Oh! 7:40 you guys just walked passed a stall selling popiah (spring roll), this is one thing you can try, we have deep fried version (like spring roll) and a non-fried version (like Vietnamese spring roll).
8:25 Michael is so funny, I didn't know you can speak Chinese ! hahahaha . It seems that they are having a glutinuous rice dumpling competition. The glutinous rice dumpling (Bak Zhang) is also something delicious, I recommend you guys to try it.
You should come to Malaysia or any country in Malaysia during Ramadhan. During Ramadhan you can find so many foods... and sometimes you can't find it after Ramadhan. I can call it like Food Feast. You should try!
When Michael did that Chinese language imitation and when Gigi said "It taste like" and Michael cuts her and said "It taste like better" I laughed so hard 😅😅😅
looks like you have gone to Melaka without knowing what are the main attractions and activities in the place. Jongker street night market is one of the popular activities in Melaka! There is a dumpling making competition is going on at this time of your recording, part of a celebration of a Chinese festival.
15:18 egg bubble waffles, another Hong Kong street food, my favourite. I recognised a few Taiwanese street foods as well. Seems like Hong Kong and Taiwanese street foods are quite popular around the world, especially Bubble tea.
Talk about tatoo..you should get a traditional Sarawakian tatoo when you come to Kuching Sarawak. Our traditional tatoos always use nature as its designs..like birds, animals, plants and flowers.
Shrimp paste, we call it 'Belacan', had a strong smells and flavor but it's make food very² delicious 😋. Anyway thanks for visiting my hometown melaka.🤗
The Otak otak you tried in Singapore was grilled in Banana leaf and was wider in width. The one you tried in Melaka was grilled in Palm fronds. I find that the palm fronds give a better fragrance. So when you are offered both, go for the palm frond version.

It seems the local are celebrating Dragon Boat Festival (Duan Wu Jie). The origin of this summer festival centers around ascholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man, but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperor's court and later the downfall of state he lived caused him great sorrow. In his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Lo River. The local staying around Mi Lo River made dumblings to throw them into the river to prevent the fish from eating the body of Chu Yuan. The dragon boat with drums playing is to also to frighten away the fishes. Thus we remember this by eating dumblings. We say 端午节安康。
Lol... as someone with Malaysian relatives..yes..Malaysians have sweeter tooth I think. Prolly why they're sweeter too 🤣😏 But jokes aside, they really can handle sugar. There's this roti bomb which is roti canai with sugar..in Singapore known as roti prata, but very unlikely offered with sugar..
Love from Bangladesh. Tomorrow will be a special day for Bangladeshi's because tomorrow will be the Inauguration ceremony of padma brige.biggest mega project of Bangladesh. Fully funded by Bangladesh.
Pity you Gigi, seems like you cant even get a time to think before Michael brushed you away. I hope you managed to go back and get yourself a mango and apom.
