula (any of them) do they still work? Or do i not know wtf I'm talking about? 😮 I'm amateur at my very best. Even below average. But what i lack in the math, i make up for in imagination!
if this is real ..
I'm going with glueballs being dark matter.
Dark matter collision? Did a space craft crash into an invisble wall?
So many theories, so little facts.
We (the people of the world) think that , we have lived on this earth for a very long time - which is not correct - this is the reason why so many theories and ...
Oh no, more Science Fiction.
I don't think dark matter is real. Prove it.
Hum that’s what they’re working on?
You are not real.
This is utter bollocks. You don't have the first clue what you're looking at. Prove dark matter exists (or not) before you start bloviating about it.
I've heard from the beginning and here lately ' it is just matter, with no special properties ' it's unaccounted for.
Did NASA finally found the Empire of Devil ? 🧐🥸
